Lae Nani Ala Kukui is an exceptional vacation rental property. The home is exquisite inside, and the access to the pool and beach fabulous. The location of this property also provides great access to the rest of the island. We are already planning our return trip.

honeymoon on kauai
Our time on Kauai was amazing. We loved the area and we feel the Lihue/ Kapaa areas was perfect. It is in the middle of all the areas we were interested in seeing. We traveled to Waimea Canyon to the Naplali Coast. We had our wedding on the beach in front of our rental and it had everything we needed.

island life relaxation
Having rented many condos in the islands, this one was the strangest when it came to "amenities" in the kitchen. There were no spices, condiments, zip lock baggies or Tupperware type containers in the unit. It is impossible to "live" in a unit without all of the above. The couch/bed in the living room was a 5/10 as the bed was not sleep friendly. Master bedroom was 10/10 and the bathroom also a 9/10. We could not find a way to turn off the fan/light in the bathroom... Remember this is a bottom unit, there will be noisy neighbors above you.
We enjoyed the property and the grounds outside of the Unit as the location is perfectly located.
Swimming pool area was clean and had all of the needs required.
Parking inside the secure grounds each day provided for a sense of security for our rental car.

In tropical environments, professionally managed vacation rentals follow a Clean Slate Policy for hygiene and pest-prevention, which means pantry items and condiments are not left in the unit. This unit is known for having an excellent assortment of cookware, tableware and appliances. The small and silent bathroom ceiling fan is set up for continuous-run on low to constantly balance humidity, so it operates as intended. The sleeper sofa is a quality unit in good condition, though we regret to hear that it did not meet your personal comfort preference. Additionally, the building is well-insulated and historically very quiet, though occasional activity from an upstairs neighbor can occur in any multi-level complex.

perfect relaxation
The condo was exactly as described and seen in the pictures. The kitchen was a delight and the main room perfectly suited to indoor relaxation. The lanai was a lovely place to relax. It was in the shade in the morning and the full sun in the afternoon, which can be a plus or minus depending on your point of view. We enjoyed the grounds and the ability to walk to restaurants and even the grocery store (about 1 mile away).

perfect ending to our vacation
We stayed at Lae Nani Ala Kukui for 5 nights at the end of our two week Hawaii vacation. The entire resort and our condo unit was beautifully kept and the location was supreme. We spent most of our time on the lani on in the ocean. We cooked a few meals on the grills provided and enjoyed Lava Lava Beach club next door. We highly recommend staying at Lae Nani.

lae nani condos are our favorite spot
This is our 6th time at Lae Nani and our first time in this ground floor unit. It was a perfect location to be in the pool every day and next to the BBQ's. We love being able to go to Lava Lava Beach Club next door for food and cocktails.The bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed was not.The condo could use some updating and had the bare minimum with cooking supplies. Only salt & pepper.
My pet peeve with some condos, including this one are: you pay a lot per night and get the cheapest, 1 ply TP and cheap sheets and no shampoo or conditioner. We just went to Longs and purchased some.Also, a TV in the bedroom would have been nice.Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend the condo.

pure magic
We loved everything about this rental including location, gated parking, large windows in the living and dining rooms for viewing the beautiful Hawaiian landscaping. The unit included beautiful Hawaiian art pictures and pottery and the furnishings were comfortable and tasteful, especially the bed. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. Best I’ve ever seen. We enjoyed the wonderful collection of Hawaiian books in their personal library and the air conditioning was much appreciated during muggy weather. We enjoyed the paved walking trail next door that runs along the ocean and having Lava Lava Beach Club next door for occasional dining was a nice surprise. The pool water was the perfect temperature and the pool water, area, and furniture was well maintained and clean. We would love to return to this exact unit any time! A big thank you to the owner who shares the treasure.

convenient home base, steps from the beach
This was a great condo, literally steps away from a beautiful beach and great shopping/restaurants. Centrally located so perfect as a home base to go to the North Shore or to the South and 15 mins from the airport. We will be back for sure!

phenomenal condo
For disabled seniors, this was the perfect place! 1st floor and the lanei is steps away from pool, bbqs, beach and Lava Lava Beach Club next door. Both sunrise and sunsets can be seen from this property.

very nice, clean & well appointed accommodation
This beautiful unit is very tastefully decorated with many extra comforts throughout! The mini-split a/c system kept everything cool, even on the warmest & most humid days.

just relax
We came here to beat the Texas heat and that was accomplished, but we also were able to Just Relax. Our first trip to Kauai was in 1981 so we saw many changes but the island is still The Garden Isle and we enjoyed that.

best vacation, and vacation spot, ever!
This property was perfect for our stay - central location made it easy to explore the island, great amenities nearby (pool, beach, restaurants, shopping), super comfortable accommodations with nice linens and practically everything we needed to feel like we were truly on vacation. The management company (Kauai Vacation Rentals) made it easy to check in and check out, called us with updates when the access gate code changed (we had to tell other renters what the codes were!), and were very friendly and helpful too. I definitely will go back to this property and book again with Kauai Vacation Rentals!

peaceful and heavenly
“First impressions!” That was the phrase we kept repeating over and over. Our first impressions were phenomenal . They begin when we drove into a secure gated entry, and then meeting another guest in the parking lot who graciously showed us to our condo.
The condo was immaculately clean and smelled fresh. Updated appliances and furniture, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen cupboards have small appliances and all the cooking utensils we would ever need.
But the thing that knocked it out of the park for us was the view! Beautiful well maintained gardens, the pool and grill area was attended to and cleaned everyday. The ocean view was beautiful. We sat on the new and comfortable lanai furniture and listened to the birds and ocean waves. This is a very peaceful setting. We loved it and have booked for next year. Thank you for sharing this heavenly spot with us.

The location of this unit was perfect. The new owner has done upgrades and added beautiful artwork. The bedding was comfortable. We appreciate that we got to share in a piece of paradise with this pace.
