The Cliffs Resort rests on 22 acres of lush tropical garden land, close to pristine white sand beaches and 45 holes of world-class golf at Princeville. The Cliffs features a large swimming pool, two Jacuzzis, barbecue areas near each building, oceanfront gazebos and lounge areas, bicycle rentals, a fitness center, a kids’ playground, a putting/chipping green, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and pickle-ball courts. Have been here many times and always enjoy it. But... We have stayed in several different units at the Cliffs over the years and always praise the facilities, but this unit is old and badly in need of a refurb. Furniture is badly worn, dishwasher didn't work, bath faucets leaked.Generally in need of a lot of updates, especially considering the premium price.

The unit was clean, but very outdated. Popcorn ceilings, worn cabinets doors, lanai sliding screen door constantly falling off its railing, moisture dripping into lanai from the above unit's balcony. The couch in the living room was very difficult to unfold, seemed that a mechanism was stuck and a bit bended. There were no kitchen condiments except salt and pepper, we had to buy sugar, oil, sauces, etc. just for basic cooking. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms, just hand soap - never experienced something like this renting anywhere in Hawaii in the past 15 years.

Having visited Kauai many times, the Cliffs was one of our favorite places to stay. The apartment was well outfitted and well taken care of. The views at sunset forn the cliffs were amazing! we loved the pool and hot tub as well.
Kauai Vacation Rentals staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

It was a nice little condo that worked out well for us. It is definitely an older condo with quite dated bathrooms and furniture, but we didn't spend much time inside. The pool/jacuzzi area is quite nice and has an adults only section that was nice to be away from the noisy kids. Nice tennis and paddleboard courts, beautiful lawns with great views from the cliffs down to the water. The propane grills were in multiple locations and very easy to use, a nice touch by the property. Not a bad place, we certainly enjoyed our time. Pay attention to all the extra fees, don't get caught by surprise, including the $15 per day parking fee. The cleaning fee was quite high. The property did have 2 nice beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler chest (not wheeled) and beach towels.

Everything you need to have a great vacation. Our unit didn’t have air conditioning but it was not needed. Building is perfectly situated to get a good breeze throughout from the ocean. I especially appreciated one of the hot tubs designated adults only. We were also able to use the bikes that are available.

This is a very nice quiet and comfortable unit. Management is responsive and communicative. I had absolutely no problems. Everything I needed was supplied. I recommend it as a vacation rental.

We had a great time and the unit was great! Loved the pool area. Our only complaint is we asked the reception for 2 days to stop the door on the unit above us to be closed because it was banging ALL night (very windy) they never did send anyone to close the door. Very frustrating!

Would never recommend this company to anyone horrible unit nothing like the pictures dirty construction being done upstairs while we’re trying to enjoy a vacation downstairs and this company knew about it and didn’t take the time or the respect to inform us of those issues. Just let us rent the unit and deal with the issues ourselves. Bad customer service bad. unit was so dirty. The toilets were disgusting. Shower did not work properly in the main bathroom stains on the carpet. All the blinds were falling apart, no knobs on some of the lamps to be able to turn them on. just not the place you want it to be for the amount of money you pay for it sad. if I could, I would give this a rating of minus -1.

We had a wonderful time in the condo. The location is great and it's equipped with everything including beach chairs and umbrella. The best part is it has a washer and a dryer. This is a nice clean unit. It comes with beach chairs and coolers. We have stayed here and love the location. The pool is heated and large. We loved going to Hanalei and we ate at Hanalei Gourmet which has very good food.

The condo was perfect everything was spotless was a a great location. The condo had a washer and dryer which was great for washing our wet clothing from both the rain and the beach. The place even had use of nice beach chairs, umbrella, matts, and towels. Loved it.

This was a perfect rental for us! We booked this trip at the last minutes and the agency was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Easy check in process. The unit was great. Bed is super comfortable. Had some beach chairs for us to use at the beach and all the kitchen essentials if you want to cook. We would definitely come back!

This was our first stay at the Cliffs. The condo had plenty of room and was well accommodated. The backdoor had a nice patio and private garden view.
The pool has an attractive jungle-like appearance and there are two hot tubs.
Probably the nicest part of the property is the cliffs overlooking a broad expanse of open ocean with plenty of whales to watch.

This unit is in a lovely position in The Cliffs - just steps away from the courts and pool, with a wide-open garden view - a lot more sheltered than those right on the clifftops! Being ground floor has its advantages - you can walk right out onto the lawn, and its disadvantages - the Hawaiian geese can, and do, walk right up to your windows to look in! They are sweet and curious but they leave their calling cards and the lanai became pretty messy. We never fed them or encouraged them in any way. An outdoor broom and watering can would be good additions as the Cliffs reception told us it was not their mess to clean up since the unit is rented privately. We had no tools to help us so just had to step around the messes. The interior is super spacious. Some of the furniture really needs updating - the dining chairs are impossible to sit on for more than a few seconds, and the mattress very soft. The table on the lanai may blow away in the next storm, very cheap and wobbly. However, it is a well equipped condo with all the necessary items and we were happy to stay there. There is a pizza truck that parks there twice a week and the pizza is excellent and reasonably priced. There is a big selection of books and DVDs in the rec room. The pool area is clean and the pool temperature just perfect. Lovely to walk the neighbourhood and see albatross nesting beside the road. The Foodland store in Princeville is large and well stocked with everything you'll need. The local library is close by. We enjoyed Princeville.

The condo was nice and spacious for two people. The kitchen had enough supplies and cookware for us to cook the whole time we stayed. We really loved the amenities, especially the pool!

We enjoyed staying at Cliffs 2-109. The place is roomy and the bed comfortable. There are fans so the temperature was comfortable. The resort is nice with many activities to do. There are beach chairs but that is it.

Second time I have chosen to stay at this condo. Great location, nice amenities, close parking always available. Like having the added benefits of a local farmer bringing fresh produce or pizza vendor, plus water dispensers to refill water bottles (especially at the pool). Concierge always helpful and friendly.

The unit was clean and the kitchen well stocked. It was as pictured in the listing. The two sliding glass doors and ceiling fans allowed a cross breeze, so we were comfortable without air-con.
My complaint is that there was no communication between the Lihue management company and the on-site management staff. No mention was made about the landslide between Princeville and Hanalei which highly impacted when one could travel the road or the necessity of having reservations a month in advance to visit Ke'e beach and Kilauea Wildlife Refuge. We missed two things we really wanted to do and were highly disappointed. It would be so easy for the management company to include these facts at the time of reservation instead of learning of them only when arrived at the property!

Great experience. A nice little place with plenty of amenities on the property. The staff at the property was very pleasant and helpful, as was the property management company. Also had a great place to watch the sunsets. Visiting food trucks were nice but we never seemed to make it back in time. We would definitely return.

Stayed over a week and absolutely loved it. Princeville is a dream town that is close to great beaches. Lots to do at the Cliff and the pool was amazing, Staff was incredible and the room was perfect!!!!

The Princeville area is beautiful, and Hanalei has some great places to eat.

We had a great stay and loved the condo, it’s set up with all the appropriate amenities and had plenty of room for our family of four! We really enjoyed being on the ground floor where our kids could go out and play on the lanai and we could eat breakfast each morning. The pool is very nice and has two hot tubs! One perk was that the resort had food trucks come in three nights out of the week which made it very convenient for a quick meal or shaved ice!!

We have stayed many times at the Cliffs. We love the location and the beauty of the grounds. The units are spacious and there are so many amenities. This unit is so nicely appointed from the beautiful bamboo floors to the lovely furnishings. It is nicely located in the complex.

This was my husband and I's first trip to Kaua'i. After a lot of research we decided to stay on the north shore and were not disappointed. The condo was in a perfect location - beautiful beaches nearby, grocery store right around the corner, and no more than a day trip from exploring the rest of the island. The condo itself was very clean and well maintained, there was plenty of space for the two of us. The kitchen is stocked well and we had everything we needed to cook our meals at home and pack lunches for the day. All the beach gear is provided to use during your stay which was a plus. Property itself is very nice, although we didn't spend much time in the pool or hot tub they seemed to be very clean. There was a separate pool & hot tub for adults only and another one for families. We would go out every evening after dinner to watch the sunset over the cliffs and you can't beat the view. Kauai vacation rentals was very friendly to deal with and addressed any minor questions/concerns that we had during our stay. Literally the only thing I can think that I wish was different was the fact that there is no AC and the unit is on the first floor which made me hesitant to keep the windows open at night even thought we felt we were in a safe location. We would definitely stay again!

This was our second trip to Kauai and we chose this condo as it seemed to fit all of our needs. Well, we were not disappointed. It had everything that we needed and had more than enough room. The property is nicely situated and even though it's a private rental, you have access to all of the amenities of The Cliffs. Our stay was made super easy by the staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals and the app is a great service and an easy way to communicate with them. We will surely miss our breakfast buddies, the Nene's, that came to visit is every morning.

It has been wonderful! Very comfortable furniture and bed. And every item we needed has been here. Well stocked! The grounds are beautiful! Parking close to door.
