Spectacular view in a clean unit with upgraded appliances and comfortable furniture. Jesse, onsite manager kindly helped us with access. The property is smack in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do; breakfast pastry shop across the street, 5 popular beach restaurants closeby, in-town Kapa'a lunch places and services--grocery market, Starbucks and Longs; 30 minutes to northshore and southshore; 10 minutes to Fern Grotto cruise and waterfalls.

easy location, not the quietest
State main floor nice view of the bay however, lots of road noise and a strong sulphur smell every day we were there. Bedroom window shares the walkway for other condos and with no AC the windows are open, which makes quite a bit of noise in the bedroom and not much privacy at all.

picture perfect
Our rental unit looked like a brand new condo. New flooring and furnishings. Comfortable living room sofa and chair. Fully stocked kitchen. The view is first rate from the ground floor lanai.
Our overall comfort level was top tier.

great place to relax
Incredible views and really nice furnishings and beautiful and well supplied kitchen. Just two negatives. Some traffic noise on nearby Kuhio Hwy. A little warm due to no A/C.

calm serene waves and a priceless view
We were amazed at the location with the ability to view the ocean and sunrises , while taking in breakfast and meals on the Lanai. Easy access to everything in local Kapaa town and SUP and Cayla rentals for the river activities a very short walk away

ocean veiw on the bay
We were so pleased with our condo! It was clean and had what we needed to bake and cook our food. We loved being right next to the bay and enjoyed the sound of the surf. The location was so convieniant. We enjoyed going up and down the coast, exploring many state parks and reserves along the way. Our only difficulty was the inconsistent WiFi.

Easy check in..great location, central to the island, very clean, had beach towels, 2 ice chests of different sizes, beach chairs, umbrellas we not ones to put in sand and no snorkel gear. Ceiling fans in living area and bedroom..next to pool..plenty of bath towels, etc, kitchen was nice, had everything we needed. Tv worked. Lanai was nice with table, chairs ,wish we didn't have to walk down a bunch of stairs to very small beach. Went to other beaches...pool very clean. Overall, very satisfied. Would stay here again. Property manager was very friendly and courteous..check in easy. Check out easy..

lovely condo with a great view
My husband and I were very happy with this condo!
It was beautifully furnished and had many extra amenities.
The view from the lanai overlooking the water offered beautiful sunrises in the morning and star filled skies at night.
The unit was very clean, tidy and fresh smelling when we got there and I think house keeping deserves high honors. Even the glasses in the cabinets were in tidy rows!
I thank the owners for such attention to detail making our experience a memorable one.

take me back
Would definitely stay at Wailua Bay again. Loved the view and sound of the surf. Traffic noise was not too bad considering how close to road. Pool was a nice option to cool off. Safeway close by with great barbecues at pool, nice kitchen with dishwasher. Older and friendly guests staying here.
Hot for October with no AC, fans helped. One floor fan burnt out which management replaced within a one hour phone call. Amazing service!
First floor location is nice, minimal stairs but the bedroom windows are at the walkway, lacks privacy. Older building but well maintained.

wonderful rental
Our rental unit had all the comforts of home! And also a beautiful ocean view. We were very pleased with the fully stocked kitchen. It had ample dishes and utensils. Everything we needed was there.

This condo is perfect. The view from inside looking out is breathtaking. The sound of the waves is perfect. The condo has everything anyone could possibly need. The pool is lovely and quiet. Parking is easy. I cannot say enough about this place.

honeymoon adventure

loved the location
The location was perfect for all that we did. We felt like we were in the middle of everything. We loved having a kitchen and laundry since we had just came from a week on a different island and needed to catch up on laundry and was ready to cook some meals.
If you are looking for AC this place does not have was fine for us for the time of year however due to all the rain it was very humid which did bother my husband's asthma.
A collapsible clothes line would have been handy to line dry wet suits or the heavy items (jeans, T-shirt and towels) as I found myself hanging them over the railing when it wasn't raining and the bar stools to help them dry which due to humidity takes longer.
The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated that.
We also liked having the pool right outside the door practically.

Great views from the balcony, the condo was just as described. Laundry in unit, kitchen was fully stocked with all gadgets. We loved walking across the street to the passions bakery each morning. We also had the best surf and turf at Bulls Shed! We ziplined with Koloa company. Luau at the Luau Kalamaku, with train ride!!

Our unit looked exactly as shown on the website. It was clean and modern with everything we needed for our stay. It could use a safe to lockup valuables but not a deal breaker. Would stay in this unit again.

amazing view
It was a pleasure staying in this unit. The 180 view and sound of the waves was a constant joy. We liked that the covered lanai was deep and wide enough to sit in the sun or in the shade. Condo is nicely decorated and had everything we needed.

beautiful condo with gorgeous views of the ocean! we woke up every morning to watch the sunrise and even saw whales one morning. Great location near kapaa town shops and dining. we loved waking up to the roosters every morning.. if you want to sleep in consider bringing ear plugs!

perfect rental
The staff is great to work with. Their office is conveniently located near the airport. The condo was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had a great view. The location is great as it is half way between everything to see on the North and South sides of the island. Only 10 minutes from the airport. Loved our stay.

perfect getaway
This property was prefect. Centrally located to get anywhere on the island. You can hear the waves crashing 24/7, amazing to fall asleep and wake up to.
The beach is a short 2 minute (max) walk down and there’s hardly anyone ever there. The property also had a pool that was very well maintained. Kauai Vacation Rentals had two goodie bags waiting for us when we got there which ended up coming in handy. There’s also plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, coolers and snorkeling gear so you don’t have to worry about buying anything when you land on the island. 10/10

great view but deferred maintenance
The condo had a beautiful view of Wailua Bay. KVR is a great rental agency but the condo complex could use some maintenance and our particular condo could really use a tune up. Hinges are rusty, some baseboards were warped and need to be cleaned. The slider screen were a battle to get open and the slider themselves did not slide well. The bedroom furniture is tired. The kitchen was updated in the last decade or so but already there is swelling of the cabinet doors.
We did not spend a lot of time in the condo- just at night and before going out for the day so it was fine but I think small improvements could be considered to make it more amazing.

lovely kauai vacation condo
A simple comfortable place to stay with an amazing g view from the lanai. Very nice upgraded kitchen and bath. Walking distance to beautiful Lydgate Beach Park. And central location to go to North and East shore destinations. We had a great time staying here and exploring the island.
Only critique: furniture (sofa & ottoman) could be upgraded.
