The Daniel K. Inouye Kilauea Point Lighthouse was built in 1913 to light the way for traveling ships. Guests who are feeling adventurous may tour the lighthouse by climbing up the stairs as far as the watch room.
Waioli Mission House is one of the most famous sites in Hanalei Town and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Guests experience a glimpse of missionary life from 1837, complete with historically accurate features such as lava rock chimneys and fine koa furniture.
