Kauai's Festival of Lights

Lights on Rice Parade
One of Kauai’s biggest holiday events, the Lights on Rice Parade, takes place in Lihue and draws thousands of spectators every year. We've saved one of the best events for (next to) last, and that is the Waimea Light Parade, a beloved tradition on Kauai’s west side. Families line the sidewalks to watch the colorful procession, and the atmosphere is pure joy. The evening ends with a free concert in the middle of town. It’s a perfect way to experience Kauai’s small-town charm during the holidays.
