Description

Large, one-bedroom, first floor condo nestled between Prince Kuhio Park and tropical gardens. The living room has great views of the gardens and pool. You can see the ocean from your lanai and, at night, let the sound of the surf lull you to sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are a clothes washer and dryer in the condo, and local phone service is free.

There are two sandy beaches across the street. Swimming with sea turtles and observing the whales and monk seals is within 100 feet of the condo. Or, you can relax by the pool surrounded by tropical gardens while listening to the sounds of the nearby waterfall. The BBQ area is available for you to enjoy, complete with picnic tables.

There is a nice variety of outstanding restaurants in the Poipu area including The Beach House just across the road. Shops are just a few minutes away in Old Koloa Town, Poipu Shopping Village and The Shops at Kukuiula. You will also want to visit Spouting Horn and National Tropical Botanical Gardens about a mile down the road. Just minutes away are golfing, tennis and horseback riding. At Kukuiula Harbor, there are open ocean dives, ocean tours, sailing and sport fishing.

We were back at KVR's rental in Prince Kuhio's one bedroom condo for the fifth time. This home-away-from-home had everything we needed - Ocean View out the Lanai, a king size very comfortable bed, washer, dryer, dishwasher, fans, beach chairs, umbrella, towels, snorkel gear, fully stocked kitchen. Located next to Prince Kuhio Park and across the street from the ocean and the Beach House restaurant - with a pool, grills, koi ponds, beautifully landscaped - even with a herb garden. Parking off street in lot or in covered garage. Near Kukuiula shopping, running, biking, walking paths and moving sunrise vistas as well as across the street from sunsets!

My wife and I stayed here for a week. Condo was in a great location, and had everything we needed. Complex was quiet, and clean with a great pool to enjoy after a long day. Would definitely recommend, and we’d definitely stay here again!

The unit was great for our two-week stay. It is very well stocked with kitchen utensils and beach gear, which was a bonus. There’s a wonderful breeze that keeps it very comfortable and cool. Highly recommended!

Prince Kuhio 113 is the perfect some away from home for us, two retired Alaskans. The ground floor location with the lovely lanai overlooking the park is so peaceful. The kitchen is complete with quality pans and utensils required to cook. The washer/dryer are convenient in the condo. The king bed is very comfortable and the natural air flow through the condo refreshing. This is our first stay in 113, but not Prince Kuhio as we love the convenient location on Kauai. We will return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you! The views from the room were so relaxing. We appreciated the kitchen was well equipped and that there were beach towels, chairs and snorkel kits. Only suggestion would be a door with a key pad so we didn't need to worry about the keys. We also couldn't figure out the DVD player. Not sure if it was not working or user error. We would definitely return. Amazing location!!!

The nicest thing about reserving a Property with Kauai Vacation Rental - KVR - if the helpfulness and thoroughness of the staff. They understand what you are asking for in your rental, then KVR comes through! And if you have questions - they happily answer. If you can't get your TV on the right channel, for instance, someone will walk you through it, etc. Very happy!

What a wonderful place, so quiet (minus the roosters - LOL!). If you are looking for laid back, this is the place!
Plus, everything you can imagine in beach gear is provided & a great kitchen. Love the mid-century Hawaiian vibe!
Wish it was a bit closer to a more relaxing (not near the road) beach. Also, skip the restaurant across the street.

We have stayed in many Prince Kuhio condo units but this one is in a league of its own. Beautiful decor & furniture that completed the tropical "vibe". Kitchen well equipped. Condo unit had everything we needed and more!!!

We have been staying with Kauai Vacation Rentals for decades and we couldn't be happier! On our last trip we locked ourselves out at night around the holidays and got immediate response! Our condo is perfect for us...3rd visit here. All the amenities including washer, dryer in unit, dishwasher, all the beach toys and kitchen extras. Ocean view from Lanai close to sandy, swimmable beach.

Unit #113 at Prince Kuhio was our "home away from home" for 10 days in June of 2021. Our unit was exceptionally well stocked with the necessary furnishings and kitchen supplies that we could ever need. The bed was comfortable, and the unit was clean and very homey.
We would definitely stay here again. Neighbor/owner Paul C. was very friendly and helpful as well.

We have stayed at many units at Prince Kuhio and I'm actually worried that my positive review will make 113 less available in the future - but I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge how awesome this place was.

The property was beautifully landscaped as always !

Parking is tight but totally manageable.

Daily cleaning of the property makes a difference and Prince Kuhio looks amazing

Great unit for a lower price than other comparable units in the area. We stayed for a month and had a great time. The property was well furnished and clean. Only small upgrade would be that the wifi router doesn't seem to reach into the bedroom, whereas neighboring units had stronger signal.

Our first time in Kauai, this location is perfect The property is kept very clean, maintained on a daily basis.. This unit is prime location on the resort, couple steps to the pool, BBQ and the view to the beach is your back yard The unit was equipped with everything from kitchen supplies to beach accessories .

Had a great stay at Prince Kuhio 113. The condo is large and beautifully furnished with everything needed. Having a washer/dryer in the unit is a great convienience. The kitchen is well equipt. The king size bed is great. If you are noise sensitive be aware that the roosters crow at daybreak, but they provide great entertainment while having breakfast on the lanai. We have stayed in many different condos over the years and this one is probably the best we have experienced. The overall ambiance in the complex is great with a super pool and beautiful lush landscaping and koi pond area to walk through. We would love to come back at some point in the future.

We loved our 25-day stay at PK 113! We especially loved breakfast on the lanai! By the time lunchtime rolls around the sun has left the lanai, so we could enjoy lunch out there too, without being roasted alive! Having our own washer and dryer was a real bonus for us, being here for over three weeks, as was the huge selection of books, games and the DVD player to get us through the long dark evenings. As noted by others, this condo kitchen is extremely well equipped! A salad spinner and a rice cooker are so handy and often not found in rentals! There was only one item I wished for........a tray to carry our meals out to the lanai - we used a cookie sheet, worked fine! The gardens and pool area are very well maintained, and Matt, the gardener/handyman is helpful and friendly. We'll be back!

The pictures on the website do not do this place justice. Everything about this rental shows that it is loved & cared for by the owners. There wasn't a thing missing, right down to the martini shaker & glasses. Beach chairs, towels & everything else was there. Most important, the place was spotless & never hot. The fans & trade winds coming through the louvers was more than adequate. We are so happy we found this place. Kauai Vacation Rentals were great. We will call them first when we plan our next trip to Kauai. Mahalo for a great experience.

For the past 3 years we have had the good fortune to stay in Prince Kuhio 113. We love the classic Hawaiian decor. We love this unit and hope to return for many years. We've been coming to Kauai since 1978 but this is our favorite place we've stayed on the island!

We have never found a rental apartment that was as well appointed/supplied as this one. There was not a thing missing that we could have wanted from all the small appliances in the kitchen to all the items for the beach; we were completely satisfied. We also appreciated the KVR welcome gifts. An excellent organization. Thank you.

Best vacation we've had in years. What a beautiful island and a lovely condo. Appreciated all the amenities and attention to detail. We will tell everyone we know to stay here when they come to Kauai.

Your condo was awesome! It was equipped with all the comforts of home and then some. Nice to have the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella for the sunny beaches. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for us to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your wonderful condo. It was like our home away from home. We made memories to last a lifetime. What a great location right across from the best snorkeling beach on the island.
