The location is perfect for a quick morning swim before heading out for the day. The 4 bedrooms worked well for our group, bathrooms were nicely updated, plenty of hot water and great towels. The house is a wonderful older simple island style home with a great back yard. Yes the kitchen could use an update, but all appliances worked and plenty of kitchen tools for cooking. The house is exactly as pictured. Many of the wooden doors and drawers would benefit from being planed so they don’t stick as much.

For a number of years we have been renting the Plantation Cottage for my wife and me and the Pane Road Hale next door for our family. The combination of the two properties provides plenty of room for our family. We particularly like the location close to the beach.

We had a dreamy five days in this well appointed property with a great location. The home and property were as described. It was a comfortable, serene step back into time to a simpler life. The uniqueness and simplicity of the kitchen was charming. We were traveling with a toddler and were pleasantly surprised by all the items in the home to accommodate this. Just lovely!

My family had a wonderful experience renting the house in Poipu. The space was clean and well supplied and very spacious. We appreciated the keyless entry and not having to stop over to an office to pick up keys. The home is absolutley lovely and you cannot beat the location.

Our family loved this home! It was so comfortable for all of us, including my 6 and 15 year old granddaughters. The large yard was a wonderful hangout place. There was plenty of towels, beach chairs and toys to keep us playing at the beach and house. We loved the large gatherings spaces as well as the private, quiet areas. Will rent again if we have a large group. Can’t beat the short walk to two great beaches!

Our stay was incredibly comfortable! This place has everything you need. I am a plant based chef and found the kitchen to have a robust selection of pots, pans, utensils, and even some seasonings! The walk to the beach was perfect. Not far at all and by the time we got to the house we were all dry. The temperature of the house remained comfortable and we loved having the windows open with the fans circulating the fresh Hawai’i air!

We rented the Pane Road House so our family could join us on our annual trip to Poipu. They found it very comfortable for 7 people.

The home is very spacious with 2 large bedrooms, 2 smaller bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large common living area with dining space, and a small, but well equipped kitchen. It easily accommodated our 7 family members. They really enjoyed the large, private back yard.

The property is well maintained and only a block from Brennecke's Beach. We have reserved it again for them next year.

It is an older place which we quite like, but that does mean the kitchen is a bit dated and doors stick. But it had everything we needed. We stayed in December and with the louvres open and fans the house was always a comfortable temperature by day and night. We would be happy to stay here again. We really enjoyed the Napali Coast tour we did, as well as several restaurants nearby.

Best location! This house is a little dated (plus no AC, no dishwasher) BUT the location made up for it! Love the front and back yard, and it actually has a 4th bedroom too. NEED MORE FLOOR FANS THOUGH!!

We were very happy with the house on Pane Road. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant. The road is quiet. The nearby beaches worked for experienced boogie boarders and our young grandchildren. We loved seeing the sea turtles and seals. The house was roomy and comfortable. While I wouldn't call it a luxurious home, it was clean, well-equipped and offered privacy. It was perfect for us. If asked what could make the house better, I'd say an outdoor shower and boogie boards to go with the beach chairs and great linens.

Nice location. KVR staff were very helpful, provided us with a new kettle and sorted out the issues with the phone and television. Garage was very useful. General condition of property was good. However, the wooden floors could have been cleaner. We also reported a hole in the side of the property that allowed partial access for birds.

This was our second stay here - its a home away from home for our 2 families. Beds are comfortable, layout of home roomy. Kitchen small but sufficient. Backyard has BBQ, table w/umbrella & chairs. Lots of room for kids to play. Beach chairs provided in garage for carrying on the short walk to the beach. Also provide beach towels and lots of bath towels. Great communication with staff if you need anything. Both families love it here.
Kalapaki Joe's Restaurant just a short walk behind house. Very good food! Traveled to Hanalei for kayaking and watched grandson & Dad surf. Daddy O's Restaurant in Lihue does excellent breakfast (only). Have to visit Kauai Coffee and there are various Art nights on Kauai. Koloa town is must visit. We recommend this home for a great time on Kauai. Mahalo to rental ladies. A lot of Aloha.

We were delighted by how large and spacious this home was and the backyard really was a delight. Plenty of lawn furniture, picnic table with umbrella. Fantastic airflow with many adjustable louvered windows.

The little house was in the perfect spot for beach time and access to shopping/dining. Plenty big for the family and has a great yard to chill out in. My only negative comment would be regarding kitchen items. It stinks to have to buy all condiments including salt and pepper when you arrive. So buy EVERYTHING you think you will need at the store. Communication was professional but not personal(a packet in a mailbox and emails). Someone else commented about the house having it's quirks, it does and it was still really great! It is dated. Beds were ok but old. It is clean and spacious. I would stay here again!

Sunrises and sunsets were amazing from the beaches just a block or two from this location. Poipu area is a great home base for Kauai. This house had 2 king beds, a full, and 3 twins. One twin was out in the living and dining area, tucked away. 2 full bathrooms plus another toilet. Washer and dryer worked ok as well. Tight squeeze for two full size cars in the driveway, but works best when the first car in parks to the right.

We stayed in an older beach cottage in Pane Road. It is a good neighborhood just one block from Brennecke Beach. The back yard is private and has a mature mango tree with fruit, which we enjoyed picking from each day. The kitchen and bathroom off of the laundry room are very old and could use updating, but the other two bathrooms are nice. The kitchen appliances were newer and very nice. We liked having a washer and dryer to use. We couldn’t get the 2 tv’s to work, even with the cable instructions (they turned on, but couldn’t figure out how to turn on a program). Overall we liked the cottage, especially the back yard, location to the beach, and the spaciousness of the home.

We rented a beautiful, spacious house on Pane Road.
These guys are pros, every conceivable kitchen appliance was there. The rooms were spacious, light filled and had a warm vibration.
This house is two blocks from the beach, very near good snorkeling sites.
I can’t think Kawai vacations enough for their immediate response to every need, their kindness and competence.

My husband and I, daughter and her family and my father all loved this house. It was a perfect fit. Everyone had their own room and accessible bathroom. The sleeping area had a hallway door that could be closed so the baby wasn’t disturbed by our noise during naps. The beach is a short two minute walk down the road. The Marriott Beach Resort where the rest of our family was staying was a 10 minute walk away. The house was well equipped and we loved our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely home. We had three generations housed within the 3 bedrooms and den. It was a short walk to Poipu and Brenneckes beaches. If you are up for an early morning walk, head to the beaches to see turtles and monk seals. Best time ever!!!. We had three generations housed within the 3 bedrooms and den. The house was perfect. More than enough room for 6. The beds were comfy, kitchen was well appointed, TV and Internet service was great, the backyard was inviting. There were beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for the kids. This in itself was a huge bonus. A short walk to the beach from the front door. Would recommend this home and stay there again. Excellent service from Kauai Vacation rentals.

We had the most amazing holiday in Hanalei & loved our week at the Pauole House. We are a family of 6, with 4 boys & the house suited us down to the ground. The beach access is straight across the road, so we were on the beach in seconds. The house is very comfortable & easily fit our big family, we will definitely stay here when we come back to Hanalei!

Price! Location! Very clean, fantastic outdoor shower! All the linens, dishes and gadgets one could want, fans umbrellas, beach chairs were all appreciated.
