Description

Perched on a bluff above the beautiful Pacific Ocean, Cliffs 5-301 is on the third floor (no elevator) and offers wonderful views of the ocean and mountains as well as the lush foliage for which the north shore is famous. Enjoy these spectacular vistas through the 18 foot floor-to-ceiling windows of this spacious corner unit or step out onto either lanai for a closer look.

One lanai is off the master bedroom and is a great spot to curl up with a good book while the second, off the living room, is a perfect place to relax, as well as dine, with ocean views in the distance. In the evenings, you will want to experience Kauai's colorful sunsets here and, undoubtedly, reflect on another glorious day in paradise.

Decorated with attention to detail and tastefully furnished, this condo includes thoughtful amenities such as an extra TV in the loft and the master bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The vaulted ceiling adds a spacious feel and island-style furnishings nicely compliment the tropical scenery. Cliffs 5-301 is perfectly positioned to capture tropical breezes which enhance the already comfortable ambiance.

Laze beside the swimming pool a short walk away and, after a day filled with activity and adventure, luxuriate in one of the adjacent spas (one is an adult-only spa) to enjoy total relaxation. The Cliffs also has a Kid's playground, 1/2 court basketball court, Pickle ball/Paddle ball, 2 Shuffleboard courts, Bicycle Rental, Mini Putting Green, business center, concierge services and 24 hour security.

It's a short drive through the luscious north shore hillsides to the neighboring town of Hanalei where local establishments offer shopping and a variety of restaurants including locals' favorites, Kalypso's and the Hanalei Dolphin. These eateries compliment the four-star dining available in the Princeville resort area. Some of the most pristine beaches in the world are located within minutes of the condo, including Hideaways Beach, Hanalei Bay, Tunnels and Anini and, in the winter, the surf on the north shore is spectacular. For the golfer, Princeville offers the 27 hole Makai course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr, with some of the most spectacular mountain and ocean settings in the world.

Activities nearby include swimming, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, helicopter tours, Zip Line course, biking, shopping, tennis and golf.

An amazing place: spacious, comfortable, with spectacular views of the nature. Mornings were our favorite part of the day: the sunrise, birds singing and roosters crowing.
Kids had a great time playing at the pool and at the tennis, pickleball and basketball courts.
The location is peaceful and very relaxing.
We cannot wait to stay at this place again in the future. Mahalo

Really beautiful, calm area. The condos are located on a bluff overlooking the ocean (no beach access). Condos are well maintained. Pool is far too cold and spa too hot, but overall, the grounds are beautiful and nice amenities. Pickleball courts and putting green a plus. Wake up to the roosters! Enjoy the experience. We will come again.

We had a wonderful week at The Cliffs. The location was perfect and very quiet. A short drive away from the grocery store and a few good restaurants. Very close to Anini Beach and Hanalei. The cooler, beach chairs, and umbrella were very nice to use. The beds were comfortable and the breeze in the evening cooled it down nicely. Our kids loved the pool and we spent time there every day. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kauai.

We had a super vacation at the Cliffs. The property is well maintained. It’s in a central Princeville location on the picturesque North Coast of Kauai. Even with the roosters crowing at all times during the day and night it was a wonderful unforgettable vacation experience. We spent 4 weeks in this condo. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful corner unit on 3rd Floor with high ceilings. Ocean and lush garden/pool views from two lanais. Great layout, fully stocked with everything we needed for our one-week stay. Master bedroom was very spacious for adults, and upstairs loft perfect for two kids (ages 7 and 10). The Cliffs Resort property is beautiful and well-maintained and we found staff to be kind and helpful. Location is convenient for island activities and very close to Hanalei Bay shopping and restaurants. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay. Condo is clean and had everything we needed. There is a very nice cross breeze between all the windows that keeps the condo cool and there are many fans if the weather is hotter. We enjoyed using the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella on our beach excursions. We really loved being close to the pool where our kids ended up every afternoon. The sound out of pool waterfall was an added bonus. In the evening if there were people in the adult hot tub, we easily closed the sliding doors and they were gone. Great trip all around.

LOVED IT! Stayed here with my wife and three children. Wonderful location, beautiful surroundings and lovely condo. Had everything we needed, clean and well equipped. AC would be nice in August but with the windows open it is very pleasant, and actually makes it feel more natural. We would definitely stay again.

This home was perfect for our family of 4. Short drives to all of the North side beaches and other attractions. The home itself is spacious, a great space for us to connect and recover. We enjoyed the sports facilities and the pool. The breeze flowing through the doors and windows kept things cool always. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved our 1st stay and found everything to be as wonderful as we remembered the 1st time.

Overall, this unit and property came as advertised: great location, well kept grounds, and a well appointed unit made for a great stay. The unit easily slept us and we enjoyed using the grills on-site as well as the pool. The beach chairs and umbrella made it very easy to explore nearby beaches without having to rent.

Opportunities: the key pickup and drop off is weird. Right when you get into Lihue, you have to go by a random building and pickup physical keys- not key cards- and, when you check out, you have to drop them off to the same location. For our early flight, we had to do this at 4:00 am. They have an office onsite in Princeville so it’s unclear why you can’t just lock the keys in the unit or drop off at the property office. Also, beware that the doors to the units lock just like a hotel would when closed, unless you change this on the lock set itself with the door open. In their excitement, my kids let the door close behind them while moving luggage in and we locked the keys in the unit. The office was open, but they did not have any keys, nor were they helpful with what we should do to get in our unit. They expressed they’d page security to see if they had keys but not sure if they did. Surely, they would have a way to get in every unit, and, surely, this is not the first time this has happened. It’s clear by watching staff clean rooms when guests check out that they have the ability to get in units. Despite being unsure if they could help, we were thankful that security finally was able to locate a key and get us in.

Also, the exercise room is quite small and only one or two people can use and there’s no weight bench. The pool was nice but also note that the adult hot tub directly below the unit is a real problem at night. Super loud. We would have to wait until after 10:00 pm to call security and they would clear the people out. Unclear why security wouldn’t do this proactively at 10:00 pm b

This condo is clean and bright and open. It was a great place for two couples to share as the living spaces were separated nicely. King bed in master was very comfortable. I always wish there was somewhere to hang wet bathing suits and towels when back from the beach. The fridge needs to be balanced so it quits hitting the wall and the stove is very old, but serviceable enough. We utilized the beach chairs every day. Would be great to have a punch-code lock on the door to eliminate having a key. The ambiance of the pool area is beautiful. Some staff more helpful and honest than others.

Rented a condo on 3rd floor in The Cliffs at Princeville. We had a beautiful view from our lanai, the unit was AWESOME, beautifully furnished and extra roomy. We whale watched every morning from our cliffs overlooking the ocean. The weather and the location were both EXCELLENT! Nearby Hideaway Pizza Pub was great and a life-saver on our late night arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was really great and very comfortable. Overall we were very happy with the accommodations. We did have issue with the kitchen appointments. The cookware and knives were actually terrible. It’s really not that difficult to provide adequate cookware and knives for a rental. Also there weren’t any spices provided, not even salt and pepper. We were on vacation in Kauai, so it was only an imposition. We will definitely return, and hopefully these few things will be remedied. Fantastic views!! Great location! Super friendly staff!! Thank you all!

A wonderful stay in Kauai. Beautiful, comfy, 3rd floor condo w/actual ocean view! Amazing sunrises from primary bedroom. Loft w/2 QN beds are great for our grown boys. Lanais off family room and primary bedroom. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. There was even veg oil, salt/pepper, plastic wrap & zip lock bags. KVR made sure to have 4 beach chairs, beach towels, 2 body boards and cooler for the beach days for our family. Streaming services available on TV's (use your own accts). FYI-No Shampoo, Conditioner or Lotion provided in bathrooms, just Soap. Washer/Dryer a big plus-laundry detergent & dryer sheets provided. We love Kauai, The Cliffs (4th time staying here, 1st in this unit), but 5-301 is our new favorite.

Loved every minute of our stay. It was nice to have plenty of beds for everyone and space to move around. The 2 porches were nice to seat out on in the mornings and evenings. The only thing I wished we had was a broom and dustpan to be able to sweep the sand off the floors that we would track in.

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Our unit was perfect. We loved the corner unit view and the setup. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The overall property is very well maintained and quiet. It is a very beautiful place. If you are looking for more action, hot tub parties, and late night conversations, this is not your place. Princeville overall is not that place. We would love to come back and stay here again.

Cliffs 5-301 was perfect for us. Condo had everything we needed including beach chairs, cooler and 2 boogie boards which my boys (age 8 and 10) enjoyed on our beach outings. The breezes from this corner unit kept the condo comfortable and all amenities are within easy walking distance (pool, fitness center, bbq’s, sunset on the bluffs). Views are amazing! Ocean view from kitchen and main living area. Off master, the lanai overlooks pool and mountains which were enjoyed each morning with coffee and often a rainbow! So peaceful and relaxing. We hope to be back next summer. If you’re looking for the spaciousness of a condo, with wonderful views and amenities of a resort, Cliffs 5-301 will not disappoint.

Unique Water View in Princeville

The best thing about this property is the view of the ocean from the unit. We were in a 3rd floor unit which had high ceilings, giving an airy feel to the space. The Cliffs also has organized events, like a beer & wine party, a small farmers market and crafts people that come to the resort to show and sell their wares.

This was a great place to stay for many reasons. The view from both the front and back balconies were spectacular. The unit is well maintained and clean. The bedroom was HUGE! I woke up every morning to see the sunrise from the front balcony with a cup of fresh brewed coffee. The condo was well stocked with towels for the beach and the unit as well as basic kitchen appliances and dishes. The end unit was nice for the privacy on one side and a larger front balcony. 
The only downside was the microwave was installed unusually high and was tough to use, but we barely needed it anyway. The pool is out the back balcony and there was noise from the people one night but keep in mind the door closes and the staff are very good about enforcing quiet hours so we didn't have a problem. The plus of having the pool out back is how close this unit is and the sound of the waterfalls! The grills are very close and we were very happy how lightly they were used as we needed the use daily. 
Hanalei was our primary destination, the fish market is our favorite place to grab fresh Ahi after a long day of surfing. Foodland is just down the road and had everything you needed for groceries. This unit is very well located for trips to the Napali Coast for beach days, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, surfing etc. but yet close enough to make day trips south if you need to chase the sun. 
The owners are very easy to work with and I would highly recommend renting this property.

We loved the views from each lanai. The ocean breeze through the windows in the evening kept us cool & comfortable during our stay. We enjoyed the access to the pool and spa. Our kids enjoyed the shuffleboard and basketball court.

The Cliffs at Princeville was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the grounds were impeccable, and our unit was beyond perfection. We had a view of the mountains, the jungle, and the ocean. It truly was paradise. We'd highly recommend it, and hope to be back!

Pictures didn't lie about the place. It was clean & stocked with the essentials. Good location in Princeville. Kauai Vacation Rentals was very professional & accommodating.
