our stay
The property itself was absolutely beautiful, and we truly loved our stay. The location of this property was everything I was able to go on morning runs, walk across to the market, the pool was awesome and being able to walk to dinner it was truly spectacular. Our only disappointment was with the rental company's communication. We never received the email with the check-in instructions, so we didn't know where to pick up the keys. Assuming there would be on-site management, we arrived at the property and then had to make several phone calls before finally reaching someone. We ultimately had to drive back to the management office to pick up the keys, which was an unnecessary inconvenience. When I mentioned that I never received the email they said had been sent on the 9th, I also never received a copy of it after requesting a couple of times nor an apology for the inconvenience. The only issue we noticed with the property itself was that several of the drinking glasses had a cloudy film on them. It may be helpful for housekeeping to periodically inspect the dishes and glassware to ensure they're thoroughly clean. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend the property with maybe just a couple improvements.

relaxing stay
Prince Kuhio fit our needs for our 5 day stay on Kaua’i. It is an older building, no elevator, but not an issue for us. It has an ocean view from the bedroom & patio. Nice cool breeze when windows are open. We only had to use the air conditioner twice during our stay. Our favorite beach was Salt Pond Beach. JoJo’s shaved ice was a favorite treat too.

awesome location
Condo was comfortable, clean, very well equipped and in a great location.
Property management company is friendly and helpful but I think it’s a little ridiculous to have to go to office in Lihue to pick Up/ drop off keys. We were also given the wrong condo keys, thank goodness there was a person on site that could let us in! Property manager let us know about the ceiling-fan in the bedroom that was squeaking very loud and a maintenance person would be in touch, we never heard from anyone.
We will definitely be coming back but I will hesitate booking if have to go out if my way to pick up/drop keys..lockbox or keypad lock.

wonderful accommodations, ocean and park view spectacular
My stay at Prince of 210 could not have been better. The condo was spotless, beautifully accommodated, and fully equipped at every turn. Situated in a tropical garden with lovely pool on one side and Prince Kuhio Park and a beautiful bay view on the other, you hear the sound of the waves breaking. It couldn’t have been any better. The owner spends a good deal of time there, and it feels like a home away from home. I am looking forward to returning, book with confidence.

solid condo at reasonable price
Nicely appointed condo was the perfect place from which to explore Kauai. Appreciated the in-unit laundry and air conditioning. Running the air conditioning for 20 minutes after returning each evening was enough. After that open windows and the ceiling fans were more than sufficient for comfort. Good experience. Would recommend.

great place but not a fan of the property management
The unit was great and as advertised! Very comfortable with all the amenities and great location! Clean and walking distance to great restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend the place but the Property Management has a bit to be desired. Very condescending, not helpful and somewhat inefficient. Because of this I might not stay here again. Our family stayed in a unit in the same complex and had a much better experience. It seems in this day and age with key pads/electronic entry, and the fact that there was one right outside the door, the property management made us drive to their office to get the keys and drop them off - and guess what! They had a key pad there for after hour pick ups! Seems like a pretty easy fix but there was no talking with the Property Management. Too bad!

6 night stay in august 2024
Our rental was a lovely unit which had plenty of room for two people with seperate rooms - bedroom, bathroom, Kitchen, laundry and dinning room. It felt like a spacious apartment. Great double wardrobe with full length mirrored doors, plenty of drawer storage too for clothing. There was a real personal touch about the place with a fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances, pots, pans, storage containers, loads of cutlery and crockery that would ever need. A bonus having a dishwasher and clothes washer & dryer in the condo. A lovely tiled Lanai with nice outdoor bar stools and table. The indoor bar stools at the kitchen island bench were so comfy. All the furniture in the living room was comfortable. The bed had a thick soft mattress topper on it which was initially comfortable but a bit too soft for us as were the bed pillows though was nice to have a couple spare pillows in the wardrobe. It was such a treat to get the welcome pack with yummy food treats and so nice they also provided a shopping and cooler bag which we were allowed to take home. The only thing we wished could be changed was the shower - you could not move the head into the centre of the shower because of the shower caddy being in the way. That was really the only real downside to the condo itself. The use of the swimming pool was great & nice to have beach towels and plenty of linen. Coffee machine was great. We would most definitely love to come back to this place again.

prince kuhio poipu
Had a wonderful stay and this amazing well appointed condo in Poipu. If there was anything you could possibly need this condo had it! Plus a/c and a full size in-unit washer & dryer. My husband and I were very comfortable in this unit and would stay here again!

great place to stay.
Great place. Snorkeling was very close and lots of fish. Good restaurants and shopping were within walking distance.

fantastic stay
I loved staying in Prince Kuhio condo 210. It has AC, which we never used because there is a nice cross breeze.
Has a washer and dryer in the condo.
Has a dishwasher.
I didn't notice till the last day we were there but there is a drawer full of games under the TV in the living room.
The place is very nicely decorated with some nice paintings.
Condo was very clean .
Pool is very nice and warm and never crowded
Nice location.
Ocean view and Park view
I would certainly stay here again

a wonderful stay in paradise!
We stayed here in August of 2023. Unit 210 was very well appointed and very comfortable! We loved it! The breeze that came out of the east kept the unit nice and cool for the most part, and we barely needed to use the AC unit in the bedroom. The kitchen is very well stocked. The morning sunrises were glorious! The pool and the grounds were wonderful, and parking was just fine with the additional spots next door when needed. The only issue was the temporary construction going on in the basement for several days of our stay, which were quite noisy, and definitely impacted our ability to take quiet afternoon naps, which is something we enjoy on vacation. We didn't know about the construction until after we booked our stay. Fortunately, it only lasted for the first 6 days, and then it was quieter. But the construction noise definitely impacted our stay in a negative way. Overall, though, we were very happy with the unit, the property, and the location.

prince kuhio condo
We loved the location of this condo. It's walking distance to shops and restaurants, and a wonderful snorkeling spot is practically across the street. The neighbors in the condo were very friendly, and parking is easy. The condo has a lovely koi pond and beautiful plants in the courtyard. My one drawback was that the condo could have been cleaner. On the second day, I got out their vacuum and pulled back furniture to clean up dead bugs, and old food. The vacuum did not work very well, but it got the job done. The washer and dryers need a good cleaning around them and on the knobs. The appliances are dated, and cooking with the old electrical stove was a challenge. Overall though, we loved the location, the people, and our experience in Kauai. Kauai Rentals is very nice to work with, and I would rent from them again.

wonderful stay at prince kuhio in poipu.
Just returned from 2 week stay at 210 Prince Kuhio. It’s in a fantastic location with water view from lanai which also looks over a park. Great sunsets and easy snorkeling 100 m away from complex. Complex is somewhat older but still good with lovely warm pool. Our unit -210- was clean and very well stocked with kitchen gadgets and cutlery/crockery. King bed was very soft so took off the 4 inch foam mattress topper and it was much better. Unit could do with a deep clean behind and under furniture.
Overall would definitely stay here again. In fact have rebooked for next year.

great location and views
We have stayed in this area several times and this unit was considering all factors was the best we have experienced. The lanai had wonderful views of the park as well as the beautiful surf of beach. The condo was furnished with all your needs for cooking in, but it’s just a short walk or drive to some very nice restaurants. We will definitely stay here when we return to Kauai.

paradise found!
We recently stayed at Prince Kuhio #210 and had a great vacation. The location is fantastic...within 100 yards (or less) from the ocean which can be easily seen from the lanai off of the bedroom. The unit is tastefully decorated with a feel of the islands and beach. The grounds are landscaped wonderfully with many species of tropical plants and palm trees. The pool is beautiful and the privacy is great. We cooked several meals on the outdoor grilles on evenings when we weren't dining at some of our favorite restaurants (Beach House, Merriman's, Keoki's Paraduse, Brennecke's). The unit was clean and well appointed. We will definitely be returing to Prince Kuhio 210.

awesome condo!
This is the perfect location on the south side. The beach right across the street has awesome snorkeling and the view is unbeatable! The bed is very comfortable. There is no a/c but when you open the doors you do not need an a/c! There are also ceiling fans and a floor fan if needed. Love this condo would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

perfect poipu condo
I cannot say enough about how perfect this condo was for my husband and me. The location was convenient and so relaxing. Everything was supplied for you except your clothes and any food you would like to purchase for your stay. The pool was wonderful. No air conditioning was not a problem because of the constant breeze blowing through... absolutely loved it all! Check in/out was super easy too; across the street from Walmart by the airport to stock up for your stay. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Would love to come back and stay again!

even better than expected
We stayed in Prince Kuhio 210 for 2 weeks in May 2021. The location is great, a 1 minute walk to Lawai Beach. My husband is an experienced scuba diver and he was impressed with the variety of fish at the beach. The view from the lanai is lovely.
The condo was in great shape, very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with small appliances, nice dishes, cookware, utensils. It had everything we needed for the beach including chairs, towels, umbrellas (we never used)and mats as well as a small cooler. The bed was very comfortable. There were 2 large TVs and lots of games and books. Everything was perfect including service from the management company: the iron didn't work and the management company brought a new replacement the same day. We'd definitely stay here again. A big thank you to the owners who thought of everything - including hooks on the back of the entrance door.
