Description

At Sunset Kahili 203, you can enjoy beautiful ocean views from your private lanai as well as from indoors. Lounge on your lanai in the comfortable trade winds to watch and hear the waves roll in and, of course, in the evenings during sunset's colorful skies.

It's just a short walk to Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach Park where you can snorkel, surf and sun. Poipu Beach Park has a lifeguard, a very important thing if you plan to go into the water. There are also outdoor showers and rest rooms here. If you get hungry or thirsty at the beach, just step across the narrow road to a small, carry-out deli and sundries shop with ice-cold beverages and yummy snacks and sandwiches.

There's plenty to do nearby like golfing, horseback riding, touring botanical gardens, sport fishing, and lots more. If you enjoy cooking and creating delicious dishes, you will want to visit at least one of Kauai's Sunshine or farmer's markets where super-fresh produce is found to be included in your culinary masterpieces. That's one of the great things here . . . trying to decide whether to eat at home or dine out at one of the many nearby cafes and restaurants.

The condo is very beautiful, everything worked, comfortabel bed, and it's close to the beach. We enjoyed the ocean view, having a working kitchen and proximity to the beach. Kauai Vacation Rentals was Ono! We came to Kauai for the landscape, the beaches, the mountains, the ocean and the sky. Hiking Kokee and meeting other travelers were our highlights.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was great. Cozy and well-appointed. It has everything you would need and is way better stocked on essentials than your average rental. 
The condo community it is in is quiet. 
Mattress, wi-fi, and water pressure all check out as good. 
Location is great (3 min drive to Cafe Anuenue for breakfast...which we did every morning we were there).

I absolutely loved being here. I am pretty sure it is one of the best places on the island to watch the sunset, and I got to do it every night while I ate dinner on our deck. Being surrounded by the water was such a great way to wake up too. It was walk-able to snorkeling/boogie-boarding/swimming, to a few shops, and even a restaurant (I walk a lot, so this means all within about a mile). 
The space was the perfect size for two people on vacation--not too big, and not to small. The kitchen was a great size. Having ceiling fans to circulate the air was also lovely. 
It was stocked with things we found useful, like a tourist guide to Kauai, and kitchen basics. 
Quiet hours were nice to have too. Some folks would watch tv in the evening which we could hear mutedly, but it was usually always off by 10, making it easy to get decent sleep. 
I cannot imagine a better location to have enjoyed Kauai. I feel lucky we found it.

This is a well kept condo with plenty of space for two people. The view is better than expected and the location is nice for accessing lots of activities in the south and east part of the island.

We loved sitting on the lanai watching dolphins, turtles, whales, sunset, etc. The condo is beautiful and has lots of amenities. KVR was great; when we had a problem with the bathtub drain, it was taken care of within a few hours. We have been here several times starting with our 25th anniversary. We celebrated our 35th this year. We love Kauai! So much to see and do!

This was a good location for us. It was very clean. Great ocean view and we could hear the surf. We particularly appreciated the bedroom at the front of the condo; this was the first time we had a bedroom up front and we thought that was great!

My husband and I were so happy with our stay at Sunset Kahili. It was stocked with what we needed to make our stay easy and stress free. It even had beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler. The condo was in a great location for us and we were thrilled with the views. Turtles in the morning and the beautiful sunset every evening. The staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals made our planning so easy and were always quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely use the company again and stay at Sunset Kahili!!

The location for us was perfect. We were able to easily get to all our planned outings. Parking was easy. The balcony was perfect for enjoying sunsets and eating breakfast. My wife LOVED hearing the different bird calls. Spouting Horn could be seen from the balcony!

The condo was tastefully decorated with a Hawaiian theme. The bed was very comfortable as were the chairs and sofa. The tv was great for getting the local weather.

The property was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. We did not know that the property was for sale. So there was no oil, spices, sugar, or salt. We had to be creative with our cooking as groceries are more than on the mainland and we did not want to bring back leftover groceries.

We took a kayak trip with Ali'i Kayaks to the Secret Falls. A bus tour of McBride & Allerton Botanical Gardens should not be missed. Blue Ocean Adventures offers an adventurous snorkeling tour off the Na'pali coast.
The Dolphin PoiPu had a great seafood dinner.

Best thing about this unit was the view - it was awesome. The unit is very old and in need of a LOT of repair. Our stay was impacted by the unit directly above us having large numbers of people each night having parties; loud music, pounding, screaming, etc. The entire building was talking about it.

This was our second time to visit Sunset Kahili, but our first time in unit 203. It is very nice and has a lovely view of the ocean from the lanai. The kitchen is updated with nice finishes and appliances. We appreciate having washer and dryer in the unit. The furniture is nice as well. The neighbors in the complex were friendly. The pool was well-maintained, but really *cold* (uncomfortably cold and not enjoyable). It would be nice to have a few more towels and beach towels available. While we were there, there was noisy construction going on across the street all day, every day. We had some really rainy weather while we were there that resulted in some apparent condensation that seeped up through the seams in the tile and made the floor feel wet, but it cleared up when the weather did. We like the location of Sunset Kahili, and it seemed like Poipu had better weather than other areas of the island. We especially enjoyed breakfasts and evenings on the lanai, listening to the waves. We saw whales spouting one morning! Old Koloa Town is worth exploring--lots of fun shops there. Paco's Tacos was good. We did the Kauai Backcountry tubing adventure, and it was fun! I would recommend this property to others!

The condo was cute, clean and very well situated. The rental agency was most helpful, professional and friendly. We did not rent a car so particularly enjoyed the accessibility by walking to several beaches, restaurants, shopping snd market. These condos are really the best place to watch the sunset!!
