perfect vacation

My wife and I have been staying at various condos at Pali Ke Kua for the past 23 years. We really enjoyed our stay at this unit and would 100% come back. Zero issues with any appliances, furniture etc. Awesome view.
Possible updating considerations would be screen for the front door as most of the other units have them. Two Large Costco Umbrellas and two replacement beach chairs.

best view on the island!
We had a wonderful 8 day stay. The property provided everything we needed and was exactly as described. Beach towels and chairs, even a small cooler. There were plenty of fans for cooling the rooms off. I would suggest bringing a small countertop fan for use in the upstairs bathroom if you are visiting in the warmer months, as it was quite warm getting ready in here. We would definitely stay here again. The view is is absolutely stunning!

the view!
Booked this 100% for the view- plus we needed to bedrooms and one bedroom had to have 2 beds for each of our teens. Loved the vaulted ceilings and upstairs room with door for bedroom vs. loft. Booking was easy- the company was very helpful and nice. Would highly suggest getting tall chairs for outside so you can sit and enjoy view w/o having railing in way. Also would have loved AC has the breeze through didn’t always seem to us right- it got very hot. Great walking distance to 2 beaches- 1 paved and one very steep with ropes. Both were a bit challenging, but were pretty dry and safe when we went down. The grounds are beautiful. Tried hot tub- was lovely. Restaurant right above- seemed popular but we never felt like eating pizza! Wicker living room chairs were a bit oversized for the room - but not a huge deal. 2 little green anole lizards visited us quite frequently on the balcony- super cute! Lots of birds and lush plants and trees everywhere and lovely view of Sleeping Giant. Sunsets were superb. Would have liked some start up toiletries like shampoo and body wash. Felt the price was a bit high overall for the unit- but it was spring break- so everything was crazy expensive. We’ve also stayed at The Cliffs and really liked it there as well. Easy parking, comfortable beds, clean, welcome cookies (yay!) -we would definitely stay again! But I hope they’ll have high seats for outside and maybe at least 1 A/C unit next time :)

great view, well equipped.
PKK 216 was perfect for our group of 4. Probably the best view of the whole complex. Very well appointed with kitchen necessities, beach chairs, cooler, and more. Hardwoods throughout and powerful ceiling fans keep the breeze blowing through. I have stayed at PKK 5 times over the last 20 years, and 216 was our best stay yet. Highly recommend!

beautiful, better than photos condo near hanalei beach
We loved our stay in this cheerful, gorgeous condo in northern Kauai! The views are amazing, and the furnishings and amenities are perfect for traveling vacationers like us, who can’t bring all our vacation supplies to Hawaii. The condo is stocked with beach towels and folding chairs, as well as paper products and even coffee filters. Beautiful, peaceful, convenient, perfect!

We stayed in Princeville - Kauai for 15 days. The condo on the beach was absolutely beautiful. Right next to one of my favorite golf courses. Every day we would sit out on the patio having a cocktail and watch the sun set. Absolutely amazing! We plan to go back again soon and we will rent the same condo. It was PERFECT

beautiful island vacation
We love our vacation on Kauai! Pali Ke Kua provides a relaxing environment with some of the best views on the island. A few upgrades to PKK 216 would enhance the stay. For example: a king size bed in the downstairs bedroom, more comfortable furniture in the living room (it's outdoor furniture that is not very comfortable to lounge in for longer periods), and a bistro table and chairs on the lanai to see above the railing while sitting (the view is too good to only look at the railing). Other than that we found the unit to be well-appointed with basic kitchen items beach towels, chairs, a cooler, and boogie boards. We love PKK!

pali ke kua delight!
I loved my experience staying at Pali Ke Kua for 12 days on my recent trip to Kauai. Everything about it was wonderful. The condo was nicely furnished and the cupboards and closets were filled with all necessary supplies and more. The condo was exceptionally clean and orderly. The grounds of the property were inviting. The real highlights were the spectacular view and the sounds of the surf from the ocean below the cliffs. Both were mesmerizing. I hope to be able to stay here in future visits to the island.

a blissful kauai getaway!
We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a truly amazing vacation in Kauai at this condo and it exceeded all our expectations. Nestled along the pristine shoreline - the view of the coastline was the absolute main event! Whether we were lounging on the balcony or enjoying a cozy evening indoors, the picturesque scenery of the ocean and views of the Na Pali coast served as a constant reminder of the tranquil beauty that surrounded us.
The condo itself was clean. We appreciated the attention to detail, as the condo was equipped with modern appliances, comfortable beds, and basic amenities that enhanced our stay.
Location plays a crucial role in any our vacations, and this rental condo truly hit the jackpot. We enjoyed the convenience of stepping out of our door and walking down a nearby path to Hideaways Beach! Keep in mind this beach is not necessarily for lounging and relaxing, BUT is a fantastic snorkeling spot!
The local area also offered a variety of attractions and dining options as we were within 10 minutes of Hanalei Bay. From the breathtaking views to the condo amenities, our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. It served our family of four well (15 & 11 yr old).

perfect accommodation
We spent as much time as possible on the lanai! Even in the rain the view is spectacular. The condo itself is contemporary and comfortable. We will definitely be back! One suggestion: It would be great if Pali Ke Kua could get some bbqs for tenants to use.

what a view!
The view from this condo is spectacular. We watched the sunrises and sunsets from the lanai. Each was different and each was beautiful. The condo is comfortable and nicely decorated and and the kitchen is well-equipped. The grounds of the complex is like a garden. This is a perfect place to spend your time in Kauai.

beautiful view!
Our favorite thing in the condo was sitting on the back porch with our watching the surfers and looking at the beautiful scenery. We also liked the privacy of having the two bedrooms and two full baths on different floors. Without AC it was a little uncomfortable at times during the day but sleeping was fine. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kauai.

exactly as depicted
we stayed in unit 216 in mid March. it was exactly as represented on the website and in the reviews. The view was just incredible. The condo was probably the cleanest unit we have ever stayed in and it was incredibly well furnished. NO AC as seems to be customary and it got warm a couple times when the winds died down but never uncomfortable and the evenings were perfect. The only problem with the unit is that it was so nice you never wanted to leave.

views that can't compete
This was our first trip to Kauai and we were blown away with the beautiful island. Pali Ke Kua has the best views on the island. So nice to wake up to the Na Pali Coast Mountains. Overall breathtaking! The highlight of the condo was the location and the view. Walking trails, private beaches and a nice pool with a hot tub. This location is great.

beautiful view from the lanai
We have stayed in Princeville several time but this was our first time at Pali Ke Kua #216. We have 2 requirements, a view over the ocean and a hot tub. We got what we wanted with Pali Ke Kua #216. There were only two things that would have made our stay better and that would be if they had a blender and if the dishwasher had been operational. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed (except the blender). They provided a good small cooler and 4 beach chairs which we used almost everyday. I would book one of the ocean view units at Pali Ke Kua again.

great view and nice upgrades
We have stayed in similar units at Pali Ke Kua several times. The views are amazing and the units are good size for a rental. 216 has nice upgrades but could be better stocked with consumables (maybe this is a covid thing?), and the dishwasher detergent dispenser didn't dispense the detergent therefore the dishes didn't get cleaned and we continuously discovered dirty dishes in the cupboards. In addition, the unit could be cleaner.

great sunsets
This place has great sunsets and an amazing view. The beach is also an awesome, more quiet beach with trees and shade (but not as much a swimming or snorkeling beach due to the surf). It's conveniently located near the bridge to Hanalei and Anini Beach. The only issue I had was with the wifi and internet connection which tended to really slow down and become erratic in the evenings. Also, I would recommend visiting at other times than August, which can be hotter and more humid despite the fans. The place is also a little smaller than I expected, but otherwise clean, comfortable, with enough amenities and also a responsive and helpful property mgmt staff.

best view in town!
We loved Pali Ke Kua 216. Our 2nd story view overlooked Hanalei Bay and was framed by what is called Bali Hai, the beginning of the famed Nepali Coast. We never tired of looking at it, and it changed all day and night with the light and the weather and the hundreds of stars overhead. We would definitely come back to this unit. Everything was fresh and clean and in great condition, although I had trouble with the downstairs double mattress— too saggy for my bad back. Everything else, great. Kauai Vacation Rentals were very easy to deal with and immediately dealt with the two small issues we had. The complex hot tub was lukewarm when we arrived, we called KVR and by the next morning, it was fixed.
