tropical home away from home
We enjoyed our stay at the Kauai Beach Villas. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious with a large living room and nice bedrooms. Beach gear was provided as well as a lot of basics like laundry detergent, soap, Bag of ice in freezer, games, a few DVDS. There even was a cooler and a portable Pathfinder. Kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and had basics like ziplocks, aluminium foil etc.
There was however no airconditioning throughout the unit. Only in the bedrooms. They worked well and kept us cool at night.

kauai beach villas
Poperty was among a large number of buildings with rentals. Very clean. Bath tubs/showers had no grab bars. Screens doors were in very poor shape/ had to remove one for passage. Owners showed pride of ownership/ nice furnishings and decorations. TV needs more instructions for use.

lovely spot, complex needs some love and attention
We have stayed at various units of KBV for about 35 years. Always loved the G & H oceanfront buildings. They are now condemned and in sad shape. We stayed in F7, mostly oceanfront. F7 is on the lower floor and the view was mostly grass but ok. Problem with tenants in upper units throwing food down to the chickens which are feral -the chickens (and there are MANY ) mess on the lanai where we like to eat, so we had to deal with that. We loved walking on the beach which is so beautiful and peaceful . Furniture in living room was nice, microwave was dirty with food splatters, stove was old with the lettering mostly gone, kitchen tools could be better, knives were dull, master mattress very old and not firm. W/D very small but we were glad to have them. Parking was good. BBQ areas very clean. Not many lounge chairs at either pools. May not stay here again unless we can get a higher floor or the G/H buildings are redone. Management was kind and allowed us a late checkout since no one was coming in that day. Overall a good rental experience.

comfortably dated 2 bedroom unit
I like the fact the two bedrooms are so far apart.
I also like the 1980's vibe to the condo. I don't want or need everything modern, except things that need it.
Picture is also fairly old, showing a short palm tree, now 60' tall. It also cuts out Building 'G' on the right, which is closer to the ocean. The beach is many 'steps' away. I would have preferred to stay in 'G', but it appears to be partially condemned due to poor maintenance and age. All the concrete decks overhead are failing and have new posts in place to shore them up in typical Hawaiian fashion.
Still, I liked the unit. It does feel private.
A/C is due to be updated or replaced.

great location
We recently stayed at a beachfront condo and overall, it was clean and well-maintained. However, there were a few issues that impacted my experience. For a few days, there was a strong cigarette smell in the unit, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the kettle inside was covered in rust, making it unusable. While the kitchen towels were clean, they did have old stains, which was a bit off-putting. Despite these concerns, the location was fantastic, and the view was beautiful.

relaxing condo -- a few problems
Very comfortable furniture in F-7. 3 problems: Our (expensive supermarket) food kept spoiling & we finally discovered the refrigerator temp had been set very low. Caused us to waste money-- not good! Also, bathtub floor in master bath quite slippery, need a rubber mat in there. The paint inside door of master bath is peeling in big chunks, but that was not such a big problem as the food. We do love Kauai Beach Villas atmosphere.

convenient and comfortable appartment
In between accomodations we were in need for an ultra lastminute 4 night accomodation. Kauai vacation rentals offered us a good deal for this beach villa. Although a resort-like stay was absolutely not our preferred choice, we actually really enjoyed our stay. The buildings are a bit run down (thx to the elements and time) but in the inside we loved this appartment. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Yes from a few decdes ago, but really liked that. The place is spotless and very well equipped. Location is so so and not so exotic but you will need to drive almost everywhere in Kauai so Staying eastshore is very convenient than as it gets you utmost west or north within an hour from here.

great location
Great place and nice view. Worked well for our needs but would be nice to have some spices and sugar. Need car but close to town and activities and it was helpful to have access to beach supplies. Non swimable beach but nice to walk and look at! Family enjoyed the resort pool, hot tub and slide. Would recommend and stay there again.

love kauai beach villas
We loved our stay, we have stayed before in other buildings and this unit was nice. A few small upgrades could make it even better! New shower heads and new beds would make it fantastic. The master bed was uncomfortable & old, plus the headboard slammed the wall any time once of us rolled over. The second bedroom was very cute with the shell motif.

lovely
The condo location is very convenient for getting everywhere on the island. The long beach in front of the resort was perfect for long walks and just 50 yards to the left we had the beach to ourselves and it was swim friendly. The pools at the resort were a three-minute walk and were great, although the water was cool. The resort has food and drinks available for purchase. We enjoyed the live music during happy hour almost every night at Shutters. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, including beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a great umbrella. The unit could use some updating, but we loved the space and kitchen had everything we needed except the food. The management company was outstanding to work with.

a+ rental in a great location!
We found the location very convenient for getting everywhere on the island. The long, isolated beach in front of the resort was perfect for long walks. We used the pools at the resort extensively and had no issues. We also used the tennis courts. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, including beach chairs, snorkel gear, an umbrella and cooler. The management company was outstanding to work with and graciously allowed us to do a later checkout.

Great big condo in a beautiful setting. The surf sound and chickens are both amazing! The condo has the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen. The beds are super comfy and the water pressure in the shower fantastic! The resort has such a unique setting. It's pool area is gorgeous, the beach is wild with lots of driftwood. The sunrise is stunning and we want to come back.

raden retreat
It was clean and nice. Located in a great place. The entrance security was useless - as the arm was always up at all times of day. That was unnerving.there was no early communication about major maintenance going on.

great place!
Good location for visiting other parts of the island. We were hoping to see whales from the patio and WE DID!!! It's nice to be able to walk over to the resort side and enjoy those amenities. Only problems was the hot tub was more of a warm tub as the heater was not working. Roosters crowing at 3am a couple of nights was annoying, but the bed was super comfortable so I would suggest ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Thank you for supplying beach chairs and coolers to enjoy for the week. We had a wonderful time!

wonderful location with rooster wake up calls.
We had three families staying in different apartments. I was in two of them. F-7 was offered to our particular group when our original reservation in Building D feel through. It was a nice place and needed a little updating in the kitchen. We lost electricity on one side of the condo on Christmas evening and the property manager compensated us for the entire day (I call this customer service). Loved the location and the kids loved the little inlet to run and play in the sand and water. My son's condo in D-10 was beautiful. Grounds and pool were really nice. Beautiful sun rises. Wonderful beach towels.

Exemplary experienced!!! We enjoyed our new year stay on this vacation rental. The beach view was awesome, the villa F-7 is very clean and spacious, everything we need was already available...from the beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, the clean kitchen, the fast internet, the pool is also great. We will surely be back and will surely recommend this villa to our friends here in Texas!!!
In addition, Kauai Vacation Rentals staff exceeded our expectations. From reservation to checking out, they are very helpful, with a pleasant attitude, and easy to talk with. Their service is excellent. They went above and beyond when I requested to ship to our Texas home the 2 bags of Lyndgate Farms Chocolate which were accidentally left in the fridge. walking the beach at sunrise is priceless.
It was fantastic. Villa's F-7 has all the little extra's that make for the best vacation. From nice beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling, boogie boards, games, grocery bag and insulated lunch bag, coffee and granola bars... It was clean and well-maintained, had accurate descriptions, and they provided great customer service. Thank YOU for everything!!

a wonderful retreat
This is the second time we have stayed in this villa. It is a comfortable place to stay on the island. The location is great as it is easy to get to all parts of the island. The villa is cozy and laid out well. The views of the ocean are great. The shared pools are very relaxing.

relaxing spot
We loved this condo! We stayed 5 nights at a house in Anahola then visited F-7 for the remaining 5 nights of our trip. We wanted to explore two different areas during our time on the island and both places did not disappoint. Nice views and sounds from the ocean. The property is slightly older but very comfortable. We used the AC at night, and beds were comfortable. Was nice to also have access to washer and dryer to clean our pool towels regularly. Kitchen had all appliances we needed but you do need to get your own spices and such for cooking. Moving from one property to another we had groceries and the property management went out of their way to get us an early check in so our food would not spoil. That was much appreciated! The pool was amazing and our two kids (11 & 8 years old) LOVED it! They had pool side service with food and drinks which were very good. The access to the restaurant and pools were a great added bonus. We loved the proximity of the home so we could access all of the wonderful sights on the island. We visited 10 different beaches in 10 days! Would revisit this property again!
