This is the 2nd time we stayed at this unit. It was well equipped with pool/beach equipment. My wife loved waking up in the morning and, from the bed, looking out over Prince Kuhio Park to the ocean. It was a very short walk across the street to sit on the bench in front of the Beach House Restaurant to watch the sunset every night. We are able to park in the parking garage that is nextdoor, keeping the car out of the hot sun. Great propane BBQs and a nice pool. The only negative is that there is no elevator, but the 3rd floor is quiet with nobody above us. My wife & I found some great books in the offsite office and #318 has a ton of various books. Their book about the Coco Palms Resort was very interesting. We will be back.

Looking at all the Price Kuhio condos for rent, we decided on #318 after reading the reviews. They were spot on! The owners had thoughtfully provided everything you could want. Very clean, comfortable, and cozy. .Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living area for hanging out when not at the beach. Incredible view of the mountains, park and ocean from the balcony off the bedroom. Listening to the ocean day and night and the roosters in the morning was wonderful. Great snorkeling beach just up the road. We hope to be back and would choose this condo again.

It was okay. Quiet as expected. The condo didnt smell clean. Very disappointed by the chicken infestation. Disconcerting. Probably won’t return to Kauai. If we did , . Next time I would stay on the beach. Liked being near the shopping centers and poipu. Parking was ok.

We loved our stay at Prince Kuhio 318. The condo had everything we needed - from a fully equipped kitchen to the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. We spent every evening across the street on our beach chairs watching the sunset and every morning on the deck watching the sunrise. The snorkeling across the road was excellent.

great location, all was great except the sofa fold out bed. The front tilted up and was very uncomfortable - could not be fixed we were told. Had to sleep on sofa very uncomfortable. I left a bag with a note on the kitchen counter, the snorkel gear in the bag leaks - FYI. Would have been helpful if there was an apron

Easy checkin in with good communication. Spotlessly clean condo and beautifully landscaped grounds. We were comfortable in our room, nice artful touches and amenities. Snorkel gear provided was a bonus plus beach chairs etc! Close walk to watch sunset , also to take in live music and early happy hour at the Beach House restaurant. Able to do many days trips from this location. Definitely would stay here again!

Our stay in Prince Kuhio 318 was lovely. The condo was well cared for and had many supplies we needed.
This condo is on 3rd floor up several flights of stairs. (we go to the gym at home so did not have a problem, we are in our late seventies) The grounds are beautiful. Pool is wonderful. Definitely needed a floor fan on this visit. Having washer and dryer in condo is great. View is perfection. Nice to have a garage to park in. We highly recommend 318!!

The apartment has anything you need for a perfect stay, beach umbrella, chairs and towel, snorkel gear, washing machine and dryer, kitchen was really well equipped. We really needed a special getaway to decompress after the loss of a close family member and Prince Kuhio #318 provided it wonderfully. Such a beautiful property with the fully appointed condominium and very well-maintained tropical grounds, pool and all. All of this just across the road from some of the best snorkeling, impressive Beach House restaurant, botanical gardens and more. The old Hawaiian décor, CD of Hawaiian music, and various books gave the apartment a special vibe. Not only was apartment clean but the tropical garden and general grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The Kauai Vacation Rental's group was immediately responsive to phone calls. The road directly in front of building gets very little use at night so other than the surf and roosters, nights were restful. We enjoyed bringing drinks across the road to beach by restaurant every night to toast the sunset. The snorkeling at Koloa landing was our favorite.

Kauai is beautiful, the Poipu area is beautiful, as is the Prince Kuhio park next door. The unit had most of the amenities expected. An overall great stay with a few drawbacks. The hide-a-bed hadn't been used in a while so there were crumbs, chips, and a medication pill in there as we opened it. The washer and dryer are functional but are at least 40 years old. There were no wine glasses, and no condiments beyond salt and pepper. It's supposed to be a no smoking bldg., but our neighbors in 317 smoked pot almost everyday. We notified the manager once who posted a copy of the rules on their door, but no follow up.

My partner and I LOVED the Prince Kuhio #318 apartment! It had a 1940's vintage vibe to it, there were always breezes from one direction or another. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the beach chairs and snorkeling equipment was great to have right there. The art on the walls was lovely and I could have stayed in that bedroom with the King bed and the breeze blowing the curtains forever! So nice to have the Prince Kuhio Park next door because it gave you from the balcony expansive views of the countryside, and then the other direction was a great view of the ocean.
The smell of orchids the first night we got there was otherworldly. The pool is very nice and all the vegetation around the pool and apartments is so colorful and beautiful.

My husband celebrated his 80th birthday here, 11 family members were here in 4 condos-Fabulous time!

We have been here many times before and we loved it again!
We both just retired from teaching in June and we wanted to be far from home when school started.
We did a lot less this time and enjoyed ourselves more.
We spent a lot of time reading at Poipu Beach, Lydgate park, Hanalei and of course at the pool.
We liked the breakfast buffet at Kilohana.

A vacation rental is so much cheaper then a hotel, more room to spread out and vacation rentals have kitchens. While there is not a shortage of good restaurants here, cooking our own meals sometimes does save a lot of money.
Kauai Vacation Rentals was pleasant to work with, was nice to call when we were planning and talk to a human, especially because they were always so nice too.

3rd floor unit, done with a soft tropical touch. Adjacent to historic Prince Kuhio Park, with good ocean views, it's a walk across the street to ocean for snorkeling and surfing. Common sights include Sea Turtles, endangered Monk Seals, and Seasonal Whales. Nicely landscaped grounds with koi pond, swimming pool and barbecue & picnic area. This spacious unit is equipped with full size washer and dryer.
There are two sandy beaches across the street. Or, you can relax by the pool surrounded by tropical gardens while listening to the sounds of the nearby waterfall. The BBQ area is available for you to enjoy, complete with picnic tables.
There is a nice variety of outstanding restaurants in the Poipu area including The Beach House just across the road. Shops are just a few minutes away in Old Koloa Town, Poipu Shopping Village and The Shops at Kukuiula. You will also want to visit Spouting Horn and National Tropical Botanical Gardens about a mile down the road. Just minutes away are golfing, tennis and horseback riding. At Kukuiula Harbor, there are open ocean dives, ocean tours, sailing and sport fishing.
