lae nani doesn’t disappoint...ever!
Shhhhh, Lae Nani is such a beautiful and somewhat private property, we want to keep it an exclusive secret. I appreciate the gated access, the impeccable grounds, the ocean views, access and keiki protected enclosure. Walkable to great dining and shopping. Each unit is unique to its owner’s design. I especially like a second bathroom to even the one bedrooms. We have this property on repeat!

beautiful hawaiian view!
Our vacation rental had such a beautiful view of the ocean and manicured grounds. It was a perfect beginning and ending point each day. There are many beautiful things to see on the island of Kauai. The rental, though not air conditioned was comfortable with the ocean breeze and provided what we needed including a pool. A well maintained and gorgeous area!

lovely condo
Beautifully situated on ocean bay. Great view from 2nd floor. Wonderful pool. Near good restaurants. Tastefully decorated. Not the highest end fixtures, but entirely satisfactory. Abel to get in early which was a plus, just called the mgt co and they called me back when clean and ready for entry.

a perfect place in a beautiful location!
A wonderful stay, the condo was perfect. Great view, clean, well appointed and ready for a sweet vacation. The complex is well located, and very pretty. The little beach is super for swimming and playing in waves. All in all a great place to stay.

lae nani 424 in wall
This is a very comfortable condo in a great location. There's a view of the ocean and a short walk across the landscaped grounds to the beach. The condo is very nicely decorated with attractive artwork and furniture. The rental management agency was very responsive when we contacted them about a couple of issues. The first was when we went to take showers and discovered that there was no soap or shampoo in either shower. We used bar soap from the sink and the management agency had a housekeeper deliver soap for the showers that afternoon, but I was informed that shampoo was considered a personal item and was not provided. First time I've encountered that at a rental. We purchased some shampoo and left it for the next guests. When we went to make dinner we discovered that there was no cutting board anywhere in the kitchen. Perhaps a previous guest had taken it to one of the outside grills and left it there. The agency had 2 cutting boards delivered in the afternoon. Neither of these issues really detracted from the experience of staying in such a great place.

The rental at La Nani 424 was great. I would not hesitate to rent there again. Two week in paradise. We used to have a timeshare in Princeville, and this was just as nice.

lovely views and great location
We absolutely loved our stay here. Nicely appointed condo with an amazing view of the ocean. Beautiful landscaping in the development. Quiet and friendly place. We loved the central location - fun in Kapaa and surrounding areas and easy drives to the Northern and Southern sides of the island. Only drawback is the hot water - it varies depending on time of day...

This apartment was perfect ! Well furnished, extremely good location, and overall, the lanai and view on the ocean was absolutly amazing !
No a/c but very well ventilated by opening the windows with mosquito nets.
What a feeling to fell asleep and wake up with the sound of the waves...
We definitely recommand it and we’ll come back !

beautiful view from this 2nd floor unit
My husband and I have stayed in Building 4 many times before. We love the cross breezes that occur with the bldg being parallel to the beach. Unit 424 has about 12 stairs since it’s on the 2nd floor. This unit has one small bathroom with a small shower and another bathroom off the bedroom with a tub/shower combo. KVR was very accommodating to our needs. Our 10 days were so relaxing. My husband golfed every day and I shopped at the little shopping center next door, sat in a beach chair down at the beach and swam in the ocean to cool down. From there I showered off sand and moved to the pool until it was time for a happy hour drink with my hubby.

love lae nani, unit is older w/wear and tear
I've stayed at the Lae Nani complex for many years, it's hard to beat the views and location on the island! This unit is worn - notably one of the bathroom showers is difficult to operate, there wasn't enough hot water for two showers (property management did stop by to adjust the temperature and it didn't impact water temp more than one day). This unit is priced lower than others nearby, if your budget can flex a bit, recommend looking at other options.

We had a very good time at that property. We were in for 7 days, and the condo had everything you could need all nice pots and pans and utensils if you wanted to cook something. It had a nice, big king bed, and two full bathrooms, which was really nice and the grounds were beautiful..

great winter getaway
Lae Nani is the perfect location for getting to all areas of the island. There are plenty of restaurants and stores close by. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. It was nice to have beach chairs and a small cooler for day trips. We had an issue with the kitchen drain and the property management company took care of the problem. The grounds are beautiful and the sound of the ocean was perfect. We look forward to returning.

beautiful views, ideally located.
The property itself and the location were very good - easy to reach from the airport. Easy access to a small beach, some bbqs and a pool. And the view was perfect. Clean and maintained well enough given age. Kitchen appliances all working and modern. Consumables supplied which was a nice touch. A small selection of beach toys were available, and there was ample towels. Within walking distance to Kayak tours, beaches, shops, bars, cafes, etc. Car park usually had space, though this could sometimes be contentious. Internet and TV worked well. Listing mentions no aircon, but didn't find this to be an issue. Decent bed and pillows. Comfortable property overall.
Booking and check in was a little fraught, with a light tenancy agreement, a deposit, and codes not supplied until the host was reminded. Main shower not working, which given the additional ensuite showerhead is about 5ft from the ground, wasn't ideal. Found it odd that the host would not know about this prior to our arrival given the cleaners would have presumably had cause to use it. Bedroom noise is frequent in the morning with no way to block it off due to the window type - recommend ear plugs.

anniversary getaway on the coconut in coast
Our vacation rental company did a great job to contact us prior to our arrival. They made sure we had all the information we need to get to and access the property. We arrived to find the property very clean, and just as described in the posting. Its location in the larger complex was perfect. A roomy one bedroom condo with red a great view of the ocean and beautiful landscaping. The condo was stocked with appliances, cookware linens, and towels. We were very happy with our accommodations and would not hesitate to book a return to this property.

beautiful oceanfront property
Excellent location for exploring Kauai. This condo is located close to restaurants and stores. Though the area is a populated one, the condo is situated in an oceanfront area and protected from traffic noise. The condo has a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals and a comfortable lanai, with a beautiful ocean view for enjoying those meals. Also, and much appreciated were the beach chairs, cooler for packing lunches, and beach umbrellas that the owner provided. We hope to return to Kauai another time and will definitely be returning to Lae Nani.

beautiful grounds, perfect location
We loved Lae Nani. The property is perfectly located in Kapaa for exploring all regions of Kauai. The grounds are spectacular and meticulously maintained. While we understand the owners may not be interested in fully upgrading the place (it does have a cool 70's vibe), performing some maintenance would be nice (peeling and dirty paint, cracked caulking, rusted fixtures). However we had everything we wanted/needed for our stay. SUPER nice having beach chairs, mats, umbrella, towels. Thank you!

a wonderful experience
We rented this 1BR for our niece and her husband while we were in another unit in the same complex. Our niece told us it was very nice, and from what I saw of it, had a well equipped kitchen, nice large MBR, and a good ocean view from the lanai. Two minor issues are the cipher door lock sometimes took four tries to get it open; the other issue was the description said there was a washer and dryer in the unit - there isn’t. Fortunately, our unit had them, so they did laundry there. The management company, KBR, refunded a portion of the rental price, which was nice of them. They’ve always been professional and courteous over the many years we’ve dealt with them. The complex pool is very nice, heated, but no slide for kids. There is some pool deck repair going on, but it didn’t affect pool use. There is a beach and a small protected area for little ones to get into calm ocean water or play in the sand. The location is convenient to Lydgate Park, which also has protected swim areas, near a really good bakery, a shopping center, and just a few miles from the airport, Lihue, and about a half hour from Poipu, an hour from Hanipepe. Another minor issue is that the car gate, pedestrian gate, swimming pool gate, as well as unit doors, all have cipher locks.

beautiful spot
We loved staying in this unit, the view and the grounds are beautiful. The bathroom needs an upgrade, the faucet and showerhead are very old and the bathroom shower kept running out of hot water. Management company wasn't very helpful about it, but eventually they sent someone out. Regardless of the shower/hot water issue, we loved staying here, wonderful spot.

We love the Lae Nani resort! But the condo we had this last visit needs some updates! We recommend both shower and tub and kitchen counters need cleaned and redone.
The pool deck is hot to the feet and cracked and pealing paint and cement cracks!

lae nani a dream location
We’ve stayed other places in 4-5 previous travels to Kauai, but none have as nice a Lae Nani. The view from our unit was right off a postcard. A small beach was 100 yards in front of us that allowed me to get into the water each day. Grounds were beautifully maintained. A walking trail along the ocean front let us walk 2-3 miles every morning. Our unit was quiet, clean and comfortable. We were convenient to groceries, shopping at the Coconut Marketplace, shave ice and Thai food.

it’s about the location
We really like the location. The grounds are spectacular. I felt like I needed a book of Kauai flowers because there are so many different flowers in the complex. We felt very safe. The swimming and snorkeling right out the door even with waves was a pleasant surprise. The condo has a nice view, has everything you need, everything worked, everything is very dated. The second bathroom shower is creepy. Maybe pick a different condo in same complex, I did read reviews of another condo that were pretty bad.

We have been coming to kauai for 20 years - a month each trip.

great location, nice unit
Stayed in Lae Nani unit 424 one week in November. East Shore and Wailua was a good base for visiting the entire island. Easy drive from airport, plenty of stuff to do right in Wailua and close-by and nice day drives to North and South Shores including Waimea Canyon. The property is well located with many restaurants within walking distance, close by grocery with deli and full Safeway just down the road. The grounds on the property are very nice and the beach location is good with both protected waters and some wave action. The pool is large, and not crowded and was warm. The unit is up one flight of stairs and has large, covered entrance area so sandy shoes and beach stuff can be left outside. 424 looks out over the beautiful grounds and to the beach and ocean view. The lanai was great, and we had candlelight dinner out there most nights since the ambiance from there was better than almost any restaurant. Although recommend the Lava Lave Club for the first night which is next door and easy walk around via beach for ‘beach’ dining. The unit itself was nice and had coffee and filters to get you started next morning. The unit was clean and well equipped with all kitchen stuff you should need while on vacation, beach towels, beach chairs and floats, coolers. The showers could use some updating and some maintenance items need taken care but no big deal on any of that. The layout is good and the two bathrooms were great to have. The beds were comfortable, and the lack of AC was not a big deal, at least in November. Would have been nice to have W/D in unit but they are available within a100 feet or so from unit. There is an outdoor grill within a100 feet or so from unit that made grilling easy. The management company was easy to work with and did a good job communicating with us directly and via app. They had welcome packet with all the unit and gate codes ready for us to pick-up on stop a short distance from airport on way to Wailua for contactless check-in.

awesome place
The condo location was perfect snd well equipped. There was everything you wanted or needed even an umbrella! Right on the ocean with a beautiful grass area. Beautiful flowers and palm trees well maintained. Yoga in the beach next door and the lava lava beach club with good food and live entertainment each night. Safe and nice walking area. Unit did not have a/c but had two nice fans! Market next door and shopping area.
