You can’t beat this location. The beech offers excellent snorkeling, turtles all over the place. Lots of fans to make for the lack of A/C. Tons of hot water for the 5 bathrooms. Only thing I’d ask for is a modern TV.

We had a wonderful stay in the Wade house on Anini Beach. The house was perfect for our multigenerational family of 10, with three full primary king-bed suites and two additional bedrooms with two twins each. The setting was sublime, and the house comfortable and welcoming.

As the chief cook for the family, I'd also like to commend the amazingly well equipped kitchen. It was such a pleasure to have oversize pots, pans, and serving dishes and just about every appliance one could hope for.

I'd be happy to return for an even longer stay.

Perfect for multi generational trip. Spot is secluded and peaceful! House is a little run down, but the view makes it worth it. No AC is tough in afternoon, so plan excursions then :)!

Great home right across the road from the beach. Well appointed home, lot's of fans to keep cool, lot's of towels, beach chairs, toys. Great rental. Such a great spot that a small evening wedding picked right in front of the home to have their ceremony. Easy wade into the water with snorkelling right off shore. Would definitely stay again. A few items weren't working and we spoke to the property management company at exit (not a big deal at all) and they were kind and interested in making sure everything was perfect for the next guests. Great experience.

We got to experience all the north shore has to offer at this amazing house. From the most calm seas for the first 3 days to beautiful giant swells for the rest of our 7 days. Near the end of the road this house offers the peace and quiet and views we long for in our trips to paradise. We couldn’t stay in our original condo due to a water leak, and the amazing team at KVR more than made up for it by letting us stay here. We won’t rent with anyone else, they have always taken great care of us.

This was really the perfect house for us. Took my whole family -- kids and grandkids. Five adults and five kids (6 months - 10 years). The house was really perfect. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Plenty of beach towels -- which was really appreciated. And the small little private beach across the street was amazing. Water could have been warmer --- but considering the time of year -- it was great. The kids were able to snorkel out quite a ways and saw loads of fish and turtles. Some even did a night snorkel out to the far drop off and saw octopus and eels. The great thing about the location was the house is almost at the end of the road -- so very little traffic. Cars did turn around in front of the house -- but honestly wasn't a problem. The checkin and check out were smooth and had no problems with the house. I personally would have loved a french press coffee pot :).... but the others were happy with all the kitchen was stocked with. House was clean and light switches were labeled which was super helpful since there are several spaces that had separate lights. Grandsons had more fun getting coconuts and fishing, and chasing geckos and snorkeling -- no one even attempted to turn on a TV. Highly recommend this house for a large family --- but even a small family would love it!

We had a simply awesome time at the Wade House. We had three couples and a baby and I can truthfully say everyone of us enjoyed the house, the beach and the location on The island. The common area was perfect for gathering and dining. Just PERFECT!

We had a great week at the Wade House. The 3 master suites layout of the house was perfect for our families. We spent every night on the deck, star gazing and every day on the beach in front of the house. The view is gorgeous and the calm beach was perfect for smaĺ children. The kitchen was very well equipped, although the fridge was temperamental. A word of warning: the house isn't air conditioned. During our stay, the 2 smaller bedrooms were 90° every night, even with 2-3 floor fans running all day. The breezes outside never seemed to cool the house.

it was wonderful to be so close to the beach. The house was beautiful. It was clean and well stocked for cooking. There is a room on the the left of the house that tended to warmer than the others.

We rented this house in 2008 and enjoyed it so much - we rented it again. Everyone in our group loves this location and home. The only downside is there is no air conditioning. Afternoons are rather humid.

Great floor plan for six adults and four kids. Perfect location for a low key beachfront stay. Location is on the end of a long dead end street so there is little traffic. It’s an eight minute drive to the Main Street so any trip for meals or other than enjoying the house and your own beach takes awhile. The house, particular the kitchen cabinets red refreshing. It for the need to refresh the house we’d have give it a five star rating. It’s priced like a five stars so the owners are doing it a disservice it th spend a few dollars to. Ring it to the standard it deserves.

I can't say enough good things about the Wade House - it was the perfect place to stay for our 25th anniversary with our family. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with stunning ocean views and easy access to the beach. The floor plan is great for a multi-family group, with three master bedrooms (all with ocean views!) and two additional bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. It was wonderful to be able to spread out and have our own space, while still enjoying all the amenities of the house.

One of our favorite things about the Wade House was the private beach across the street. It's such a beautiful spot, and we had a blast taking family photos and snorkeling with the sea turtles. It really added to the overall experience and made our trip feel even more special.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Wade House to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable vacation rental in Anini Beach, Kauai. It was the perfect place for our family celebration, and we'll never forget our time there.

This was the best home we've stayed at in our couple dozen times we've stayed in Kauai. With three separate king suites, and two more rooms with bathrooms next to them, we easily had room for our ten person family. There are huge ocean views from almost every room. The kitchen was the best stocked one we've ever seen with even a nice starter pantry of spices and condiments so we didn't have to buy everything to cook. The large dining table allowed us all to have dinner together. The home is absolutely beautiful and the beds were comfy. There are three large decks that face the ocean. The stars were beautiful at night from this vantage point. The private back garden had a huge well maintained hot tub for our use. And there is practically your very own beach across the street so we had coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening on 'our' little beach. Five Stars and thank you for renting your home!

Wade Home is a spacious house in a superb location with access to a picturesque beach. Three master bedrooms with ocean view plus two additional bedrooms and all with en suite bathrooms make it a pleasure to be here with a multi-family group. We stayed here four years ago and literally nothing has changed inside the house. Fairly clean but still has the same slow coffee maker, same tired couch cushions, no new paint. Traffic on the narrow road has ticked up considerably and the cute little beach in front of the house has become a very popular tourist spot. There were at least five photo shoots that took place during our week long stay, in addition to fishermen and other beach goers. We loved our time here but probably won’t be back again because it’s not the serene place it used to be.

Anini Beach is perfect for families especially younger children. Water is calm you can paddle board, snorkel and swim! Property management was great. Property was in a perfect location from our family. I felt the house needed a deep clean especially the kitchen cabinets. Also, one of the twin bedrooms was musty and the bed linens needed to be washed. The family room cushions definitely needed to be recovered/cleaned. Overall, because management was responsive and the location was perfect our family truly enjoyed our vacation!

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at Wade House. The beach was great to have right outside the front door. Two small suggestion would be to replace the pillows on the living room sofa and mount the living room TV above the picture window (would make a better view). But we give Wade House two thumbs up.

The Wade House was a perfect fit for our family of 8. Six adults with a 4 month old and a 2 year old. The location was perfection. Across a narrow street from a lovely beach looking at a vast ocean horizon. The house was spacious and designed so each of our 3 family units had their own large bedroom and bath along with 2 other bedrooms and two other bathrooms. We loved this place in every way and plan to go back someday.

We enjoyed eight amazing days of rest, and stunning views at this property. Five bedrooms ensures that everyone has enough space. The kitchen was well-stocked and a couple of our party members enjoyed the hot tub very much. The grill was a wonderful plus because we could cook outside in the evenings. The front porch is ideal for sipping a cool drink or a glass of wine and watching the day end and the evening begin over the water. Better yet, the beach is steps away, just across a small one lane dirt road. Your children can play on the beach while you watch from the deck!

The stay at this property was the highlight of our trip. The location was incredible. The beach in front feels like your own private beach with fantastic snorkeling. We saw turtles, stingray and many different colorful fish. Snorkel in the morning, go exploring and come back to do a little more swimming and snorkeling and enjoy the incredible sunsets.

This was an overall excellent rental in an absolutely perfect location. It is literally steps from the beach situated on a reef that lets you walk or shallow swim what seems like forever.

The sunsets are as if they were made just for you. Bring a tripod to capture them or just grab the provided beach chairs and prop yourself on the little stretch of beach that's just in front.

You will need a car to drive to nearby grocery store, coffee shops, etc, but everything is a short trip away.

The place is well-appointed. There were a few relatively minor post-pandemic hiccups but the agency was courteous and eager to respond. They sent someone out to hand-deliver an appliance that needed replacing. I'd like to see some upgraded appliances — especially a better coffee maker (a french press would also be great for individual cups) and blender — given the tier of place it is, but not a deal-breaker.

If you're wondering whether it's worth it — it definitely is, especially if you want a PLACE you can sink into and enjoy rather than running to and fro. It is easy to get to things, but this is a place to enjoy being at as much as enjoy being on Kauai.

It works well for a group of people that are connected to each other. Enough space to spread out and not get in each other's way. And you do share the kitchen so at least be able to get along and have good agreements for those moments when you cross paths.


You'll want to do a good shop and get all the things you'll need because once there, you won't want to leave. I mostly didn't.

We took jaunts to Queen's Bath, a fishing trip and one night out to dinner, but mostly we enjoyed this amazing home that has just enough details to make it still feel inviting but not like you're in someone else's space.

I will return as many times as I can.

We had an amazing stay! The house layout is perfect for a big family to all be together when wanting to and alone time when needed! The rooms are beautiful and the view is outstanding! Completely loved the fact that we had our own private beach, except for some visitors, it was very quiet. Very enjoyable and the perfect house for our first Kauai get away!

We stayed for 5 days for an extended family vacation & it was perfect! Would also be perfect for a couple of families with kids! Different wings of the house with separate bathrooms. The perfect set up! We had more than one cook in the kitchen and it worked out just fine. Favorite time was watching the beautiful sunsets from the lanai!

A comfortable, beautiful place for family to gather. We enjoyed snorkeling and paddle boarding at Anini Beach right across the road. We made wonderful meals, slept well and hot tubed after hiking the Napali coast. We were returning after 20+ years remembering the old Wade House when the kids were young. Now we introduced their young families to this paradise.

Peaceful, soft beds, 5 bedrooms! 5 bathrooms! Great view! Lots of kitchen utensils, pans,etc. Comfortable couch, big table. Enjoyed the beach chairs, Hot Tub and WIFI.

We had an amazing week at the Wade Home. The layout was perfect for a large extended family group, and was very kid friendly. This stretch of Anini Beach was very quiet and the area right across the street from the home was perfect for the kids. Close to Princeville/Hanalei and the rest of the North Shore attractions, we hope to return soon!
