My husband and I recently visited Kauai for 7 nights and stayed at this lovely condo. It was in a great location with a lovely 4+ mile walking trail just outside the balcony. It was great for people watching. The trade winds kept the condo cool, which was a lifesaver! No AC needed. We had all the amenities we needed, although a non-stick egg pan would have been nice! We never used the pool or BBQ area, but they certainly looked inviting! If/when we go back to visit Kauai we would certainly consider staying here again!

The condo has a fully stocked kitchen for preparation and the knives are sharp. We often sat and enjoyed the beach from our lanai since it was so close to the surf. The bed was firm but we brought foam pads which made it perfect. The bathroom was very nice with a rain shower head. We would definitely use this property again if we come again to Kauai.

2nd Floor/Pono Kai Oceanfront 
My husband and I spent 3 weeks in your wonderfully appointed condo! We have stayed at many other condos in Hawaii and by far this condo was one of the best!! It was so well stocked we felt like we could live there full time! (Wish we could!) The kitchen was a dream as there was absolutely everything you would need to prepare a gourmet meal!!(Including sharp knives that actually cut!) Granite counter tops, under cabinet lighting, heavy cooking pans and tile floors throughout was great. Wonderful bed and great pillows made it a great place to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. The rain shower was awesome in the beautifully tiled bath. When we opened the extra large closet we were amazed to find it so well stocked. Along with the "usual": beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and sand mats there was a fanny pack, 2 coolers, an assortment of laundry/cleaning supplies, vacuum, ironing board and iron. The condo was immaculate when we arrived (A big thank you to your cleaning people!!) and the building and grounds were awesome and clean. We chose to stay in Kapaa because it was "half way" to the south and north shore. It was perfect for all our hiking, snorkeling, and sight seeing needs. From the on site property managers to the off site management company we were treated with smiles and "Aloha" at all times! It was a great 3 weeks in paradise!

The condo we rented at Pono Kai was exactly as pictured...perfectly equipped, including beach stuff, and very attractive and comfortable. The service from Kauai Vacation Rentals was exceptional. They handled the entire process so smoothly. Leaving all the info needed to get to and enter the condo with the rental car agency was ingenious. I wish all rental agencies would do that.

Pono Kai is close to stores, bike rentals, shaved ice and the walking path along the ocean and its right on the ocean.This is our 4th visit to the island. We love the "small town" feel of Kapaa and its close proximity to the rest of the island.

We stayed here last year and was so impressed with the location, all the amenities and how great and easy to rent using Kauai Vacation Rentals. We decided to return again this year. We loved all the upgrades that were made to B203. This condo is beautiful, right on the water's edge with a view that is fabulous. It was stocked with everything you could use at the beach and pool plus if you wanted to just relax indoors, there is a full library and movies to watch. The WiFi was a nice addition this year and the new furniture is gorgeous. We already placed our request to return next year. We love that Pono Kai is a smoke free resort and has many activities to keep their guests happy. Pool side massages and the craft vendors were my favorite. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are well tended to. Love Pono Kai B203!!
