Staff was awesome. Great communication! The condo was so great! So clean and the view was amazing. Lovely pool. Only thing is if there was beach access but since it is on a cliff it's understanble. Being on a cliff made the view lovely.

first time in princeville
We loved our stay at The Cliffs! The views and location are outstanding. The condo was comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 6, as long as only 2 people were in the kitchen at a time. We will definitely return to the Cliffs.
Make sure you double check spam/junk mail. Our code to get into the facility was buried deeply into my junk folder, even though the rest of the correspondence came through fine. We had a late evening arrival and though the daytime front desk were very helpful, the evening lady on duty didn’t help at all. There was an emergency number she could have pointed us to and saved us a lot of hassle. I also recommend bringing/buying paper products like paper towel and maybe plates. The dishwasher was not working and 6 people we spent more time than we’d like washing dishes.
These small things did not by any means ruin our wonderful experience. Kaua’i is beautiful and this company does a good job if you communicate our needs.

beautiful home away from home
this was our first visit to Kauai, We had no idea what to expect, no idea where to stay or what we would have to do once there. We lucked out finding this place. It was bright and airy, beautiful views from every window/door, right next to the ocean and within a short drive of many great activities/beaches. I especially enjoyed the cliff top lookout where I could sit and watch the ocean or sunset and relax with nothing but Hawaiian beauty in front of me. The ONLY small thing I might change is that we were right by the pool, which was nice as far as getting to the pool goes, but people were in it most of the time and our open door onto our deck outside the bedroom allowed the noise in. We needed the breeze to keep things cool though so it had to stay open. Beyond that, this was the perfect spot for us and we will definately return.

a wonderful stay at the cliffs of princeville!
We loved our stay at the Cliffs. The unit was beautiful, we loved the 3rd floor and the property was immaculate. The communication from the rental agents was excellent. We were worried about not having air conditioning, but we didn’t miss it at all. It was wonderful to keep all of the windows open and to feel the breeze. We would definitely stay there again.

wonderful stay
We have been visiting Kauai for the past 35 years and have stayed all over the island
This is one of the best condos we have rented on the Island
Nicely decorated with new furnishings , we really appreciated all the effort that went into supplying the kitchen , bathrooms etc
Plus it was very clean and restocked when we arrived.
It was very warm for our time there with no a/c however with the patio doors open and the fans there was a nice cross breeze and nighttime sleeping was not an issue
The Cliffs do a great job with keeping up their property and would also recommend renting from Kauai Vacation Rentals.

second stay at 5301
Stayed here prior to Covid and loved this unit. Condo is perfect for our family of 4. Nice location,views,and amenities. Didn’t think it could get any better, to our surprise the condo has been refreshed and it’s very tasteful with cool blue hues and island decor. Not sure if it’s the owners or KVR but the toilet paper, paper towels and extra soap (dish, laundry and bath) was much appreciated for our 12 night stay. The spices in the kitchen came in handy for those few dinners prepared- we were sure to replace and left our boys 2 boogie boards for other kids to enjoy.
Already planning our 3rd return visit at 5301.

kauai 2024
Great place, great location and all the amenities that we needed.
My wife and I decided to stay in the North Shore and the Cliffs 5-301 was the perfect place four our stay. First off, the place itself was amazing with a ton of space, all the amenities we needed for our stay and was super clean. 5-301 has great views of the ocean and mountains and was perfectly located to hiking, beaches and sites we visited in the North Shore but also manageable for when we visited the South and East side of the island. The rental even included a cooler, beach umbrella and chairs which came in clutch!
Overall, had an amazing time in Kauai and can't wait to make it back and would consider this place again for sure.

perfect place in paradise
An amazing place: spacious, comfortable, with spectacular views of the nature. Mornings were our favorite part of the day: the sunrise, birds singing and roosters crowing.
Kids had a great time playing at the pool and at the tennis, pickleball and basketball courts.
The location is peaceful and very relaxing.
We cannot wait to stay at this place again in the future. Mahalo

the cliffs condo
Really beautiful, calm area. The condos are located on a bluff overlooking the ocean (no beach access). Condos are well maintained. Pool is far too cold and spa too hot, but overall, the grounds are beautiful and nice amenities. Pickleball courts and putting green a plus. Wake up to the roosters! Enjoy the experience. We will come again.

amazing stay, great location, and beautiful condo.
We had a wonderful week at The Cliffs. The location was perfect and very quiet. A short drive away from the grocery store and a few good restaurants. Very close to Anini Beach and Hanalei. The cooler, beach chairs, and umbrella were very nice to use. The beds were comfortable and the breeze in the evening cooled it down nicely. Our kids loved the pool and we spent time there every day. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kauai.

wonderful stay in princeville
We had a super vacation at the Cliffs. The property is well maintained. It’s in a central Princeville location on the picturesque North Coast of Kauai. Even with the roosters crowing at all times during the day and night it was a wonderful unforgettable vacation experience. We spent 4 weeks in this condo. I would definitely come back.

amazing condo for family of 4 - just perfect!
Beautiful corner unit on 3rd Floor with high ceilings. Ocean and lush garden/pool views from two lanais. Great layout, fully stocked with everything we needed for our one-week stay. Master bedroom was very spacious for adults, and upstairs loft perfect for two kids (ages 7 and 10). The Cliffs Resort property is beautiful and well-maintained and we found staff to be kind and helpful. Location is convenient for island activities and very close to Hanalei Bay shopping and restaurants. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

great condo!
We enjoyed our stay. Condo is clean and had everything we needed. There is a very nice cross breeze between all the windows that keeps the condo cool and there are many fans if the weather is hotter. We enjoyed using the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella on our beach excursions. We really loved being close to the pool where our kids ended up every afternoon. The sound out of pool waterfall was an added bonus. In the evening if there were people in the adult hot tub, we easily closed the sliding doors and they were gone. Great trip all around.

full of amenities and comfort
Great location with fantastic views enjoyed in a comfortable setting. This top floor unit was extremely well maintained and provided everything my wife and I needed. Having the pool and fitness center next door was convenient and it was great to listen to the waterfall from the bedroom porch.

AC would be nice in August but with the windows open it is very pleasant, and actually makes it feel more natural. We would definitely stay again.

2nd time at the cliffs - every nit as good as the first!
This home was perfect for our family of 4. Short drives to all of the North side beaches and other attractions. The home itself is spacious, a great space for us to connect and recover. We enjoyed the sports facilities and the pool. The breeze flowing through the doors and windows kept things cool always. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved our 1st stay and found everything to be as wonderful as we remembered the 1st time.

nice as advertised
Overall, this unit and property came as advertised: great location, well kept grounds, and a well appointed unit made for a great stay. The unit easily slept us and we enjoyed using the grills on-site as well as the pool. The beach chairs and umbrella made it very easy to explore nearby beaches without having to rent.
Opportunities: the key pickup and drop off is weird. Right when you get into Lihue, you have to go by a random building and pickup physical keys- not key cards- and, when you check out, you have to drop them off to the same location. For our early flight, we had to do this at 4:00 am. They have an office onsite in Princeville so it’s unclear why you can’t just lock the keys in the unit or drop off at the property office. Also, beware that the doors to the units lock just like a hotel would when closed, unless you change this on the lock set itself with the door open. In their excitement, my kids let the door close behind them while moving luggage in and we locked the keys in the unit. The office was open, but they did not have any keys, nor were they helpful with what we should do to get in our unit. They expressed they’d page security to see if they had keys but not sure if they did. Surely, they would have a way to get in every unit, and, surely, this is not the first time this has happened. It’s clear by watching staff clean rooms when guests check out that they have the ability to get in units. Despite being unsure if they could help, we were thankful that security finally was able to locate a key and get us in.
Also, the exercise room is quite small and only one or two people can use and there’s no weight bench. The pool was nice but also note that the adult hot tub directly below the unit is a real problem at night. Super loud. We would have to wait until after 10:00 pm to call security and they would clear the people out. Unclear why security wouldn’t do this proactively at 10:00 pm b

beautiful condo up north in princeville
This condo is clean and bright and open. It was a great place for two couples to share as the living spaces were separated nicely. King bed in master was very comfortable. I always wish there was somewhere to hang wet bathing suits and towels when back from the beach. The fridge needs to be balanced so it quits hitting the wall and the stove is very old, but serviceable enough. We utilized the beach chairs every day. Would be great to have a punch-code lock on the door to eliminate having a key. The ambiance of the pool area is beautiful. Some staff more helpful and honest than others.

beautiful kauai
Rented a condo on 3rd floor in The Cliffs at Princeville. We had a beautiful view from our lanai, the unit was AWESOME, beautifully furnished and extra roomy. We whale watched every morning from our cliffs overlooking the ocean. The weather and the location were both EXCELLENT! Nearby Hideaway Pizza Pub was great and a life-saver on our late night arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay in Kauai. Beautiful, comfy, 3rd floor condo w/actual ocean view! Amazing sunrises from primary bedroom. Loft w/2 QN beds are great for our grown boys. Lanais off family room and primary bedroom. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. There was even veg oil, salt/pepper, plastic wrap & zip lock bags. KVR made sure to have 4 beach chairs, beach towels, 2 body boards and cooler for the beach days for our family. Streaming services available on TV's (use your own accts). FYI-No Shampoo, Conditioner or Lotion provided in bathrooms, just Soap. Washer/Dryer a big plus-laundry detergent & dryer sheets provided. We love Kauai, The Cliffs (4th time staying here, 1st in this unit), but 5-301 is our new favorite.

great stay at the cliffs!
The place was really great and very comfortable. Overall we were very happy with the accommodations. We did have issue with the kitchen appointments. The cookware and knives were actually terrible. It’s really not that difficult to provide adequate cookware and knives for a rental. Also there weren’t any spices provided, not even salt and pepper. We were on vacation in Kauai, so it was only an imposition. We will definitely return, and hopefully these few things will be remedied. Fantastic views!! Great location! Super friendly staff!! family vacation
Loved every minute of our stay. It was nice to have plenty of beds for everyone and space to move around. The 2 porches were nice to seat out on in the mornings and evenings. The only thing I wished we had was a broom and dustpan to be able to sweep the sand off the floors that we would track in.

a perfect anniversary spot
My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Our unit was perfect. We loved the corner unit view and the setup. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The overall property is very well maintained and quiet. It is a very beautiful place. If you are looking for more action, hot tub parties, and late night conversations, this is not your place. Princeville overall is not that place. We would love to come back and stay here again.
