Description

Kaha Lani #213 is a beautiful oceanfront 2 story (2nd and 3rd floor) 2-bedroom corner condo in a quiet area surrounded by Wailua Golf Course and Lydgate Park. The condo is light and airy and decorated with Hawaiian furnishings. Upon entering you are greeted with a spectacular ocean view through 17 ft. of floor to ceiling windows leading to a large lanai. The lanai has a high bar dining set that allows views over the railing. In season, whales can be seen from here. Feel free to use our binoculars. Enjoy your expansive view from the living room and dining room! The sofa sleeper has been upgraded from a double to a queen size mattress. We have high speed internet, flat screen cable TV, Blu Ray player and several games, puzzles, DVD’s, books and cards to keep you entertained. Since we are on the east side, enjoy the gorgeous sunrise!

The oceanfront upstairs bedroom has 11 ft. of windows and a queen bed with a Tempur pedic mattress where you can enjoy being lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf and the breeze in the coconut palms. The bedroom has an adjacent bath with a shower and is somewhat secluded since they are the only rooms on the 3rd floor.

The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with a Tempur pedic mattress and adjoining bath with a shower over the tub. A portable crib is stored here. There is a laundromat close to the condo on the property. Our outdoor closet has beach chairs and sand toys.

The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to dine in and there are gas grills in different areas on the property. We provide some picnic supplies including a cooler. A 5 to 10-minute drive away, Wailua and Kapa’a offer numerous additional dining options from fast food to casual spots and local eateries to gourmet dining.

Take in mountain views of Sleeping Giant from the downstairs bedroom, kitchen and front lanai! Lounge by the heated pool or play some tennis. The extensive lawn area allows ample space for outdoor play time. Take a long walk on the white sand beach that extends for 2 miles or use the hike and bike trail that goes right past the condo. Hike the trails at Sleeping Giant or kayak the Wailua River, both nearby. A 7-minute walk brings you to Lydgate Park which has two protected swimming areas within Wailua Bay: a shallow pool for children and a larger deeper pool for adults with a lifeguard. Both pools are protected from ocean swells by rock wall barriers. We love to snorkel here! The park also has a large playground, covered picnic tables, public parking, bathrooms, showers and a large grassy area perfect for Frisbee or kite flying. Across from the swimming ponds is an outdoor walk up bar and grille, Mamahune's, over looking Wailua Bay.

As is common in Kauai homes, our condo doesn’t have air conditioning. Normally, the trade winds coming off the ocean flow through the condo. All the jalousie (louvered) windows are new and most are tinted. We have several ceiling fans and portable fans that can be moved to where you want them.

Kaha Lani provides free parking. The grounds at Kaha Lani are beautifully landscaped across 7 acres with plenty of room to enjoy all the resort has to offer!

Activities nearby include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, water skiing, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, sight-seeing, shopping, tennis and golf.

This was a great location for us. Sunrise was amazing. The beach was right across the lawn. Waveless cove and snorkeling area just a 10 minute walk down a sidewalk. No roads to cross. Perfect area for kids. I would stay here again!

The condo was perfect for our vacation. The view was stunning and instantly put us in vacation mode! The condo was more spacious than the pictures portrayed. It was fully stocked. The grounds were well maintained. The atmosphere of the complex was very relaxed. We were worried about no AC, but we were very comfortable. We loved the easy access to the entire island from this central location. We would definitely return!

Beautiful place to stay, the sound of the ocean is worth the price of admission, very quiet place , spacious for 4 people, all the ammenities were there. I thought not having A/C might be a problem but the nights were very comfortable, plenty of fans and with the trade winds during the day the temp was just fine. The people at the Kauai Vacations were there to help if needed . Would stay here again , thanks for the memories

We had a great experience at Kaha Lani 213. We loved the beach views and cool ocean breeze (we visited in May and were comfortable with windows/fans and no A/C), the spacious patio, and the unit itself, which was furnished well and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the beach/pool (beach towels, pool noodles, puddle jumper, snorkeling gear, camping chairs). The unit has direct access to the beach (1-2 minutes away), and you can walk along the pathway to go to Lydgate beach park/pools/playground (5-10 min away); it was really nice to go to the beach without having to drive. The location is not walkable to restaurants but it was a convenient, short drive (5-10 min) away from lots of restaurants in Kapaa and Lihue, and was a great central location for visiting all other parts of the island. We would definitely come back to stay at Kaha Lani 213 again!

This was our 2nd stay in this condo (213) and it feels like home, absolutely wonderful. The views are fantastic. Kitchen, couch, beds and baths are great. Just what we needed to relax and unwind from the mad Washington grind. Oh, and you get a free sunburn.

Our experience with the rental was everything we hoped for! The view was amazing, the easy access to the beach was perfect for my family, watching the sunrise every morning was like a dream. The amenities provided in the rental were extremely useful and helpful. My kids enjoyed snorkeling and playing in the sand with the beach toys. When we come back to Kauai, we would absolutely love to stay here again.

No words can describe the beauty of both the resort and Kauai. This was my first time, and my wife's third visit. The room and all amenities included were perfect. We are just sorry for forgetting to sign in on the visitors' book that was in the room from the host so for that we both apologize, and please let them know in regards. My wife and I are already planning our next trip (GOD willing) next year around same time. Until then "Aloha and Mahalo"

I have a wonderful time during my stay in this unit! I had everything I needed, for the most part. I didn't bring shampoo or lotion with me because the description states that it was supplied. I went to the front desk and the lady gave me some for my stay. The bed in the master BR upstairs was VERY comfortable! I was there alone so I don't know what the downstairs bed was like. Had a problem with the shower door in the master bath upstairs. It was hanging loose on the bottom but I called it in and it was fixed within 24 hours.

The grounds at Kaha Lani are exquisite and very well maintained! The pool, although small, is plenty large enough for a nice dip in the evenings or during the day. The resort is quiet and feels very safe! This is the third time I've stayed at the resort (first time in 213) and it's always been very comfortable. I would recommend this to a couple or seniors wanting a quiet, peaceful place to stay while on magnificent Kauai.

The unit is a bit surrounded with other condos/lanais compared to others I've stayed in there before which makes it lack the privacy the others have had. When sitting out on the deck in the evenings, there was a very bright floodlight shining on the side of the building to the right of the condo. This made it a bit unpleasant to sit out in the evenings. I understand they need that for security purposes but wonder if the complex could replace it with a downward shining light. That would be great!

Overall, I would definitely recommend this unit for a stay!

The apartment is really nice. Very well equipped, great facilities, great location. Smaller problems have been fixed in very short time. The best thing is the view to the ocean. We used the pool and the bbq facilities a lot and loved it. We would love to come back.

Very nice condo.
The rental agency was very rude and mean if I called with a question.
Unfortunately most of the locals have become rude and edgy after the pandemic.
It looks like they miss their unemployment benefit days. Will not return to this island ever again.

Beautiful clean condo with a beautiful view. Convenient to airport and many attractions. The condo provided many items for us to use such as snorkel equipment, beach chairs, beach toys, water shoes, pool noodles, etc. Nice breeze off the ocean kept our unit cool without air conditioning. If we return to Kauai we will definately stay here.

This was the perfect condo for our stay. The view from the lanai was wonderful and we ate out there every morning. The location was very nice with a park next door and a very nice path along the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

The location, view and accommodations were all wonderful. The furniture and beds were comfortable. It was nice to be able to cook meals in. It was really nice to have beach supplies available like chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler etc. We liked the central Kapa'a location of the island. There are nice beaches near by and easy to get north or south on the island. We would definitely stay again.

We were very pleased with the entire experience. Kauai Vacation Rentals was extremely professional and communicative. Alicia was particularly friendly and helpful. The unit was as described. I have owned a similar business in another state and I can say that they did everything right. Would absolutely go through them again!

This was our 11th time to kauai and 7th stay in Kaha Lani Resort, mostly in other units. It doesn't matter what unit you stay in, they are all great and the property is in the perfect place, beach, no traffic. What more could you ask for. We stayed in the unit 213 this time and was expecting such comfortable beds, but we all slept like babies. The unit was fantastic. We are already looking for our next years stay ln Kaha Lani Resort as long as it fits in our budget. Mahalo for letting us stay in your home.

We had a wonderful time. We brought our granddaughters, who are 13 years old.The upstairs bedroom was fabulous for them as they were able to have their own private area. Waking and going to sleep to the ocean sounds was so soothing. During the days we had several meals on the deck including Hors d'oeuvres and champagne. The beach and pool were very much enjoyed. The location was excellent and giving us access to several places. We hope to return soon.

We came to Kauai for a family reunion. Great location, being right on the water was ideal for us. The condo is centrally located and made it easy to get to Hanalei or Waimea. Fully Equipped and ready to live in condo.  Kauai Vacation Rentals did a great job.
