a comfortable escape
We loved our stay here. Well-located on the north shore, comfortable set up for a couple, decked out what what you need for Kauai. Would have been nice to have one change of towels, but we made do by using the washer and drier regularly. Cooking was easy with a well-stocked kitchen. The view into the sunset was heavenly. No AC but it wasn’t too bad. I’d stay there again.

relaxing stay
It was exactly as described. A nicely decorated condo near beaches we love: Hanalei and the cool little Sealodge beach. Management was quick to respond to my questions before I arrived. You can go anywhere on the island as a day trip. There is a resident gecko near the balcony who you can enjoy along with red breasted cardinals. All in all great. Only thing I would add is shade to the Sealodge pool.

great hq for the north shore
Terrific stay at Sealodge B-9. First off, cleanliness is near the top of my requirements. I've never walked into a unit more impeccably clean than this one. Everything was as shown in pictures. Well-stocked with everything you'd need - in the kitchen, beach chairs/umbrella/cooler. Bonus is washer/dryer in unit, planned my packing accordingly. Fairly quiet complex though you will hear your neighbors upstairs if they're there - not unusual in older condo complexes. Great location for the north shore and you can get anywhere on the island in under a couple hours. A must-do is walk the path below the balcony to the beautiful beach; did it on a Saturday morning, only 5 other people there. Only complaint I'd have is lack of A/C, gets very warm during the day even with the portable fans. Not much going on in Princeville (good grocery store, couple restaurants in the shopping center). Good place for sunset is the Happy Talk Lounge or Wikipizza at the Hanelei Bay Resort. Town of Hanalei has beautiful organized beach. Many other great beaches along the north shore, but many are too rough for swimming. A few with short steep hikes to get to - Secret Beach my personal favorite. Town of Hanalei really the only one of any interest that I found on the whole island tbh. Be prepared for high prices just about everywhere you go but that's to be expected. All in all, if I ever return to Kauai I would not hesitate to book this condo again.

best kauai getaway
Thus unit is located in a nice little corner overlooking the mountains and the ocean. The room is clean and with enough space for 3 ppl. The Sealodge is cute and quiet. All of Princeville is great, but the best of Kauai is outside the resort villas. It does not have AC, but with the breeze and fans the nights are chill.

nice spot on the northshore
A little outdated but no complaints. Comfy bed, clean, really well equipped kitchen, quiet complex. Nice overlook bench by the Managers Building. Just a note that if you're booking thinking you'll have beach access via the trail, the trail requires some rock climbing to get to the water and is moderately hard.

best vacation ever
I'm not exaggerating. This was a solo trip and it was great. The condo was everything I needed and wanted for my stay. It was nice having a secluded beach a short walk walk away. Cooler, beach mat, beach chair we're unexpected touches that made my stay more comfortable. While I did not cook, it was great to have the option with a very well equipped kitchen. This was not my first stay at Sealodge and won't be my last.

comfortable, clean, good location
We really enjoyed our stay here. The check-in/check-out experience was easy, the unit was clean, well-stacked, sun-filled, and cozy. Princeville is an easy drive to Hanalei and Ha'ena State Park and lots of other spots along the north shore. I would love to stay again one day.

cozy stay
We enjoyed staying here, and it was our third time in this affordable unit. It was clean and had a cooler, snorkel equipment, boogie, and an umbrella. It is in a nice location. We enjoyed eating at Hanalei Gourmet and Chicken in a Barrel, both had very good affordable food. Hiking the first two miles of the Kalalua trail is a must to see the beautiful views of the island. Snorkel at Anini beach to see the turtles

wonderful
Great place! The sea lodge is a good location with grocery and shopping close by. A trail is on property with a 10-minute hike to a secluded beach. Great ocean view from property overlook. The only thing was foot thumping above us, kind of annoying till we got used to it. I recommend and would stay here again. It is much slower and comfortable in Princeville, north shore, vs Poipu area. There are 3 charcoal grills across parking lot from pool. More important B-9 had great pots and pans, SO NICE for cooking, Thank You.
Everything was great overall.

kauai happiness
This was a lovely rental with a tropical themed decor. We really enjoyed having a kitchen well suited for preparing meals (pans, knives, work spaces, etc.). Lots of light, air circulation options, private lanai, beach equipment, nearby bench for watching the moon rise over the ocean, and a 20 minute walk on a moderately difficulty trail to a
nearby beach.

beautiful & quiet
I really liked the location. There is a path to the ocean which is convenient. I didn't like the parking situation. A very tight lot for many cars.Overall, a good experience staying there.

fantastic location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sealodge. It was a great location and the grounds are beautiful. Very close to tunnels Beach and the Nepali coast. The rental has all the accommodations you need and was well kept. We’ve been to all the islands and Kauai is now our favorite.

wonderful stay on the north shore of kauai
The condo Sealodge B9 is in a beautiful, quiet location away from the main road. The complex overlooks the cliff with gorgeous sunrises. The unit was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need including beach chairs, snorkels, cooler etc. The only issue during my stay was that the pool was closed due to maintenance. During the winter months the best beach for swimming and snorkeling on the north shore is Anini Beach. Gorgeous setting and views you will find at Hanalei Bay and Haena Beach park. KVR team is great to work with and I have been booking through them several times now and will do so again.

Beautiful location, very comfortable apartment with lots of thoughtful extras. No air-con, but not too hot if fans/blinds/ventilation used appropriately.

Easy check in. Management company was very helpful in answering any questions. Immediate response via email. Condo was clean and had all necessary items for us. Princeville is a little secluded, but only 2miles from Hanalei. Management company also gave us a heads up on road work which we appreciated.

dream living
The condo was perfectly appointed. My first 21 days will never be forgotten. I did daily walks down to princeville beach..... rain or shine.... I was able to prepare my own meals and enjoy my view of the water. So many beautiful clear nights ..... and those late evening showers were like the island was washing itself too shown all the beautiful healthy life that surrounds the island.
I want to thank the wonderful women of Kauai vacation rentals... you ladies are terrific ❤️
