great experience
My family of nine (pre-teens, teens, and adults from the US and New Zealand) had a weeklong family reunion at this beautiful house in Princeville, located in a quiet neighbourhood, a short drive from a small shopping centre and restaurants, and a few nearby beaches. It's a ten-minute drive to Hanalei with lots of good restaurants. The house is spacious, extremely clean and well equipped, with quiet deck with BBQ towards golf course at the back. There is also swimming pool and heated spa pool, which kids enjoyed. Not to forget pool table and a lot of beach chairs. Great experience. I would recommend this property for big families or family’s reunions.

wonderful house, wonderful location!
We could not have been happier with the house. The bedrooms were spread out so it didn’t feel like you were crowded in together. The back lanai was a great morning coffee spot. The pool was great all day! The mango and avocado trees were nice to have. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

extended family stay at hale moena
Our 12 night stay at Hale Moena was perfect for our extended family of 10. Our four grandkids spent every moment they could in the pool, except when they were playing pool in the garage. The property was accurately described regarding location, layout, and amenities. We had plenty of room for three adult couples and our grandkids. The lanai facing the Makai Golf Course was very pleasant. The property was clean and well-maintained, with pool, yard, and trash/recycling maintenance performed on a regular schedule during our stay. The three adult bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, except the beds were softer than we prefer. We enjoyed many activities, including Na Pali Catamarans tour of Na Pali coast and snorkeling starting and ending at Hanalei Bay, Kaua'i Miniature Golf and Botanical Gardens in Kilauea, surfing lessons with Hanelei Surfing Company in Hanalei Bay, Garden Island Chocolate Tour and Tasting in Moloa'a, Hanalei Farmer's Market, Sunset Golf Cart Tour of Makai Golf Course, Limahil'i National Botanical Garden, Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, and beach time at Hanalei Bay beaches and Anini Beach. We had great meals at Hanalei Bread Company, Ama Ramen, The Terrace, and Sandwich Isle. We would definitely recommend this property to relatives abnd friends.

great house, lots of room
We stayed here with our whole family, 9 people. There was plenty of room and the kids loved the pool/hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.

beautiful princeville estate on the golfcourse
The family stayed in Princeville's Hale Moena, to go to a wedding in Nanea Botanical Garden. It was fantastic, the home was clean and the roosters were sure to wake us up with no alarm clock. The golf looked great but becaue we were busy, we didin't get a chance to play. But maybe next time. The kids loved the pool. Highly Recommended.

great stay for my dad's 80th
This is a great option for a large family with kids. The kids under 12 took the bunk room, and we all had plenty of our own space in the other rooms. House had a bunch of toys and chairs in the garage that we could use at our time down at Hanalei. Easy access when we arrived late and not a burdensome checkout list. Thanks Kauai Vacation Rentals!

as advertised
We had two families of four, with four kids under the age of 9. It was an awesome setup for everyone and the kids had a blast with the pool, pool table, big yard, etc. Beds were very comfortable.
Also was excellent to have everything we would need to go to the beach from chairs, to boogie boards, tents, and coolers.
Just a really great experience overall! Thank you!

kauai spring break vacation
Family spring break vacation with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the location the house and amenities. It was very clean and the management company was very helpful. The only complaint we have is that the beds were very soft.

family vacation
This property is amazing, with the pool and the Lani overlooking the golf course it was hard to leave!! We had a family of 10 and the rooms were perfect. Easy to check in and easy to check out. The property is in a great location , close to Anini Beach and Hanalei Beach. Property has Chairs and Umbrella for beach use which came in very handy. We would love to come back to this property sometime. Oh and by the way don't let the fact that is does not have air conditioning deter you from this property, plenty of fans and with the doors opened it was very comfortable at night.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. We selected the property for the private pool and was not disappointed. The pool table was used often and appreciated. We would have liked to have better lighting over the dining table and a streaming-ready tv.

wonderful vacation
We are a frequent visitor to Kauai. This was our second stay at Halle Moana and our best. The property was in excellent shape and very clean. The magnificent view windows were I think new since our last visit and allowed us to fully enjoy the magnificent views. We will be back for sure.

beautiful stay in kauai!
The home was perfect for our family. We had 8 people, and it accomodated us very well - everyone had their own space but the common area was great for everyone to gather as well. The pool was fantastic, it was deep which was great for our older kids. The kitchen was well set up with a good deal of plates, glasses, cups, etc. It was very comfortable. We loved our stay and were not ready to go home!

hale moena
Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Moena. The home offered many beach chairs, coolers, etc and a great open floor layout. The location was great for all the North end towns and beaches we love most on Kauai. The kitchen was well equipped. The upstairs primary suite was nicely laid out. We would recommend a new mattress on this bed however. We used fans to stay cool in the evening. We would consider this property again on our return trip.

Place was the perfect one for our party of 10. Parents had their own rooms while the young adults had there own. Playing pool was a blast and the arear around the house awesome. We would recommend this property to large families.
There were a few problems that were resolved by the property management and some concerns that were told about to be repaired for future usage.

perfect place for a family
The place is perfectly located, close to the market and a short ride to Anini beach and Hanalei, so you can enjoy surfing and snorkeling. The villa is well equiped and nicely furnished. Just one thing could be better: I am not sure the temperature of the swimming pool is warm enough, which is really not important.

wonderful stay
This home creates a perfect compound for the exploration of this magical island. With ample room and great separation of space for numerous guests, open floor plan with plenty of seating, private and quiet location with a vacant lot on one side, amazing mountain views from the master bedroom and balcony, a back porch surrounded by an old growth Eucalyptus grove that gives you privacy from the golf course, and a perfectly private courtyard for the pool and hot tub, this place is a 10. Pool table in the garage is the icing on the cake. The staff of Kauai Vacation Rentals are simply wonderful to boot. Lucy, we can not thank you enough for making this stay absolutely perfect for us. The home was so clean and well equipped, it made a real home for our month stay. Mahalo Nui Loa
