amazing find
This unit was spectacular- starting with the view- the deck- the overall size- the kitchen- the amenities - the parking- and most of all the location. We’ve been coming to the North Shore for 26 years and this is one of the best places for the money we’ve ever rented.

a little piece of heaven.
If I could change 2 things they would be (1) the kitchen table and stools and (2) I’d get a firmer mattress. Other than that, the unit is in a perfect location, the furniture is very nice and working with Kauai Vacation Rentals is a pleasure. We’ll be back in early December. Thanks.

wonderful view, great location, uncomfortable furniture
The view from the condo and the location are fantastic. Layout was good for 2 couples. Only complaint is the furniture: dining room chairs had no seat backs and living room chairs were uncomfortable. Overall, less furniture in the downstairs bedroom - would be better. There are some large pieces of furniture (monster TV cabinet) that make getting around the room difficult and with smaller furniture they could have fit a King size bed instead of the Queen, and also fit a chair.

great place to stay, beautiful view
Beautiful view and great location. This was our second two-week stay here and we noted the new furniture this year.
KVR responded quickly and professionally when we had a washer problem that was quickly resolved.
A few minor issues: We found some dirty cups in the cabinet and the toaster could use an upgrade. Also, one beach chair is broken and the beach umbrella is on its last leg. I understand that the full face snorkle masks are unsafe but the valve didn't seem to be operable anyway. The full-face masks could be a liability.
We hope to return in 2026 for a third visit.

view is amazing, good shoulder season stay
We enjoyed the view and comfortable unit. Amenities are as described and office staff on site helpful. Pizza at restaurant is surprisingly good. Enjoyed walk to both nearby cliff beaches.
Two problems: Internet service failed for 24 hrs and owners responded strangely, I had to call service provider myself to identify the problem. 2 beach chairs were broken.

tropical paridise!
Wow! I have stayed at many rentals, and this was among the cleanest of them all. Communication from rental management was great with very clear instructions. This unit was very well maintained, and having beach gear available for use (chairs, beach towels, cooler, snorkeling gear) was wonderful! No AC wasn't bad so long as you kept the window slats open and let the breeze through. At times we also allowed the front door to stay open for even more of a breeze. We shut the blinds when needed in the afternoons to keep the direct heat from the sun out. There was enough toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent, soap and paper towels to last a week or more. The best thing about this unit aside from all mentioned already was the AMAZING view from the balcony! My goodness, I don't think it could have been any better. The views out the front door were also beautiful, cocooned in tropical splendor in all directions. My only negative was the living room furniture wasn't the most confortable to lounge in, but since we didn't do much of that, it wasn't bad. Shower pressue was great and the beds were comfy with one on the firmer side and one on the softer side. It was nice being able to do laundry there and the kitchen was well stocked with all you need to cook and eat in. Hikes to Queen's Bath and Hideaway Beach are close for those up for an adventure. Quick trips to Hanalei Bay were regular and worth the short drive for the tranquil waters, beautiful surroundings and ease of getting to the beach. There was delicious food close by as well. Don't miss Nourish Hanalei for delicious and very fresh food and awesome views very close by! I truly hope to return again one day! Had a wonderful time.

excellent stay in paradise
We had a wonderful stay for 1 week in April 2025. The views from the entire condo are incredible. The updated kitchen and downstairs bathroom was much appreciated. The condo is well-equipped with everything you need for outside and inside life - beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler backpack, beach toys for kids etc. We knew there was no A/C and we were there on a particularly sunny week so it was very warm during the afternoon and quite hot in the upstairs loft during this time. The rental company did provided an extra fan during our stay since the blinds on one half of the living room were broken. Overall, a stunning property with all the conveniences you need. Easy parking and lovely pool as well.

absolutely stunning views from this lovely rental
This was our 3rd time staying in Pali Ke Kua and first in this unit. The views are simply unbeatable from the balcony and we enjoyed watching the whales breaching as we sat and ate breakfast each morning. The unit has been remodeled since the pictures were last added so they do not reflect the current furnishings of the condo. The kitchen has all new appliances and is lovely. The bed downstairs was super comfortable and we greatly appreciated such a quality washer and dryer. The beach chairs and supplies were also very nice to have. However, the couch in the living room is very small and extremely uncomfortable and the modern stools at the kitchen table were not even usable. Hopefully those relatively minor issues will be resolved since otherwise, the unit was clean, convenient and the views so wonderful we would certainly stay again.

perfect romantic spot!
Beautiful place, well equipped. We spent a week here and loved staying here. The ocean sounds are so peaceful, especially at night and the view out of the dining room window and patio are amazing. Very nice, safe neighborhood and easy to get to Hanalei when we wanted to.

wonderful condo
Great views of the ocean and the north shore. Easy drive to Hanalei with many shops and restaurants, and a great beach.
The condo was the best equipped condo or apartment we have ever rented. Well stocked kitchen - pots, pans, dishes, glass ware and utensils. Comfortable furniture.
Kauai Vacation Rentals was the best to deal with before and during our stay. We had an issue with the wifi when we first arrived, and a staff member resolved it quickly.
We will gladly stay here again on a future trip to Kauai.

My wife and I had a lovely 10-night stay at this unit in Mid-June of 2024. Situated on a cliff it overlooks the Hideaway beach which is 10 minutes from the property. The views featured on the VRBO website is accurate. In short, it is a gorgeous location. We had a very positive experience working with Kauai Vacation Rentals & Real Estate, they are a reputable and professionally run company that made renting the unit easy and straightforward. Staying at Pali Ke Kua 212 is recommended.

great experience with breath-taking views
Must begin by complimenting the professional team members at Kauai Vacation Rentals. Super friendly, compassionate, and eager to make our vacation experience the very best possible. Our unit was as expected and properly advertised. Beautiful ocean and shore uninterrupted views. Our unit was upgraded and well cared for including comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, and quality furnishings. The complex was quiet and close to restaurants and shopping. Top notch beaches are minutes away! Great snorkeling, boating, and surf all near our facility. We will definitely stay here again!

high on view
Condo had everything we needed. Fully furnished & beach equipment.
Even a spray nozzle at sink.
Only small down side was furniture. It was a bit deep for us , needed pillows to help sitting. Couch was very squeaky. Loved having high table & chairs to see over deck railing. Bed was great! We’ve stayed at several condos here & this was best one.

princeville paradise
Words can't describe the view from this unit. From the moment that you walk into the unit and see the 180 degree view of the ocean, your pictures and words don't do it justice to your friends that you send these views back to. We were a little concerned about the unit not having AC, but the breeze and the ceiling fans made that no issue at all. And the discovery that we viewed from our lanai, of the "sleeping Indian chief" with it's headdress coming out of the ocean from the mountain range in front of us, as we watched the sunset every night, was awesome. This definitely will be an annual stay.

Pali Ke Kua 212 was absolutely perfect for our vacation. The unit was well equipped with everything you need and in great condition. The views are breathtaking, the bed is comfy, and the location is great. We traveled all over the island from this spot and we loved coming back every night. Would stay here every time we come back if it's available.

princeville paradise
We loved our week in Pali Ke Kua 212. I selected this condo for the view and was not disappointed -- sunrises, sunsets, every time I looked out.... It takes your breath away every time. The layout of the condo was perfect for our family with two adults and two children. We didn't really cook so I can't speak a great deal to kitchen supplies, but it seemed really well equipped. We also only used the pool once, opting for Hanalei Bay during the day, but it was also great and everyone so friendly. We will definitely reserve this same unit when we return to Kauai! Mahalo!

nice condo with incredible views
We have stayed in several of the condos at Pali Ke Kua. Unit 212 has an incredible view as do all of the west facing condos at PKK. The downstairs was nicely remodeled. The upstairs (loft) was not. Overall the condo is every bit as nice as the photos portray as well as being equipped. Kauai Vacation Rentals are always easy to work with, and offer a great value compared to other rental agencies.

Oh, the view! We enjoyed our stay very much! This is a nicely appointed unit with incredible views. A great place to start the day and also watch a sunset after a day of exploring. The management company was extremely professional as they helped us out with an appliance hiccup and would not hesitate to refer anyone to Kauai Vacation Rentals when considering a trip to Kauai. We are already talking about re-booking this unit for a future trip!

the best condo of our stay unit 212
This condo has a spectacular view and had the best breeze coming through it in the evenings. It became our gathering place of family and friends at night. The sound of the ocean was also great in this unit. One disappointment was a note on the dishwasher that it was not working and was scheduled for repair. That didn’t happen during our week and made it more cumbersome cleaning the plates and glasses as our gathering place. I would still highly recommend this condo. The cost was higher than the others but that view and sound were really amazing.

what a view!
The view from this property made it just a delight to wake up to every day. We loved that it was an end unit so that we could see both ways. The condo was well- furnished and beautiful. Super clean with every amenity we could want. LOVED it!

pali ke kua perfection
Stunning views and well appointed condo. This was perfect for the two of us. One bedroom plus a loft bedroom we did not use. Owners supplied everything we needed for cooking, beach, first aid, etc. no air conditioning, but we didn’t need it with the cool breezes at night and ceiling fans. We will stay here again. The condo was very clean and property management was great. Easy check in and check out.

serene rental home with stunning views
My husband and I found the rental home to be exactly as pictured and described online. It was so clean and obviously well-maintained. The color scheme and decor is tropical and restful, although the couch and chair cushions are pretty worn down, and should be replaced. We ate our breakfasts and lunches on the high-top table on the balcony...always loving the view to the water and mountains, with beautiful palms and foliage at evert turn. The balcony would benefit from a chaise lounge or two. The kitchen was fully outfitted for our needs; however it was missing a shot glass for our tropical hand-crafted cocktails. The sound of the ocean waves heard at night in our main floor Master bedroom lulled us to sleep in the wonderful bed with quality linens. The bathroom was huge, with soft and luxurious bath towels. We were able to find moderate to fine dining between our Princeville location and hour's drive away. Driving farther south than that we felt was too far. We loved dining at Hukilau Lanai, Sam's Ocean View, Gaylord's, and Duke's. Capt Andy's Sunset Dinner Cruise was breathtaking, and the grilled steak/shrimp dinner was outstanding. We also enjoyed the (adults only) Kauai Rum Safari at the Kilohana Plantation. We picked up Indian food from one of the Food Trucks in Hanalei that was really delicious. Shopping in Princeville, Hanalei, and Kapa'a was diverse and enjoyable. We discovered two beaches that were easily swimmable. Although we did not get down to the more-populated Poipu area, we would definitely come back to the North side of Kauai again, and would also stay in this wonderful rental home. We highly recommend it!

paradise view
Lovely condo with a postcard views of the ocean and nearby Hanalei Bay. Well equipped kitchen and a particular comfortable bed in main bedroom. Nice access to swimming pool, walk down a path to a slender beach where you can snorkel and dip in the water.
