Kauai Island Brewing Company
Kauai Island Brewing Company is also known as the “World’s Westernmost Brewery”, and has been operating for nearly 25 years. It was Kauai’s first brewery and has two locations, one in Port Allen and one in Koloa.
The brewery uses locally sourced ingredients such as taro, passion fruit, and blood orange. Its beer menu is constantly changing, but the flavor profiles always stay adventurous. They have 10 beers on tap in-house. This usually includes a few IPAs and other types of beer such as pale ales, golden ales, red ales, stouts, and porters.
Their menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, such as pizza, Wagyu burgers, fries, and salads. They also include a special menu for kids, making this a perfect spot to bring the whole family. This Kauai brewery also serves wine, mixed drinks, cocktails, and over 100 whiskeys. Don’t miss the daily happy hour, which runs from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Kauai Beer Company
Kauai Beer Company, or KBC, is a local brewery known for its creativity, ambiance, and passion for beer. Started by a father and son duo, the brewery has its roots in its owner Jim’s homebrew operation. Jim’s son Justin is now the head brewer, and you may even bump into him on your visit!
Some of KBC’s most popular beers include the Black Limousine—a dark lager with caramel notes—and the Lihue Lager—a German-style pale lager with tropical-flavored hops. However, there are usually up to nine or ten beers on tap.
Stop in and enjoy a flight or a pint and grab a bite to eat. The menu includes favorites such as coconut-crusted shrimp, mac and cheese, and fish tacos. There is also a cocktail menu, so you can bring along folks who prefer other spirits.

Napali Brewing Company
Napali Brewing Company’s slogan is “crafted with Aloha” meaning it is imbued with the Aloha spirit, that of love and fellowship. You can taste it in each glass of this local beer. The brewery likes to say that their bar and restaurant are sanctuaries of hospitality. You know when you arrive at Napali Brewing Company, you are about to have a special experience. The team likes to say they treat their guests like “ohana”, or family.
Some of the most popular beers at Napali brewing include the Hele on Helles, the Local Boy Lager, Hamajang IPA, and Poi Pounding Pilsner.
Napali Brewing Company also has live music in the evening, creating a truly special night out. The menu includes poke bowls and Local-Style Smoke Meat—a Hawaiian take on BBQ. The bar also includes wine, cocktails, and Okolehao, a Hawaiian spirit distilled from the Ti plant.
