We had a great time in October in Kauai! It is starting to get cool at our home, but Kauai was sunny and warm and soooo relaxing and beautiful.

beautiful home!
The day we arrived I received a call while still on the plane that the air conditioning was broken. Welcome to Hawaii! We were told it wouldn’t be fixed during our stay and were provided extra fans. The lower level was extremely hot where my kids slept. That said, after several calls back and forth, we were compensated a percentage of what we paid for our stay. Which is all we wanted since we specifically booked this house for air conditioning (it’s somewhat challenging to find in Kauai). Aside from the no air, the house is gorgeous and clean. We understand these things happen, we just wanted to be taken care of for it. And we were. Eventually. Beautiful house in a beautiful location, well stocked. Thank you!

a perfect choice
Superb location in Princeville. Kitchen is a 10. Wonderful place for a family gathering or three couples. The gardens are spectacular. Just a very comfortable place to spend your Kauai days. Just minutes to beaches and Hanalei town.

amazing getaway!
Had a great stay at the spacious and well appointed Orchid Hale. It is a perfect home for a family getaway. My favorite part is the kitchen.

excellent home
We have been coming to Kauai for over 30 yrs. and this was the best equipped homes we have rented. Roosters were the only negative early mornings.

beautiful home and mountain view
We loved our stay in this beautiful home with amazing view. The open floor plan with floor to ceiling windows were wonderful for viewing the mountains and lush tropical garden trees and plants below. Kitchen had everything one could want for preparing meals. The owners have incredible artwork which we really enjoyed. Lisa and Krista were exceptionally helpful when a couple of very minor issues came up. We definitely hope to stay in this property again soon.

a week at orchid hale
This is a beautiful home set in a lovely yard with a view of the north shore mountains. I can see why it is called orchid hale (orchid house)... there were so many orchids growing on the plumeria trees around this house. Orchid Hale is spacious and comfortable. The artwork and colors in the house are fantastic. In spite of entering into the rainy season (mid-November), we spent most of our time at the beaches and hiking but knew we had a a lovely place to return to in the evening. We would definitely recommend this house to those who are looking for beauty and relaxation on the north shore.

beautiful, serene and a fantastic place to stay!
This home was perfect! We needed the size to be what it was to accommodate our family. My husband and I were upstairs in the master and my sister’s family were downstairs. My sister and niece had their own bathroom and my brother in law and nephew had their own bathroom. They had their own living room downstairs to accommodate their family needs when we (upstairs) wanted to go to bed early. We used the backyard for frisbee and catching footballs because it was so big and spacious. We used the kitchen and the laundry since it was a 9 day stay. Other than the A/C not being able to get fixed during our stay, it was such the perfect house and will definitely stay there again. Kauai vacation rentals staff were wonderful.

a hawaiian dream house
The memories of a wonderful vacation were enhanced by staying in this beautiful home! This gorgeous home gives so much attention to the artwork, the decor, the amenities, and the specific instructions for properly operating the AC and the many lights, drawing shades, disposal of trash, etc.. The owners of this special home rightfully take pride in this home’s beauty inside and out! We are grateful for the opportunity to have shared the warmth and comfort of Orchid Hale. This has been our 5th trip to Kauai and when we return, we will look no further than to call the great people at KVR and ask that they book us again at Orchid Hale!

You guys truly made this stay amazing. The directions in the house helped direct us. The house was very well kept, and the cleaning smell was so minimal that it didn’t have any effect with my wife. The communication with you guys was amazing, and we had a level of expectation that you guys wouldn’t keep your word, but you proved us wrong and we were so thankful to be wrong.

great home in great location
We had a lovely time at this home in Princeville. It was clean, spacious, and the layout was perfect for our family of 6. We were able to walk to shopping, a small farmer’s market and a beach with great snorkeling near the One Resort.
We would definitely rent this home again.

omg! wow-zers!
We went in with reasonable expectations. But when we opened the front door, we were WOWed!!! It is unbelievable. What a beautiful home. So much attention to detail, from the artwork, the furniture, everything. The layout was incredible. Our first 4 days of our trip was nothing but non stop rain, and this was the perfect home for being “stuck”. The gourmet kitchen made you want to cook! Our kids loved the backyard, as did I. This felt like a $3-$5m home. And it probably is! Sub-Zero refrig and other high end appliances. And the best part, your own garage! Most owners don’t give you access to the garage. These owners do! Mahalo! Made it easy to get into the home with it it getting rained on. And your garage is impeccable. We also enjoyed doing some washes of the kids clothes the high- end washer and dryer in the garage. The beds... one word. Heavenly. Best sleep of my life. My wife’s and kids didn’t want to get out of bed!!! And the floor to ceiling windows with the majestic view of the Hanalei mountains with waterfalls, and the most serene backyard with this amazing canopy tree.
Can’t say enough. We will return. No question.

perfect!
I cannot say enough good things about this house. It is very large with plenty of room to spread out, clean, beautiful, and has everything you need for your stay (except shampoo and body soap). The yard is gorgeous with so many flowers and fruit trees. The neighborhood is centrally located and so very nice. So many places to walk or jog. You are just a few minutes from a grocery store, gas, and shops/restaurants. Tons of beach supplies including chairs, umbrellas, mats, etc. The kitchen is so well stocked - we were able to host 13 people for a post wedding dinner easily. The master bedroom is upstairs separate from the two bedrooms downstairs. Each level has its own living area and there is an office downstairs. The A/C works perfectly- no hot spots. We would book this house again for sure. It just made our visit to paradise even better!!!

hawaiian heaven
Kauai is our favorite place in the world. We love this island and her people. We first came in 1998 and we try to come back every year. We enjoyed days on Anini beach or. Hanalei bay. In the evenings we had wonderful meals at the Dolphin, Tiki Aniki , and Happy Talk, 3 of our favorite spots.
Orchid Hale is a well appointed home located in Princeville. The only thing previous visitors did not show the gas grill much love,it was pretty sad. The dryer was on the fritz, the homeowners were working on getting a new one.
These things did not detract from the rest of the home or the beautiful well maintained property it sits on.
This is a great rental for families. We had our almost 2 year old granddaughter with us, she loved playing in the yard and the park just up the road. There also is a community pool and tennis courts for you to enjoy.
The house also had beach chairs, towels, sand toy, yard games and more!
This home and island has so much to offer we would highly recommend it.

This place was absolutely amazing. cozy. the kitchen was a dream. plenty of space. everything was clean and in good condition. Loved having beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and games. This is a house worth renting

amazing house!!
We really liked this house. We loved that only the master bedroom is upstairs and the other two are downstairs. We so enjoyed being able to walk to Queen's bath and Hideaway beach. It's a short drive to Foodland and Hanalei Bay. Our whole family would recommend this place. (I only wish we didn't have to drop the key off before our early morning flight. )

gorgeous house
This was a gorgeous house, like you were in the middle of a rain forest with all the windows and birds and plants outside. Easy walk to the pool and tennis courts which were literally across the street. We spent the day hiking all the nearby trails and beaches then shaved ice and home for the evening . Very relax full vacation with family . Will visit again.

spacious home with great views
I'm all about the views and this house has a great one. Would have enjoyed a bigger patio, but it worked okay. The kitchen was great for cooking and plenty of seating for family dinners. House was spacious for family to spread out and air-conditioning cut the hot humid days. Great for evening walks to enjoy the sunset!!

What a wonderful home! The location and views were fantastic! The home was well laid out, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need! The best part, though, was the absolutely LOVELY garden!!! We will be back!

amazing housse.
This house is amazing! It is spacious and has all the amenities we could hope for on our trip. We loved the large gourmet kitchen that was really well equipped and organized and enjoyed the views of the beautiful garden during our meals. The kids had so much fun in the outdoor space playing - there was even a croquet game! We also enjoyed playing tennis and using the pool steps away from the house in the morning or afternoon. The location was very convenient to all the areas we wanted to visit in Princeville / Hanalei. Perfect for morning walks either down to the beach near or up to the local town center / park. The beaches, such as Anini and Tunnels, or local restaurants were a short car ride away. We could not be happier with our stay and would recommend this property to anyone. It is definitely on our return list in our future.
