perfect hanalei home
We had a wonderful stay at this home. It is a quick four minute walk to Hanalei Bay. It is soooo nice. The beds were comfortable and it came with fans to move the air through the home. We loved this home and would definately stay here again.

wonderful stay in hanalei!
This house is in a wonderful location close to everything in Hanalei. It was very clean and comfortable. When we left, we all missed hearing the roosters!

love it!
The charm of the older beach home coupled with the ideal location of being across the beach makes this a rare find. The house has great history adding to the feel of it being an actual "Hawaiian home". We stayed over the Fourth of July and were treated to some great fireworks done by other vacationers on the beach which were easily the best I have experienced. We really love how everything including shopping and eating are well within walking distance. This home offers a lot of privacy for those who are looking to escape. Everybody loved using the outdoor shower!!

Had a fabulous vacation at the Pauole House in Kauai. Very clean, well maintained and great guest amenities. Excellent location and easy walk to the beach and to the quaint town of Hanalei Bay. Great communication with property management staff from the start.

Great little house with a big yard and great view. Close to beach, shopping, and restaurants. Lots of amenities and supplies available. Super clean!

great stay in hanalei
Great place to stay and enjoy Hanalei! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and a walking path to the beach across from the house. No AC but it didn’t bother us with all the fans provided. Quiet home except for the roosters, but that’s the Kauai charm! Had all the necessities including beach chairs and umbrella.

great location to serve as a launchingspot for our family
Nice place close to the Hanalei Bay and to the town. Fairly well outfitted but place only had 1.5 bathe which I'd a stretch for our family of 6. We utilized the 2 outdoor showers a lot. Not a major deal in Han as lri but the house doesn't have AC or a dishwasher. Wish they had a few more toys like boogie boards or surfboards. We did enjoy their lawn area and volleyball. Thank you!

family of 5 vacation - north shore
This was part 2 of our vacation in Kauai - first half was in South Shore (Pane Road Home). This house was smaller - air flow not as good (hot in the day) - but the views were absolutely amazing! Just across the street was a beach access to probably the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. Fun coffee shops for morning, great dinner choices at night. The place was super clean and everything we needed (did I mention the views!). I would stay at both places again and rent from Kauai Vacation Rentals!!

perfect for our family!
We are a family of four and absolutely loved staying at the Pauole home. It is just a short walk down to the beautiful path leading to the beach. I could not stop taking pictures of all the beautiful flowers on that path. We loved the convenience of being to walk back and forth from the house to the beach. The sunsets were so amazing! The walk to town was pretty easy too. The best of both worlds!

best location in kauai!
Our family had a wonderful time in Hanalei. This house is just across the street from beach trail and a 5 min walk to town. Quiet, safe and beautiful. The perfect place for a relaxing vacation

secret haven
We have stayed in many homes in Kauai and this home was our favorite. We prefer to experience real life on the island and this home offered nothing but that. No air conditioning, no problem. Just walk across the street and take a dip in the ocean! Duh! The home was very comfortable, inviting and clean. The location is top notch. For our family of 4 it was perfect. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with our family. And for sharing your families story of this lovely abode! The management team is super communicative and friendly. We will be back!

perfect location, tired house
We had a wonderful trip. I would stay here again but if you want something fancy this house is not for you. You are getting one of the best prices in Hanalei and there's a reason for it. The house needs work. The Mattresses are new but the rest of the house is not and because the house isn't raised it can get hot because there isn't much breeze.

at home in hanalei
A wonderful time was had by all. The Pauole home is so cozy & comfortable. It really feels like home. Everything one would need for a relaxing & enjoyable stay. Plenty of room (inside & out) for families to have a fantastic vacation. And the best part is how close it is to the beach (the beach path is steps away) & close enough to town, you can leave your car at the house & just walk whenever you want to head into town. Quiet & peaceful (not to mention the roosters & chirping birds to start your day in the traditional Hanalei way;). This our go to place to stay when visiting Kauai!

modest and marvelous
Modest but comfortable and clean house. Great location. Everything worked. Roosters crowed all night (as they do in Hanalei), but halfway thru our stay the next door neighbors had someone remove a flock (?) of them nesting trees/brush, which quieted things down (thank you, neighbors!). We've rented in Hanalei many, many times and would return to Pauole.

wonderful place to stay

can’t wait to stay here again!
Absolutely loved our stay at Pauole! Everything was clean, kitchen was well stocked including some seasonings and even Tupperware which was very helpful. The views from the backyard are amazing, you can see waterfalls out the window, and helpful having the yard gated so kids can safely run around. Boogie boards, umbrella, 6 beach chairs, and even floats and sand toys were available. Location can’t be beat. Walkway to the beach is right across the street, and it’s a less crowded part of the beach since the public parking lot isn’t too close by. Communication was great, quick responses to any questions I had along the way, and when the road to Hanalei was shut down on our arrival day due to flooding, the vacation rental company reached out to us to offer an alternate accommodation in princeville, and stayed in communication after hours so we weren’t stranded. Would absolutely stay here again, and definitely will rent through Kauai vacation rentals in the future!

This house, while sparse, is so perfectly located that it is a not-to-be-missed rental. While being incredibly close to the beach, it's also a super close walk to town. I wish I could be there right now.

The house is clean and comfortable. It is in a great location with access to the beach right across the street. The beds are comfortable and all the appliances work well. The outdoor shower is very nice. There are indoor showers as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Pauole house in Hanalei. Wonderful location with beach access less than 100 steps from the house. Backyard was extremely spacious with amazing views that we will never forget. We have already decided that there is nowhere else we would consider staying when traveling to Kauai. The one thing that could be improved is the queen mattress/box spring in the secondary bedroom. Other than that, everything was perfect

This house is basic but comfortable and as clean as you can expect for an old beach house. Furnishings could use updating, but the space was perfect for us. Two twin beds in the side bonus room allowed all 3 kids to have their own bed. Great yard with no house behind and view of mountains. Grab an avocado from the tree if you can reach it. Location can't be beat, cool beach access path right across the street 2 minutes to the sand. 5 minute walk going the other way to get to restaurants/shops. There were beach chairs, umbrella and 2 boogie boards. Kauai vacation rentals were responsive to our requests. Would stay here again.

wonderful! definitely returning.
Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. We loved the house and really felt like we were locals for the time we were there. The location is incredible, across the street from the beach and a block and a half to all the shops and we woke to a symphony of birds every morning. So restorative.
The house is really well appointed with outdoor toys and chairs, kitchen with many cooking things and tools, etc. We loved how the house is more original to the town with the slatted glass windows that allowed a lovely breeze through. We all loved the outdoor shower. Everything was so clean.
I loved walking to the coffee shops every morning for breakfast and greeting the locals.
I want to live here forever.

Loved the location - literally across the street from the path to the beach, and a quick walk to town. Didn't need a car the entire visit. The house was older but perfect. The privacy in the yard is amazing with a beautiful view.

fantastic location, ok house
Great location - just a few minutes walk to the beach or downtown Hanalei. Friendly and helpful staff at rental co. The house was comfy and good sized but worn out and grungy in places, some supplies weren’t included, and we had some electrical problems.

This house is so perfect. Just a short walk to the most beautiful beach on the island. House has old school charm which we loved. Lots of space, we had 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The twin beds on the "lanai" were perfect for them and it has an attached bathroom.

hanalei heaven
Wonderful stay in Hanalei! Just what we wanted for our needs. Not fancy but everything works and it's a very practical home for life by the beach. We particularly liked the outdoor showers, lanai, extra beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards and other leftovers that guests have donated. Don't expect luxury living as the home itself has a practical and basic interior. Nothing wrong with it at all but just something you should know in case you like more luxury. The biggest plus of this property is its location with a path to the beach right across the street. Look forward to coming again and enjoying the home, sizeable yard and 'Scott' the Rooster who patrols the garden and gets you up early for your day.

great location 17 steps from property edge to beach access 166 paces to beach.had all the beach accessories needed for a good time-chairs umbrella grill outside showers for sand removal and a clean house.views of mountains waterfalls and the ocean were great.little over 1/4 mile walk to town with food and groceries available even without using a car very do-able.
