The balcony and view were our favorite place. The unit was very clean. Everything we needed was here. I really appreciated the food trucks! Less cooking! I even used a band-aid in the bathroom cupboard. Please notify future guests that are older, that 3 flights of stairs with suitcases and groceries is hard to do. Thank you.

beautiful and peaceful location
My family of 4 came here for Spring Break and the space was perfect. It had space to spread out, while also having great communal space to be together. We spent most of our time on the balcony looking at the beautiful ocean views. I appreciated the daily food trucks provided on site for added convenience for some meals. And the grills were nice to have for a few dinners we made at home. The chairs out by the cliffs were a wonderful spot to have your morning coffee/tea.

this place had the best vibe!
This was our fifth trip to Kauai and this rental was our favorite of them all! It has so much character and everything we needed from beach chairs, umbrellas, ice chest, to all of our kitchen needs. I don't think there is another place like the Cliffs where you can see both beautiful sunrises AND sunsets. We we definitely be back!

great stay
My family really enjoyed the community feel of the cliffs. Something always going on at the community center. Free mai tai’s on Monday and free beers on Tuesday.

great location, great space, could use some updating
We had a nice stay at this unit, it’s a great 3rd floor corner location with a beautiful view and plenty of room. It’s well equipped with everything you might need. It definitely needs some updating though, there is stained musty carpet in the bedroom and the furniture, doors and kitchen cabinets are very old. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

lovely, spacious condo at the cliffs
This is a lovely, spacious condo with great amenities, located very close to the pool and sport courts. We loved the comfortable beds, overhead fans, relaxing lanais, and nice kitchen. The unit came with four beach chairs, a variety of coolers/bags, and a beach umbrella (very much appreciated until we realized it was broken).
The kitchen is fully stocked in terms of dishware and cooking utensils, but there are only a few pantry items (some spices) and nothing refrigerated (butter, etc.).
The Cliffs is overall a great complex. The pool is wonderful (we went several times a day!) and the sport courts offer lots to do. But note that the bikes are pretty run-down and there are only five available for the entire complex. This unit is not directly overlooking the Cliffs, but it's a short walk to the northernmost edge where there are beautiful lawns and chairs for watching sunsets.
Kauai is a loud place, owing to the constant crowing of wild roosters. The humidity requires open doors and windows all night. And there are a few extra noises in this unit. So all in all, this is not a place to come if you require complete quiet. Earplugs and/or sleep headphones are a must.
Check-in/out requires the additional step of picking up keys at the property management's office in Lihue and then also checking in at the Cliffs for pool keys and parking permit. The parking costs $15 a day, which was a significant expense that was not mentioned anywhere in the property listing or check-in materials.

amazing vacay
We arrived at 11pm and it was hot in the condo, but after opening the doors and windows, it was quite comfortable without AC. The condo had everything you needed and then some. It could use some updating but was still nice. Will be returning again.

excellent condo
We stayed 8 nights in this condo. This is our 12th stay at the cliffs, we have used many other companies to rent our condo and Kauai Vacation Rentals was excellent. The condo could use a few minor fixes. The carpet is old and should be removed in the bedroom and loft. Also, the lanai has an outdoor rug that is too big, with the amount of birds that migrate out there, I don’t think carpet is a good idea. We rolled it up for our stay. I would rent through this company again when we come back next May. Also, dropping key off at office seems unnecessary given other condos at the cliffs.

great vacation
The unit was as described. It was clean and well equipped. It is a top unit as stated so a little hard to handle luggage up stairs. The doors left open gave us a constant tropical breeze. One fan stopped working while we were there but the breeze provided enough cool air. One outlet in the main bath did not work. The view was amazing. We had both mountain and ocean views. Some of the furniture and area rugs need replacing as they are well worn.

holidays to remember
Our time at The CLiffs on Kauai was exactly what we needed. The year had been a veyr busy one, and unplugging was the only goal for the family. The condo was well appointed and as advertised: beautiful location, walkable to beaches, and plenty of room for rest and relaxation. The unit itself was clean and comfortable and quickly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was beautiful and well-stocked: it lacked for nothing! And Lauai Vacation Rentals' customer service was exceptional. We will be back-MAHALO!

family reunion at the cliffs princeville
We rented 2 condos at The Cliffs and had our daughter and family from Washington and son and family from Australia. The 4 kids had a great time being together and enjoyed the pool, golf, basketball. The grounds and facilities were great. Location wonderful for visiting the barious beaches. The only concern was that our condo did not have window coverings in the kitchen and upper living room windows. The heat was oppresive since we couldn't block the sun coming in.

great condo, amazing views & convenient location
We loved our stay! The condo is in a great condition, very well stocked kitchen. The interior is amazing, very Hawaiian. The lanai is everything you need in HI. Very large, big dining table. Our family of 6 was enjoying the outside area all of time while looking at the ocean views. They have beach chairs, umbrella, kids toys, coolers inside the condo. The Cliffs complex is very well maintained. The pool area is amazing. The location is a few minutes away from Princeville shopping center.

couldn't have been better!!
First and foremost, the condo was AMAZING! Artfully decorated, beautifully appointed, and the provisions offered were a blessing. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We had other family staying at another location and they spent all their time at our condo!The support and communication we were offered from Kauai Vacation Rentals was incredible. They helped us with a few minor issues at the condo efficiently and successfully.And when we forgot a few items in the washer (our mistake), they were prompt to go to the unit, pick up said items and ship them immediately back to us. Look no further than this very special unit, absolutely amazing!

great location on a beautiful island
This spot was great overall. The location had a great view of the ocean and the overall grounds at the Cliffs were perfect. Super easy to go swimming in the pool or play a round of tennis, shuffleboard or pickle-ball. The location is not within easy walking distance of a beach but there are some great beaches close by (Hanalei Bay is great for a beach day while Anini beach is great for snorkeling with sea turtles). The unit itself is very spacious which easily accommodated our family of 5. Full kitchen and 2 bathrooms made staying there for 8 days easy. None of the units there have A/C so be ready for constant humidity while you stay but the fairly steady breeze through the unit was quite lovely as the weather there is amazing.
The only negatives about the place which kept it from being 5 stars across the board was the unit only came with 2 bath towels which was strange since the unit says it will sleep 6. It had 4 beach towels but those weren't useful once wet and full of sand from the beach. Luckily the place has a nice washer and dryer so we found ourselves using that often to keep the towels semi-fresh. We also had an issue with the dishwasher as it simply didn't work at all so we needed to hand wash all our dishes all week. There were also several dishes, pots and cups that were either chipped, cracked or marred and should be replaced.
The double check in can be a little clunky (have to pick up your key in Lihue when you arrive and then check in again at the Cliffs to get your pool and parking passes) but overall not a big deal. Also be careful with the door when you leave as it auto-locks behind you. We didn't have an issue but our friends staying in another unit locked themselves out when they first arrived and it took a bit for them to get us let back in.
Overall though the place is great and the location is amazing and would certainly recommend it as we had a great time.

fabulous condo!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cliffs in 4310! The view from the lanai was so beautiful. We enjoyed all our meals out there looking at the ocean and listening to the birds. Everything was in good condition and we had everything we needed. The kitchen gets very warm in the afternoon, as the sun comes right in the tall windows with no shades on them. The condo cooled down at night and we were very comfortable sleeping with the ceiling and floor fans. We enjoyed the pickle ball court - that was a bonus! And we took a few bike rides on the available beach cruisers - rode to Queen's Bath for a swim, and the farmer's market on Saturday. Foodland was not far away and we enjoyed a meal at Tiki Iniki and got take out from Lotus Garden. The beach chairs, umbrella, extra cooler bag, snorkel equipment was handy. Packing tip: bring Chip Clips!

spacious unit with great views!
This rental was the right size for the 5 of us and we used the lanai constantly for meals, early morning coffee and just to read and watch sunrise/sunset. The kitchen was well stocked and we had enough towels for showers, beach and pool. The beach chairs were greatly appreciated. My only negative comment would be the overwhelming amount of “nick nacks” and decorations in the unit. If you are someone who likes a more modern decor, this place is not for you.

felt like home
The Cliffs 4-310 is a fantastic place to stay. It is well maintained, wonderfully decorated, and had all the necessary items needed for cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. We fell in love with Kauai. This place made us feel like we were home. I highly recommend and would pick the same place in a heartbeat. A special thanks to the family who owns this condo for opening their home to us. I hope to someday visit again soon.
