The people working in the Kauai Vacation Rentals office were wonderful to work with. They helped me sort things that I couldn’t figure out, like how to get the lock open! And no matter how many questions I asked, they were always friendly and funny and I enjoyed talking to them.
As for the condo, it was clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet. I could hear the birds singing, and the trees swaying in the breeze. And yes, of course the roosters! I really appreciated having the snorkel equipment, boogie board, sand chairs, cooler, hair dryer, and all the other conveniences that made my stay just that more fun.

This studio unit was very well laid out and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay in Kauai. It felt like plenty of room even though it was all one big room. There was a problem with the tv but the management company and then the resident caretaker had it looked after very quickly! We really enjoyed the pool and the beautiful gardens around Prince Kuhio. We also really enjoyed several friendly conversations with other guests around the pool.

This is the second time I've stayed at Prince Kuhio although at a different unit the first time. I think the Prince Kuhio is a great spot but the unit this time was disappointing. It needs some updating and I felt the unit was being neglected. The property management company(Kauai Vacation Rentals)on the other hand was excellent and I would use them again. I would not recommend this unit.

This is a great little condo in a great location by the beach. Walked to the Beach House restaurant and some shops easily. The A/C looks small but cooled the place down quickly. Once I figured out parking it was easy. Great find!

This location was a perfect location for us, close to beaches, snorkeling, shops, restaurants, farmers markets, and sites to visit. The accommodation was a clean, quiet, and had all the supplies, dishes, beach towels, beach chairs, you name it, it was available to us to use during our stay. Kaua'a Vacation Rental staff are great to work with and were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely use their rentals again. Mahalo and until we meet again - Aloha!

Our annual vacation at PK's did not disappoint. Condo 334 was very clean, offered a very comfortable bed with a well stocked kitchen and linens. One small point was the shower/bath plug did not drain very well at times. Apart from that we would easily rebook condo 333 in the future.

Prince Kuhio is a wonderful place to stay. I had a studio condo which was spacious enough for two adults, with a full sized kitchen loaded with all the amenities. I had a condo overlooking a gorgeous view of the lush tropical gardens and pool. The place was extremely clean with the most comfortable bed, linens and pillows. The air conditioning worked great. Right across the street you have easy access to beautiful stunning beaches. There you can enjoy your fun in the sun as well as watch surfers. I would suggest having some sort of transportation to get around the island. There is a fantastic restaurant (The Beach House) for a special occasion nearby, but other than that, places to eat are not in close proximity. I would definitely recommend a stay at Prince Kuhio. At Prince Kuhio on Poipu, there's a variety of different sized condos to suit everyone's style and budget. So easy to make reservations, with actual people who will talk to you from Kauai Vacation Rentals, about anything places and Kauai has to offer.

This studio apartment was all we needed & reasonably priced. Super comfortable king bed, nice kitchen with all the necessities (including a dishwasher), & gorgeous views from the balcony. The complex was quiet, well-maintained, & beautifully landscaped. The only disappointment was not being allowed in the pool--the rules stated that it was only for residents & the gate was locked. Besides that, we loved it & would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation getaway.

My husband and I went for a wedding, and the place was just what we needed. Everything was clean; it had a great view of the pool and palm trees, which were very tropical. The only bad thing is that we were on the third floor and there were no elevators; therefore on the first day when we got there, we had groceries and our luggage, just imagine. Everything else was great, thank you for letting us spend a great week in your place.

We had an amazing time exploring Kauai with the Prince Kuhio Studio 334 as our home base! The bed was big and comfy and the studio came with everything we needed for our stay, even extras like beach chairs. My only complaints would be the lack of beach towels (only 2), the chairs facing the TV we not comfortable, and the balcony was tiny and narrow. The grounds are lovely, and the pool is clean. There is an awesome snorkeling beach right across the street where we saw a sea turtle and lots of fish. I would for sure stay here again in this complex, especially in the winter, since it was always sunny when we got back to Poipu, even if it was rainy somewhere else on the island!

We really enjoyed our stay and felt we had everything we needed. The kitchen has everything you need, beach towels and plenty of bath towels, wash clothes and hand towels. A/C was great! You do need to climb stairs as this unit is on the 3rd floor; but we didn't have a problem with it. Parking is limited but there is street parking. Great help from the rental group; tips, directions, emails with info, and gifts at check in. We would definitely go back! Great location as well.

Our flight came in late but they made sure we received our keys after the office was closed, which was very helpful. The location is nicely situated close to the coast but without ocean view, which was alright because the room overlooks a nice garden area overlooking the pool, so it's quiet and remote. The parking garage is a little tight but ideal for access, so coming and going is quite convenient. Overall, it is a modest, self-serving place to stay without all the hype! My wife and I enjoyed that!

I couldn't recommend this place more. We have stayed at a different resort previously and were nervous to try something new. But the property was beautiful, the location perfect, and the unit was clean and well-stocked. We loved how close we were to everything on the South shore. The bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet. The pool was lovely. Plus, it was significantly less expensive than the alternatives! We would definitely stay here again.

I visit Kauai every year, and stay at PK condos every year. Some units are better than others, but all have been acceptable (as long as you are like me and just need a simple, safe, well kept place to cook and rest my head at night after being in the water or on a trail all day). Do not expect luxury in any way. This particular unit has been one of my favorites over the years. Great price, ample parking, pool, BBQ, well stocked linens, AC, extras like a cooler/ice packs/beach chairs and a well functioning umbrella. FYI: third floor, no elevator; no sofa (just chairs); wish there was a functioning door key locker or electronic entry (hate the worry about losing or forgetting my keys). The South shore's "best" snorkeling and famous sunsets on the Beachhouse lawn right across the street (splurge for cocktails or bring your own). Walking distance to the "biggest" shopping mall. Working with Kauai Vacation Rentals has been the most worry free, hassle free, smoothest for whatever reason (have also used VRBO and airBnb).

First trip to Hawaii and Kauai is a must. The studio apt. At Prince Kuhio was perfect. We were on the second floor and except for not having an elevator to transport bags was ideal.

Our stay on the third floor in Prince Kuhio was fantastic. The efficiency room was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The bed was firmer than we prefer, but we still slept very well. Although it was not a problem for us, renters should be aware that there is no elevator. The grounds and pool are very nice and the shore is near.

Room was clean and had everything needed for our stay. Had trouble with the Wi-Fi when we got there, but they took care of it quickly.
Cooler, beach chairs, and an umbrella definitely got some use! There is snorkel gear as well, but we brought our own. Park in the parking structure behind Lawai beach resort. Lower level is for Prince Kuhio. Closer to the stairs if you park there. Great place to stay!

Location was great, right across from a small beach with secure parking. Rental...mattress was comfortable and kitchen adequate. I had specifically chosen this unit as pictures showed a couch but apparently furnishings were changed as there were 2 wicker chairs in the sitting area which were horribly uncomfortable. The entire studio looked like it had been furnished as cheaply as possible. Doors to bathroom kept falling off their railings, outlets didn't work, etc. We were disappointed in rental but enjoyed location.

A week on beautiful Kauai. Unit 334, perfect size for my sister and me. Right across the street from a small beach to watch amazing sunsets. Was a great home base for all the adventures we took. Very clean cute Studio.

I have stayed at PK condos every year for the past 12+ years. You can’t beat the price for location in Poipu. I was totally satisfied as usual. Older, very basic property, but well maintained.with nice landscaping. Some units much more updated than others, not all have AC - this unit 334 had both. Clean, kitchen well stocked, umbrella/chairs/towels for beach. Not really a resort property you will want to relax at if that is what you are looking for, but really, you are on Kauai, and you should out exploring anyway. FYI: ample parking, no hot tub, no elevators (for those with a lot of luggage), no on site food/drinks, but The Beach House and a snack/shave ice stand right next door. If you want basic, no frills, cost effective accommodations as a home base for exploring Kauai, this is a great option. I have always had a great experience using Kauai Vacation Rentals as well.

We loved this little studio. Perfect for us. The price was doable. It was quiet. We loved the pool area. Great set up.
This is not a luxurious place and the price reflects that. But it is nice. Plenty of towels. Great beach gear. The pool closes at sunset so it is quiet at night. Comfortable bed. Clean. The only negative I can even think of is that the sliding door into the toilet room wants to come off of the runners so you need to open it slowly. Not a big deal.
100% satisfied.

This place was perfect for mybwife and i to saty. Everything we needed was in the rental. It was really nice to have beach chairs and umbrella available. The location is nice and close to many beaches and attractions.

Loved everything about our visit and we'll definitely be back. This property is small in a good way--intimate instead of huge and sprawling. The pool is very refreshing and one end is deep enough to jump in (so many pools are only 3-4' deep these days). There is much right within walking distance, including a lovely little park across the street for watching sunsets.

The unit was perfect for our short stay! Right down the street from one of the best snorkeling locations, sunset spots, and restaurant (beach house) and just a short 5-10 minute drive to everything else. The rental itself was clean, comfortable, and well stalked with everything we needed for a great stay! We HIGHLY recommend!

The condo was perfect, it had everything needed. The stove fan didn't work was the only problem.
The huge disappointment was the pool chairs and umbrellas were not put out until my last week. That is the reason for a 4 instead of a 5. When I called the rental agency they brought me an umbrella that day which helped.

We had stayed on the north side for half of our vacation and wanted to stay on the south side for the other half. Poipu was a perfect spot since it was still just minutes from Lihue. Booking the stay was very easy and Kauai Vacation Rentals is fantastic in it's role as manager. They were prompt, courteous, and very helpful. The studio condo at Prince Kuhio was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The courtyard garden is beautiful and well maintained. Shopping and dining was within walking distance, but we tended to have dinner at the condo and enjoy the peace and quiet of the quaint lanai. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider this unit and Kauai Vacation Rentals for future visits to this beautiful area of Kauai.

This rental had everything you have at home. Very well appointed. The bed had an exceptional mattress not found in a lot of other rentals. Very comfortable. Very private and quiet and very tropical garden. Also very affordable.
