very easy and nice stay in kauai's north shore
We've stayed in several VRBOs in Princeville and this is one of the nicest. The home is spotless with nice amenities - they provide plenty of items that other rentals sometimes skimp on (toilet paper, paper towels, etc). The washing machine and some of the beach chairs probably need replacing at this point, but other than that, everything was great. We would recommend this property and stay again.

nihilani 18b review
Our family of 3 adults and 2 teenagers stayed for 5 days. Condo was very clean, furniture and beds were very comfortable, and nice outdoor tables for eating meals outside. Air conditioning was much appreciated as was the swimming pool for the grandchildren to play in. Our only issue was the condo has a physical house key, not an electronic key like other vacation houses that we have stayed at on the North Shore. We worried about losing a key when we went to the beach, so we would often hide the door key in the plants by the front door. We appreciated KVR's quick response to our questions about the house and neighborhood.

We had a fabulous time at our Princeville condo!! It was exceptionally clean, and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, lunches and drinks!! The appliances were new and very clean!! Great storage throughout. The pool area was pretty and easy to access!! Great location for walking and sooo close to all amenities!!

fantastic place!
Loved the 3 bdrm villa. Very spacious and pleasant. Pool and hot tub was lovely. Very pretty foliage around the lanai that provided pleasant ambiance and privacy from sidewalk and street. The only small criticism I would give is the door between the 2 smaller bedrooms to the joining bathroom was a sliding type door and didn’t close well- disturbed the people in the room at night. Would def stay here again !

princeville friends and family vacation
Having never been to Kaui we wanted to stay in different locations. We made Princeville our first stop. The condo was easy to find even in the rain. Parking was the only issue. The garage is only big enough for two small to mid size vehicles. We did not know that and had upgraded to large SUV's. So one car did not fit in the garage. You need to park in a vistior parking spot a short walk away. By the weekend those were always full so we had to park one car at the pool. Other than that the condo was beautiful and well equipped. Beds were comfy and the unit was very quiet and clean.
We would have preferred to have one room have twin beds so one of us slept on the couch. A short drive to little towns , great beaches and lots of great places to eat or just get coffee.
After long days we relaxed by the pool. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained. The condo provided a great supply of beach gear so we kept our cars loaded up for daily trips. There was a hose right outside to wash off sand which was great. I would highly recommend this location if you want to experience the north shore and all it has to offer. There were five adults and other than the beds, the condo accomadated us all very comfortably. The main porch, sitting area was large and private. Also there were balcony sitting areas off two of the bedrooms that we really enjoyed to relax on private.
Overall a great place and we would rent again if we visit in the future.

great stay!
We loved our stay at Nihilani 18B! Townhouse was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable. The AC worked great! There were boogie boards, beach chairs, a wagon and umbrella in the garage to use. Would love to stay here again. KVR were great to deal with! Would definitely rent through them again.

3 week stay for family of 4
Our family of 4 (two daughters 8 and 12) had a lovely time. The condo was spacious, clean and well maintained and the process with the rental company was seamless. The location was central with a scenic walking path down to the 1 Hotel where we would enjoy the beach from time to time. The condo was accomodating and well stocked. The pool area was also quite nice and we made good use of the grills. The AC was necessary in August when it could be quite hot and humid. We would definitely recommend and rent again.

Amazing rental unit! Exceeded our expectations. Very clean unit and the property was also clean. The unit had air conditioning for when we needed to cool off, but we didn’t need it all the time. The pool was awesome- nice pool, hot tub and brand new Weber grills that we used several times. The unit had everything we needed- kitchen supplies, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, coolers. Beds were very comfortable. We will stay here when we come back. Additionally, the staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals were all helpful and very friendly. Just an overall amazing experience with this rental. Thank you all so much!!

kauai stay at princeville!
We were blown away at how wonderful the condo was! 4 Adults and an 8 year old stayed there. The condo waas most comfortable. We are used to staying closer to the airport, so this seemed a bit far away from things we were familiar with, but it was a lot of fun exploring things closer to Princeville. Our tme there passed way to quickly!

outstanding 3 bedroom home in nihilani, princeville, kauai
Five friends came to Kauai to hike, snorkel, and kayak the beautiful shores and hills of Kauai. This location was good for us. Our highlight was kayaking the Napali coast and Princeville was just 15 minutes away from our day long journey. The facilities in and out of the home were awesome. Pool for families, pathways for walks, and a grocery store five minutes away. My only complaint is all the bedrooms are upstairs and as a bilateral amputee I prefer not climbing stairs to the bedrooms. A washer and dryer is also available in the home. The dishwasher did not work, but we enjoyed washing our dishes by hand. Great kitchen and beautiful home.

Cleanliness has always been one the most important criteria for our housing during vacation. Nihilani 18B was exceptionally clean. The images in their description are NOT stock photos - Nihilani 18B really is as described, maybe even better. While true that the tradewinds on the north side of Kauai are sufficient that you may not need A/C, the air can get a little bit still at night time in the islands, especially right after a passing rain. The A/C was very helpful and was very efficient in cooling down the house.
We noticed that the owners did not spare any expense in their furnishings. Little things like GE profile microwaves and Subzero refrigerators showed that there was care and attention to detail.
The berber carpet and hardwood flooring was perfect for the environment we were in. Kauai with all it's rain can get humid, and you wouldn't want to get that musty smell that pile carpeting can have. Nihilani 18B was not musty at all. It smelled cleaned.
We found several times during our vacation. using the term - "We will do this ..etc... when we get 'home' ". Home referring to Nihilani 18B, and then correcting ourselves because it wasn't our home, it was a rental. But it genuinely did feel like home while we were on vacation.
Queen's bath was only a one mile walk away (probably a little less) and Anini beach 5 to 10 minute drive away. When we drove out of the Nihilani complex and saw the waterfalls coming off Namolokama every morning, it was nothing short of breathtaking. Amazing stay and thanks for the memories of a lifetime!

Really enjoyed our time in Princeville in March. This unit was spacious, with a well stocked kitchen. The king and queen beds were comfortable and we appreciated the good quality bedding and towels. The day beds would be better for younger children than older teens . Everyone was happy to have boogie boards,beach chairs and coolers to use. The air conditioning was a plus when we needed it. Kauai vacation rentals is a good company to work with.
