Description

Punahele Hale means "favorite house" in Hawaiian and will surely make your next visit to the Garden Island special. Situated across from beautiful Anini Beach, it can only be described as a perfect getaway.

Bask in the sun, swim in sparkling waters, marvel at spectacular sunsets, walk in Paradise as warm tropical breezes soothe you or just simply relax.

The house is well-equipped and nicely appointed with a kitchen, Japanese soaking tub, ceiling fans - - - even private outdoor showers set amidst lovely gardens.

Recreational activities abound right in your own front yard. Anini Beach has excellent swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing. Further north there are sightseeing boat tours along the Na Pali Coast, kayaking on the Hanalei river and hiking trails into Kalalau Valley. Princeville is only five miles away with excellent golf, horseback riding, tennis, shopping and restaurants.

This home flows the views and breezes though the entire lanai,& living room. Our mornings Rooster rise, to the picturesque Sunsets revolve around these incredible surrounds.
The home is fully equipped for all your cooking.
The 2 outdoor showers was everybody's favorite amenity. The quiet beach at the front door is the hidden gem.We have returned to this beach over ten years, with more to come. Snorkeling is outstanding, many sea turtles,endless colorful fish.
The KVR team really exceeded in all the planning services.

We love Anini Beach for the reason that it's so quiet and the waves are calm for our children. We had the best time in this quiet abode for the week. The views are stunning and it brings so much peace just soaking it all in. The property was very clean and also secure. One thing to note is that it's not far from the public campground and we did have a few homeless people parking not far from us as well as some people camping out. It was absolutely no bother and never had any issues but wanted to share that experience as well. We would definitely stay again!

It was an amazing location and a very “local” feel. My family enjoyed the incredible sunrise and spectacular sunsets every day. We met the local wind surfers and they shared their experiences at Anini beach. I grew up in Kailua, Oahu and this house took me back to the days of my youth.

The house sits just steps from the beach. The view from the lanai of the ocean is amazing. We loved watching beautiful sunsets every night and even got to see the “green flash “. The house itself is well equipped. It does need some updates and repair. All in all it is a beautiful place and somewhere I will definitely return to.

Our booking in Princeville had a problem, so Phoebe from KVR kindly moved us to Punahele Hale, a wonderful location for relaxing. An expansive ocean view, a lovely deck to hang out on and watch waves, and close to Princeville, Hanalei, and Kilauea.

This place was great we come to Anini to snorkel thru the years and wanted to stay close to the beach we love. It was awesome the outdoor shower was my favorite thing after coming back to get cleaned up. The house furniture was very comfortable unlike a lot of wicker Seats. Lots of room for 4 people. We hope to come back and stay here again I am sure it will not be hard to get another couple to join us

This is our 3rd time renting Punahele Hale and I plan to return. This years weather was rainier than I prefer but overall a great vacation. House comes complete with just about everything you could need for a relaxing beach vacation. The staff at KVR are super responsive and very easy to deal with. Already looking forward to our return trip!!

The owner and staff make visiting Kauai a seemless experience. Efficient,helpful , friendly and knowledgeable. This was our 12th visit to Kauai and our 4th stay at Punahele Hale, the location is perfect, just steps away from one of the few reef protected beaches in the islands. The house has everything we need for a great stay, especially the large lanai. We will be back.

The view from the lanai (front porch) and from the living room is breathtaking! You can hear the ocean at night from your room as you go to sleep. The beach is steps away. Anini is a beautiful beach on the island of Kauai and you will not be disappointed in your stay here. The house has everything you need and you will spend most of the time outside. We loved the outside shower and our daughter loved the soaking tub! We loved every minute of our stay here. We highly recommend Punahele Hale and look forward to staying again.

This house is a very comfortable place to stay and in a great location. The house comes well equipped with many amenities, such as beach chairs and an outdoor barbecue. Its a short drive to get to find good restaurants and shops to get supplies.

We LOVED the location of this house. This was our 3rd rental on Kauai in the last 3 years and this BY FAR had the most magnificent view. We loved it enough that we have booked again for the same time period this year. Kitchen is fully equipped and house was clean upon arrival. The crew at Kauai Vacation rentals are awesome to work with and very responsive to emails.Can't wait to get back "home"!!

We loved the lanai! We spent most of our time there. Loved watching the waves, the light, and the weather patterns. The BEST SHOWER EVER, inside and outside. We've been coming to Kauai for 25 years; usually stay in Hanalei. This was our 1st time to Anini. We will be back!

The location is beyond beautiful. The house is so cute and homey and very comfortable without being too formal - perfect for the beach and the lanai is such a great place to hang out to eat or rest and enjoy the view. KVR provides such great service; it was so nice to have keys and driving directions waiting at the car rental when we arrived.

We loved watching the view from inside and out on the porch. Lots of snorkeling in front of the house. It has been nicely fixed up; painted, new counters, bedspreads, etc. I love Punahele Hale. It feels like my own home when I am here.

We stayed at Punahele Hale for a week. This house is perfection and honestly the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen has been remodeled and the pics also don't show that the lanai is the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The neighborhood is quiet and the garden in the back is small but lovely. We have rented many places on-line and several have been misleadingly awful. This home is the first that was far better than the pictures show and I highly recommend staying there.
