cozy and comfortable stay in sunny popiu!
We had an amazing experience at Prince Kuhio! Walking distance to Lawai Beach and Baby Beach and the Beach House restaurant. The condo had all the essentials for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The added bonus, the beautiful ocean views from the balcony. Perfect for when sipping on your morning coffee or watching the sunset during the evening. I will definitely return to this condo whenever I plan another trip to Kauai!

amazing place to stay in poipu
We had an absolutely fabulous time staying at Prince Kuhio 212. Everything was exactly as advertised, with beaches, shopping, and access to activities all closeby. The condo offered everything needed for a pleasant stay, including beach towels and chairs, plenty of bathroom/shower supplies, and a kitchen that allowed for all kinds of culinary needs. We highly recommend the place, and will look into staying again on our next visit.

perfect place for 2 in an excellent location!
Have stayed in the Poipu/Koloa area multiple times and this place was wonderful! Well stocked and very clean and comfortable. Would most definitely stay here again. The grounds were beautiful with a great parking garage.

great condo in poipu
Stayed at Prince Kuhio for a little over a week. It was a great condo and a great location. We felt like we were at home there. The kitchen was great and stocked with many appliances and utensils needed to cook many of the meals that we made while there. The bed was super comfy. There is no AC, but that wasn’t much of a problem. We left the sliding door open in the bedroom to allow air to flow through until we heard the roosters. Then we’d get up and close it and fall right back asleep. And is located across the street from The Beach House Rest and Lawai Beach. We’ve not gone to the right of the restaurant several times. We took walks to Holoholo Grill, local shopping, and evening walk, going past the restaurant. On our evening walk, we brought a flashlight and saw crabs on the beach and other critters here and there. We had the greatest time and felt so relaxed and comfortable in this home! So thankful!

great location, lovely views
This was our second stay at the Prince Kuhio condos, but our first stay in PK 212. The unit was bright, airy, and spacious. We enjoyed spending our early mornings and late afternoons on the lanai overlooking Prince Kuhio park and the ocean across the street. The flocks of rose-ringed parakeets that flew in every evening at dusk to roost in nearby trees were entertaining. The sounds of the ocean waves lulled us to sleep each night in the comfy king size bed. We are looking forward to returning again in 2026.

kauai march trip review
We were quite happy with the condo, it was in great shape and we found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. We enjoyed being outside and never even turned on the TVs! We had to make some adjusments to the chickens starting at 4 every morning but were able to sleep through them evehtually.

simple bliss
We find this condo to be attractive and very comfortable. The art work is uplifting. The views of the garden and Prince Kuhio park are so pleasing. And the space is exceptionally well maintained, both indoors and also the grounds.

a very special place
First time in Kauai, came to celebrate a birthday (Bill’s 75th). LOVED the condo. Looking at your picture of the ocean view from the lanai was exactly what we experienced, perfection! The place was immaculate, very comfortable and had literally everything we needed and more. We usually are on the go and don’t hang out in the place we’re staying in but here, we spent more time (mostly on the lanai) and were so comfortable. I was originally concerned about no AC but the breeze was all we needed it added to the island experience. Looking forward to our return visit, highly recommend. A big mahalo! ❤️

even more than we had hoped for!
From the year in advance of our arrival through dropping the keys off as we left the island, everything about this rental experience was great! The rental process was straight forward and simple. Kauai Vacation Rentals was a new company for us and it really felt like a personal experience.
The grounds and facilities at Prince Kuhio are beautiful. The condo was clean, furnished island style and lovely. It felt like I had stepped into a home with all the extras. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the linens were a nice quality. Having a washer and dryer was very convenient.
I can’t wait to return.

our first time to kauai
The condo met and exceeded our expectations. The furnishings were tasteful and the art was very good. It is the cleanest condo in which we have ever stayed. My wife is a germaphobe and was very pleased. We liked the size of the complex which was small and quiet. It was our first trip to Kauai and it now our favorite island! The staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals have been very helpful and wonderful with whom to work!

the best condo in the best location
The condo and the location was everything we could have hoped for. The view was amazing and the kitchen provided with everything we could possibly need or want, including a blender, crock pot, toaster, coffee maker and more dishes, glasses and kitchen gadgets than we have at home. The bed was perfect. The towels soft and plentiful and the task lighting provided perfect. We loved how the condo was thoughtfully curated with comfortable furniture, a small office, and fine art on the walls. We enjoyed the eastern facing lanai and the roosters and sun greeting us each morning. The pool was lovely, and there was a beach with snorkeling just a short stroll away and several other beaches just down the road. There were at least a dozen restaurants nearby and another dozen 5 0r 10 minutes away. This is where we'll stay when we come back.

This condo feels roomy, has good workspace from a built-in desk, a comfortable king-size bed, ocean views from the balcony, and is well-equipped with everything you need, including a floor fan for the intense Kauai temperatures and humidity. No air conditioning! Nice pool area. The decor is "old Hawaii", and the furniture and decor could use some updating, including a door keypad to eliminate the use of a key, a higher toilet, and a grab bar and non-slip mat for the shower.

a beautiful home away from home
From the moment we arrived, I knew we had come to the right place. I woke up to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach, and the roosters and doves welcoming the first light of the sun. I've stayed in Poipu a few times before, but the situation of this property far surpasses others I've stayed in. Super well equipped, we didn't want for anything, and we soon got to know the local area. A snorkelers paradise- every day we swam with turtles and an array of beautiful sea life, just on our doorstep. The rest of the island is easily accessible. Loved every second in this beautiful place. Only two small changes I'd make...more comfortable chairs on the lanai, and the couch was a bit firm for my liking, but I get that its a rental and you want furniture that can withstand the use. The bed was super comfortable.

a perfect vacation
We had a very wonderful experience overall with this property and Kauai Vacation Rentals. The property was in an amazing location—we walked to the little shopping center more times than I can count and enjoyed a few amazing sunsets across the street at the Beach House! The condo was stocked with literally everything we needed minus food and drinks. Not having AC made the days a bit uncomfortable but luckily we were busy with activities around the island so it wasn’t a huge issue! We left the windows and sliding door open at night and slept quite well overall. The sound of the waves at night was just dreamy. Thank you so much for everything! We would stay again and would recommend anyone else considering this property to do the same!

lovely location
The owners have done so much to make this a great stay. The kitchen is the best stocked of any vacation rental. LOTS of glasses, dishes and cookware. You could easily serve a crowd! They also provide beach towels, coolers, beach chairs--all much appreciated. While I would have preferred AC, once you open the shutter windows at the front and the bedroom sliders at the back, the ocean breezes were terrific. The view from the balcony is sublime. The roosters were early risers and LOUD, but beautifully feathered. The location is close to restaurants, touring and shopping, and the condo complex's pool and gardens are gorgeous. We had some challenges with the TV, but that wasn't a huge problem. This was a lovely respite...

loved the view!
We just came home from a fabulous 8 nights in Prince Kuhio 212. The condo was very clean with ample supplies (towels, sheets, cookware, dishes). I just loved the balcony with its view of the ocean. The cooling breeze just made it delightful! The grounds at Prince Kuhio are well kept. We used the outdoor grill a few nights. The pool was rarely busy so it made it nice to really relax. Just wished it opened before 9 am. There is no A/C in this unit but when we opened everything up the breeze kept us cool. I would definitely recommend this local to friends and family.

anniversary vacation
We loved our stay here! Great location, close to great beaches and restaurants. Beautiful grounds. Condo was fully stocked. Great view from the balcony. Very comfortable king sized bed! My only two issues were, parking is not always available, unless you came back early, not even in the parking garage. Also, we got in at 11:30 pm, definitely ready to go to bed and there were no sheets on the bed. Maybe just an oversight, but we had to put our own sheets on the bed.

We had a wonderful 2 1/2 month stay in Kauai. The condo was like a home away from home. All the amenities of home. Walking across the street to watch the sunset was wonderful. Being so close to the beach was wonderful too. It is a great condo to stay in. Will definitely be coming back.

prince kuhio - kauai
The 1 bedroom condo was the perfect size and location was great. The ocean was just across the street with easy access. Memorial field off the deck gave a nice seclusion and ocean view. Kitchen was full stocked. Pool area was nice although we didn't use. Covered parking available. Puka Hawaiian dogs a must near the Poipu Beach.

The condo was very clean and well stocked for our needs. Really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and cooler bag! The location is perfect. The snorkeling beach across the street, good restaurants near by, pool and grill area all helped to make our stay in Kauai most enjoyable. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

beautiful/convenient location near great beaches and restaurants
We greatly enjoyed this condo's location and ocean view. You can easily walk across the street to a great snorkeling beach and have some shaved ice, or walk/drive a short ways away to a shopping center with great restaurants and a weekly farmer's market. Unit is comfortable and has beach towels and such available. We are definitely ready to come back for another trip. :)
