yes, we would stay here again stay sept 3-7, 2026
We were allowed to check in 11⁄2 hours early, which we really appreciated. Communication was good.
I worried it would be too warm without A/C, but we were plenty comfortable. The property is beautiful and very quiet. Parking was easy. I walked around barefoot and the floors were very clean—I’m picky about that, so I was impressed.
Two bathrooms, upstairs and downstairs, are identical. Water pressure is better downstairs but both are good. Full-size fridge and freezer with an ice maker. Coffee filters were provided. Washer and dryer worked wonderfully. Plenty of towels and beach towels. Beach chairs, umbrella, and a mini cooler were in good condition. Laundry soap was there when we arrived, which was wonderful. We left Woolite for the next guests.
Wi-Fi was fine. TVs worked. Remotes were a bit confusing at first.
Nene were all over the property—cute, friendly, and wonderful.
The trail to the beach is very steep (easier down than up). It wasn’t the beach I hoped for, but it was beautiful. I couldn’t hear the ocean from the room, which was disappointing.
My only real complaint is cleaning: spiderwebs on the lanai fencing, and the decorative fixtures in the master bath were very dusty. I set a white blouse on one and it came away dirty. The property itself was excellent—the cleaners just aren’t dusting the way they should.
We didn’t use the pool or other facilities. Would book here again: yes.

an ideal location with wonderful views!
Beautiful in every respect, clean, safe great location. We spent 8 nights here and loved it. Evenings on the deck were so peaceful and just a short walk to an unobstructed view of sunset over Hanalei Bay. All the furniture was comfortable and in great condition. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for meals in or exceptional restaurants were just a short drive away. We were so grateful to find beach chairs and even an umbrella were provided. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

nice place, with caveats
Generally excellent facility. But a few of shortcomings: (1) Shampoo was not provided, (2) Knives are plentiful but extremely dull, (3) Two screens were blown off windows and onto the floor during our stay, and (4) In addition to salt and pepper, a few basic foodstuffs would be nice, like seasonings, cooking oil, aluminum foil, etc.

This Condo was great although we weren't in it much, we were to busy exploring. There were 4 of us, a couple of the guest were disappointed that the TV's didn't work and some nights the guest upstairs struggled with the heat as we knew we booked this knowing there was no air conditioning.

breathtaking views
The property is split level and a short walk from the parking lot. It was extremely well-appointed in kitchen and bedrooms. Communication with owners was easy. We loved taking our chairs and a glass of wine out to the point each night to catch the most dramatic sunsets. I missed that there was no A/C in the place, but we didn't miss it as there were plenty of fans and a natural breeze that made day and night comfortable. The unit is an easy walk to Hideaways Beach, our favorite.

august is hot
We were moved to this unit for our final three nights from our selected unit due to a roofing project. While we appreciated the rental companies accomodation, the view and privacy offered at this unit did not compare favorably with our chosen unit. Also, an upstairs master bedroom didn't bode well for sleeping in the heat, even with multiple fans. All in all the rental company did it's best to make the most of an unfortunate situation.

vacation getaway
Going in August was pretty tough, this unit has no air conditioning. Beautiful views from the porch, pool and on site restaurant was perfect.

beautiful! great views and location!
We loved our stay at Pali Ke Kia 244. Great location! We loved snorkeling at the beach just down the path from the condos. Queen's Bath was a short walk away. Hanalei and many other attractions near by. Beautiful views and condo. The only suggestion I have for our condo is a washer/dryer upgrade. The washer is super small- we had to do multiple loads to complete laundry. The dryer wouldn't dry completely on a full cycle of high we had to run the dryer a lot. Therefore, the washer/dryer is not efficient and uses a lot of energy/resources. Other than that, the condo was absolutely perfect. We would stay here again!

everything you need in kauai
We had the best time in Kauai, and this was the perfect place for us. Location wise there were many different beaches and many different restaurants close. It was also very nice the house came stocked with beach chairs, snorkling gear etc. it also had a beautiful ocean view, and a short walk to a Hanalei Bay view.

good location but the unit needs updating
Great North Shore location with a lovely view of the ocean. Pali Ke Kua is a quiet, well maintained complex with Nene geese, a beautiful beach, and a super pizza place. The unit itself has a soiled white carpet, scratched kitchen sink, and foam dining room cushions that are falling apart. The furnishings are old and uninviting. This rental could be excellent if the owners put some thought and investment into it. Not worth $400/night (including taxes, fees and charges). I recommend the condo complex but not this unit, in its present condition. Sorry for the blunt assessment, but maybe it will inspire necessary improvements! ��

quiet stay
Our room, 244, was very quiet. Didn't hear much in the way of people or parking lot. The sound of the surf alternated between the bluff and the bay.

the perfect place
We loved our stay here. The binoculars were a nice touch for whale watching. The sunsets around the property were amazing. It had everything we needed. Beach chairs, umbrellas and a boogie board.

princeville perfection
We loved our stay at Pali Ke Kua 244. The location was perfect for enjoying the North Shore and a picturesque place for relaxing. The ocean views were wonderful and we enjoyed watching and listening to a variety of birds on the premises. The condo had all the comforts and conveniences we needed. We would love to return.

excellent stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property in January. It has a great ocean view and a short driving distance to Princeville shopping center, Kai Bar Coffee Roasters at Kilauea, and Lahaina. We went there almost every day for our morning coffee and other activities. Can't wait to go back again!

great location with a great sunset
Large second floor condo has a great view. The house is fully equipped with everything you’ll need. The beach chairs and umbrella were a great surprise. The pool is close too along with shopping, restaurants and a grocery store. Plus the Queens Bath and Hideaway Beach are walkable.

best rental group ever!!!
We have been to Kauai several times, and this is by far the best rental company we've worked with! The location was fabulous, clean, beautiful and perfect spot on the North Shore. But honestly, the staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals & Real Estate bent over backwards to accomodate our needs. I won't rent from anyone else in Kauai!

great family spot

Perfect place to stay with my husband and father in law - beautiful views & sunsets, private beach, comfortably apportioned condo (other than the bulky furniture far too large for the downstairs bedroom - I bruised my shins countless times on the bed frame). We had everything we needed for a lovely week.

Pali Ke Kua 244 was clean, simple, well-maintained, and comfortable. The oceanviews were spectacular, the warm tropical winds were soft. The private beach for this resort community was heavenly. The Napali Coast is the most beauty filled place on Earth!!!The island paradise sounds of birds, trees and flowing waters were so gentle, so peaceful and relaxing. Lovely skies, lushness abound, warm hearted people brimming with the aloha spirit all around. Excellent communications and customer service with Lucy at Kauai Vacation Rentals. Mahalo:)

great complex
The management company was wonderful. The location and property beautiful. Plenty of privacy and beautiful from our Lana. We had regular tv but no cable...we like to watch movies and couldn't get on demand. The unit could use a little sprucing up. There was a big stain on carpet...but generally comfortable beds..loved the showers...kitchen stocked well. We had a fabulous time.

spacious condo with a nice view
We chose the condo for the location and space. Walking distance to Hideaways beach and to the beach next to the Princeville resort. As surfers we wanted to be close to surf spot and also to snorkeling. Our family of 4 fit comfortably in the condo with kids in room downstairs and us up stairs (split level). The view of the ocean from the patio was very nice.
The cons- no A/C so could get quite warm in the afternoon. Closing curtains and visiting the pool or beach helped! Although the condo has a full kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, there are NO food basics, so you couldn’t cook much unless you bought everything -it’s in need of: salt/pepper, cooking spray, foil, coffee filters (I donated a package), (also maybe some pancake syrup, butter, etc). We also needed foil, tape, matches. Bath mats would be nice too. Overall condo was a 3/5 for cleanliness, it’s older so a bit run down (shower grout, kitchen appliances, floors need replacing or refinishing).
The mgmt company was very nice and responsive.
Overall it was a nice experience!
