great unit and location.
The unit was very well stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils. It advertised AC which it had in the kitchen/ living room and the primary bedroom. The other two bedrooms and all bathrooms do not have vents. I understand the trade winds will keep the breeze flowing , but it should have been better described in the description. The rental company was very responsive and had good communication. The beach umbrella was broken and after reaching out to the company, they quickly brought a replacement. The coolers and beach chairs were very nice to use. Overall, a great unit.

spacious vacation condo
We had a great stay at the property. Barely needed A/C because the weather was pleasant. But the one day we used it, the main rooms cooled down very well. There were some places in the kitchen that needed to be wiped down a bit (finger marks on microwave and fridge handles) and the dishes needed to be run through the washer again but these were very minor issues. The beds were comfortable and we had ample clean linen. It was a nice spacious unit with lots of privacy between each of the rooms. Very pleased!

wonderful property

pleasant stay and rental
Nice experience. We had a great time, pretty much everything you needed was there. Place was clean and ready to go. Our only items were minor. More sun blockage in the front room, with drapes or better blinds and the large blind in the master bedroom didn't stay up on its own, needed to hook around the plastic hook provided. Knives were super sharp which was great!

excellent unit
This was our 2nd visit to this exact unit. First visit was 7 years ago. The unit has been well maintained over those years. The 3 bedroom units are spacious for a large family. This unit is well stocked for anyone looking to visit the island.

march stay at plantation at princeville 1521
This condo was exceptional! They have snorkelling equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and too much other stuff to list. We had a fantastic stay in late March 2025 for a week here. The condo also has most every amenity stocked in it that you would need at home except for the food and drinks!! A nice place to stay for about the same price as some of the hotels in Kauai! Would recommend this place anytime for a stay in Kauai.

fantastic condo princeville
Our party of 4 adults enjoyed our stay in Princeville. The 2nd floor condo was quire and well appointed: fully stocked kitchen (including foil, wrap, coffee filters, spices), washer dryer with detergent, A/C, huge tub in master, sheltered patio with table and comfy chairs, beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear too! We could walk to grocery and a several restaurants and golf, better restaurants nearby in Hanalei. Enjoyed nearby Anini beach and botanic gardens. We'd definitely stay here again.

fantastic property and amenities
The property is amazing with a beautiful layout and design. All of the amenities one could ask for in a vacation rental. The one drawback I would say is the extra bedrooms and bathrooms are not air conditioned, however, this aspect did not hinder our stay and gratitude to the owner for sharing the property with our family.

Stay in a nice 3 bdrm condo in Princeville. Enjoyed the furnishings and the beach accessories while we stayed for
8 nights. The only thing I would consider differently on my
Next stay would be AC in the non master bedrooms. It appears most of the 3 bdrm condos don’t have venting in the non master rooms. Although fans were provided, they were too stuffy and hot. I was aware of this from the reviews, but did not expect the poor air circulation. Otherwise we enjoyed the amenities.

nice place for a family getaway
We had a terrific time on our 60th anniversary. Our extended family rent a place nearby. We were extremely satisfied with the condo we rented. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms most comfortable.

plantation at princeville condo
Nice tidy condo. While relatively small indoor space, the large lanai adds a lot of usable room (you can sit at least 6 outside), and the positioning of the windows makes the inside feel much bigger. Galley kitchen was very efficient to use.

kauai stay at plantation
What a wonderful week in Kauai. Our visit brought my family of 4 and an additional couple of friends to this paradise island. The stay at Plantation was perfect for us. Each day we would hit a different beach, hike, or excursion and return back to a perfect setting of the Plantation where we could relax for an hour or two by the pool, cook up some food in the kitchen, or at the pool and unwind. Everything that wa needed for cooking was readily available. The location made exploring the North shore easy and we planned for a couple of days to head to the other side of the island, with no more than a two hour drive each way.
The unit that we were in was very clean, had plenty of space for 6 people, and having 3 restrooms was nice. Some beach supplies were available in the garage (chairs,umbrellas, a cooler) that made us more comfortable.
Princeville is a quiet resort town with plenty of walking trails and conveniences. It was a quick drive into Hanalei for additional shopping and dining. Overall, our group was extremely pleased with our choice to stay Plantation 1521 and would definitely return.

perfect condo for adults
The condo was exactly what we needed for a family with adult children. Also great for multiple couples. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Clean and comfortable as well. Look forward to our next stay.

Nice condo, does however need to be updated. Dish washer didn't work well or the freezer. Pans did not sit well on stove. Was difficult to cook. The carpet was very dirty and stained. The layout was great for our family. Over all nice and was in great location for us.

great condo, could have done without the roofing
Overall great condo and great complex. Loved the pool and the location. Loved everything about the insite of the condo, however, no one told us the entire condo complex would be getting new roofs and paint so we were woken up early each morning by roofers and every time we left the condos the painters were all over us asking if they could paint the doorway and things. That was annoying!

an amazing week staying at a beautiful place!
I had the task of finding a place for myself and 3 other longtime friends to stay in Princeville area of Kauai. I found this place and we couldn’t have been happier. The location was perfect and the unit was beautifully furnished and very clean and comfortable. Besides having a well stocked kitchen, with everything we needed, the garage held beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards for our use. Fabulous!

Really nice condo with pool access. Went to Hanalei for swimming on the beach, which is a drive. Close to grocery store and restaurants in Princeville. Rental was big and spacious. Easy to use.

already planning my return...
What a trip!! Comfortable, clean, spacious, and well-stocked home with all of the things I need to make the transition from home to vacation seamless. We pulled our energy together and stopped at Costco before driving to Princeville and I couldn’t have been more grateful for that. Odds and ends were easily available at the grocery store at the front of the community, and the drive to the beach was as easy as it was beautiful. Can’t wait to return!!

overall pretty good
The condo was very accommodating for our family and we had a great time. Most all was a positive experience. It was clean and had all the necessary supplies as a standard rental would have. Grounds are very clean and pool was nice. A few negatives were that the corners of the granite countertops were fairly rough and very unfortunate for my 3yo to keep hitting her head, the additional bedding in the closets were not washed and just balled up and we had to wash them. Lastly the unit does have AC however only has registers in the main room and the master bedroom. The AC was a big problem as were visited in October but if in summer months I’d imagine it would be able to keep up.

princeville plantations
This unit was nice, the view was not as good as my prior visits it was like being in a fish bowl and they are regular visitors at the garbage cans rummaging through the cans at 2-5am which is hard to ignore, the gym rules with one person at a time was a bit much and not necessary. Providing some of the simple stples like salt and pepper or spray for the cookware would have been a plus.

dreamy getaway
We loved this quiet, clean & peaceful place! The beds were cozy, the kitchen was well stocked, lots of clean fresh towels & lovely outdoor sitting area. The washer & dryer really came in handy & the management was quick to respond and very helpful. Beautiful decor & cozy neighborhood. Perfect place for a nice early morning or evening walk. Close to the golf course and gorgeous ocean views! Lots of breathtaking hikes within 10 minutes. We will definitely come again!
