A wide choice of beautiful sights, activities, restaurants and shops is nearby, some within walking distance and many just a short drive from this cottage. Golfers will appreciate being near two Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed courses: Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course and Kiahuna Golf Course.

Other nearby activities include horseback riding, tropical gardens tours, sailing, fishing, scuba diving, surfing, seasonal swimming and snorkeling.

This sweet little property is just what we hoped it would be. It is decorate in old Hawaiian charm with all the modern things you will need. Just a block from Poipu beach. The home was fully equipped with any and everything we would need for our stay. We even had the chance to meet the owner and he brought us fresh bananas and fruit! Would stay here again!!

To most charming host, welcome basket and very attentive and answered all our questions and gave advice on all major topics as good restaurants, farmers market etc. Our son had great surfing on Poipu. We were very happy here, was great for our family of 3.

Our 10 month old daughter enjoyed baby beach and playground tremendously.

Dolphins at the beach in the early morning, plenty to explore, peaceful days to nights.

Rice cooker, books and coffee grinder was great to have.

We've enjoyed the Lanai immensely, the kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels.

We liked the cleanliness, comfortable bed and quiet neighborhood of this home.

Everything was perfect!!

We came to Kauai because my dad wanted us to come and he sent us here.

The highlights of our trip were the beaches, the lanai, Luau, Fern Grotto and dinner at Brennecke's Restaurant.

When planning our trip to Kauai, we specifically looked for a vacation rental that was not a hotel or condo, but a free-standing home. We could not have been happier with our choice of the Plantation Cottage. It is located a couple of blocks from one of the most beautiful beaches in Kauai. Staying in the cottage gave us the true feeling of what it must be like to live in Kauai. Shortly after our arrival, we met the owner of the cottage, who could not have been more warm and welcoming. He gave us valuable suggestions about places to eat and sights to see during our stay. One of the fondest memories is of the many birds that sing from the trees on the property, which is landscaped with many tropical plants and flowers. There is even an outdoor shower constructed of lava rock. The house provided more than enough space for the two of us. The kitchen has all the tools necessary to prepare a meal and the porch is the perfect spot to enjoy your breakfast! We were genuinely sad to leave after our eight day stay. Yes, we are already talking about returning to the plantation cottage and Kauai.

Although we'd stayed on the North Shore several times, this was our first time in Poipu, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Great location and all the amenities we've come to expect in a Kauai Vacation Rentals property. Mahalo for a wonderfully relaxing trip, possibly the best yet.

Great spot, comfortable cottage.Tropical showers, friendly owners and great for beach, bicycling, dining. It was a great location for the beach for the grandkids.This is a "real" Plantation Cottage (1920's) and a 100 year old Monkey Pod Tree.
