Air-con would have been good but we knew this was not included. Staff were superlatively helpful when we locked ourselves out of the apartment on one occasion, and when we left a wallet in the apartment on departure!! The wallet was promptly posted back to us. Great location - quiet and great sunset views. Thoroughly recommended.

Immaculate condo

We loved having the beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and cooler. The lanai was very nice and was where we enjoyed all our meals. It was great to have a full kitchen and and grocery store right down the road. There were plenty fans to keep the condo cool during the day. The condo is very quiet and relaxing - we did not hear any other people during our five day stay. You will also not hear any traffic or noise pollution, as the condo is far away from main roads. While the ocean view is limited from the condo, just a few steps away is an excellent view of the ocean. There are benches where you can sit and enjoy the view - you can even see the sunrise from here. We would highly recommend staying at this Sealodge condo!

Yes, no AC and at first I thought it would be a problem but the owners have great fans in every room...even the bathroom!! I'm talking Lasko stand up fans that are wonderful. We are from Florida so we normally love our AC but I found that waking up to the birds chirping and a breeze was heavenly.
The condo was spotless. I was very satisfied with the mattress, several great nights of sleep for the two weeks we were there.
We have used the little cooler carrier several times that the owners left with water and snacks in it.
The view is a partial ocean view but the condo is on the end near the trees and you feel so secluded that is was worth not having a full view.

Perfect holiday

The apartment is very clean and in reality looks even better than on the pics. You don't need an AC, fans and windows cool it down easily in a few minutes. Next time we will also choose B9! Thanks KVR for these little gifts (little cooler with snacks and shopping bag), which do make a difference and help to keep our memories vivid when we're back now.
Condo is exceptionally well-appointed

The rooms are tastefully decorated and the furnishings are quite comfortable. We had a lovely view from the lanai of the ocean and surrounding landscaping and wild foliage that accommodated many birds. The condo also had everything you needed to enjoy the nearby beaches.
We look forward to another trip to Kauai soon!

We did more hiking on Kauai than before, and loved the hike to Waipoo falls. Also zip lined with Kauai zipline.com out of Koloa. Great group! The condo was amazingly stocked with everything we needed. Our only concern was the lack of breeze during the hottest part of the day, but the fans really helped and sleeping at night was not a problem. We look forward to another trip to Kauai soon!

Fully equipped condo

The only disadvantage of it when compared to other Sealodge units, is that it only has a partial ocean view. The beach gear (chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, cooler) was great and we made use of it every day. Princeville is also an excellent location for a stay on Kauai.

A gangway leads you from the parking lot level to the unit's 2nd floor which overlooks a protected canyon greenbelt. Relax with a Mai Tai on the lanai above the tree line enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean while you’re serenaded by a symphony of tropical birds in the plumeria, banana, and coconut trees below. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of an albatross gliding on the gentle trade winds or whales spouting below in the shallows.
This one bedroom unit his been completely updated from its original 70’s decor. Extra care has been taken with the smallest details. The owners want you to feel as ‘at home’ here on Kauai as they do when they visit from California. The unit boasts a tropical theme, accented by richly upholstered rattan furniture, hardwood deck, and views from every window.
The kitchen includes appliances including a radiant cook-top, washer-dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven.
