Nihilani 18B is in a lovely plantation style 2 story town-home located in a private and tranquil environment. This convenient Princeville location is walking distance to the golf course, and near beaches, tennis courts, walking paths, shops, and restaurants.

This spacious plantation style town-home has a 1874 square foot floor plan with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, with a two car garage, and can easily accommodate up to 6 people in style. The living room is tastefully decorated with a comfortable sectional and an efficient open floor plan. The lanai that is attached to the living room has lots of seating for relaxing, playing games or just enjoying the surrounding tropical plants.

The fully equipped kitchen with all granite counter tops has all the amenities of home. Stay in and create your own meal to enjoy on the lanai or have a sit down dinner at the large dining table that seats 6 adults comfortably. Check out the local Sunshine Markets for fresh produce to complete your culinary creations.

There are 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms and a den with a desk upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, a large chest of drawers, comfy reading nook, a lanai and full bath with shower and separate sunken tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed with an attached lanai and the third bedroom also has a queen bed. The second and third bedrooms both connect to a full bathroom.

The plantation style complex offers a newly tiled swimming pool and hot tub. If you enjoy grilling, the barbecue area is nearby and close to the swimming pool.

Though air conditioning is available, it is not even necessary. Just open the doors and sliders, and the ceiling fans and breezy trade winds provide natural cooling.

An attached two car garage offers convenient direct access to the condo.

Nearby activities include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, hiking, horseback riding, zip lining, shopping, tennis and golf.

Five friends came to Kauai to hike, snorkel, and kayak the beautiful shores and hills of Kauai. This location was good for us. Our highlight was kayaking the Napali coast and Princeville was just 15 minutes away from our day long journey. The facilities in and out of the home were awesome. Pool for families, pathways for walks, and a grocery store five minutes away. My only complaint is all the bedrooms are upstairs and as a bilateral amputee I prefer not climbing stairs to the bedrooms. A washer and dryer is also available in the home. The dishwasher did not work, but we enjoyed washing our dishes by hand. Great kitchen and beautiful home.

This property is exactly as advertised. A beautiful 3 bdrm unit in the picturesque Kauai north shore. The unit is maintained well, clean, and all rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds. The kitchen is decked out with top end appliances and all items which would be needed for a longer stay.We loved the access to the outdoor grills and pool within the Nihiliani resort. However, the true draw to this unit is its proximate location to so many of the incredible places on Kauai. Anini beach is a few minute drive, Hanalei Bay is about 15 mins south. Easy access to the Napali Coast (if you can get a parking permit) and many near by hiking trails.Overall a terrific experience. Would book again!

Before COVID we made annual visits to Hawaii and usually stayed in Princeville at Nihilani. Makani is a great floor plan. However we would not stay in 18B again. The owners locked off the MBR closet for their personal storage, leaving nowhere to hang clothes. At least a wardrobe should have been provided. None of the 3 BRs had a TV, although there was one in the small upstairs alcove. There was no remote garage door opener making entry and exit very inconvenient. Prominently displaying bikes and surfboard in garage and then declaring them offlimits to tenants is at the least rude.

Cleanliness has always been one the most important criteria for our housing during vacation. Nihilani 18B was exceptionally clean. The images in their description are NOT stock photos - Nihilani 18B really is as described, maybe even better. While true that the tradewinds on the north side of Kauai are sufficient that you may not need A/C, the air can get a little bit still at night time in the islands, especially right after a passing rain. The A/C was very helpful and was very efficient in cooling down the house.

We noticed that the owners did not spare any expense in their furnishings. Little things like GE profile microwaves and Subzero refrigerators showed that there was care and attention to detail.

The berber carpet and hardwood flooring was perfect for the environment we were in. Kauai with all it's rain can get humid, and you wouldn't want to get that musty smell that pile carpeting can have. Nihilani 18B was not musty at all. It smelled cleaned.

We found several times during our vacation. using the term - "We will do this ..etc... when we get 'home' ". Home referring to Nihilani 18B, and then correcting ourselves because it wasn't our home, it was a rental. But it genuinely did feel like home while we were on vacation.

Queen's bath was only a one mile walk away (probably a little less) and Anini beach 5 to 10 minute drive away. When we drove out of the Nihilani complex and saw the waterfalls coming off Namolokama every morning, it was nothing short of breathtaking. Amazing stay and thanks for the memories of a lifetime!

Really enjoyed our time in Princeville in March. This unit was spacious, with a well stocked kitchen. The king and queen beds were comfortable and we appreciated the good quality bedding and towels. The day beds would be better for younger children than older teens . Everyone was happy to have boogie boards,beach chairs and coolers to use. The air conditioning was a plus when we needed it. Kauai vacation rentals is a good company to work with.
