Description

At Pali Ke Kua 212, you will enjoy gorgeous views of Bali Hai and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Sit out on your private lanai to enjoy this scenic panorama while the palms trees sway in the breezes. You will want to watch for frolicking dolphins and the occasional boat sailing by. And during the winter months, you will see humpback whales playing off shore. It's quite awesome! These gentle giants migrate from Alaska in winter to breed and give birth. And they do seem to like putting on a show for us . . . leaping out of the water and then splashing back down! What fun!

There is an extra room which is a loft style open bedroom.

It's just a short walk to the swimming pool where you can enjoy a refreshing dip or a soothing rest in the hot tub after a busy day. You can watch the colorful skies of sunset here or on your lanai with a cool, tropical beverage. Now comes the big question: Dine in or eat out tonight? Either one is great!

It's a short drive to a variety of restaurants, many wonderful beaches and exciting activities. What a wonderful place to call home!

We had a wonderful stay for 1 week in April 2025. The views from the entire condo are incredible. The updated kitchen and downstairs bathroom was much appreciated. The condo is well-equipped with everything you need for outside and inside life - beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler backpack, beach toys for kids etc. We knew there was no A/C and we were there on a particularly sunny week so it was very warm during the afternoon and quite hot in the upstairs loft during this time. The rental company did provided an extra fan during our stay since the blinds on one half of the living room were broken. Overall, a stunning property with all the conveniences you need. Easy parking and lovely pool as well.

This was our 3rd time staying in Pali Ke Kua and first in this unit. The views are simply unbeatable from the balcony and we enjoyed watching the whales breaching as we sat and ate breakfast each morning. The unit has been remodeled since the pictures were last added so they do not reflect the current furnishings of the condo. The kitchen has all new appliances and is lovely. The bed downstairs was super comfortable and we greatly appreciated such a quality washer and dryer. The beach chairs and supplies were also very nice to have. However, the couch in the living room is very small and extremely uncomfortable and the modern stools at the kitchen table were not even usable. Hopefully those relatively minor issues will be resolved since otherwise, the unit was clean, convenient and the views so wonderful we would certainly stay again.

Another relaxing and most enjoyable stay at Pali Ke Kua 212. The unit is very well equipped and the location is perfect. The new living room furniture is great. The new dining table & stools are quite stylish, but very small and extremely uncomfortable.
Everything else was perfect as always. We have stayed in this unit 5 or more times and always enjoy returning. The dining room furniture may preclude that happening.

Phoebe, Gloria and Alicia were extremely pleasant to deal with.

Beautiful place, well equipped. We spent a week here and loved staying here. The ocean sounds are so peaceful, especially at night and the view out of the dining room window and patio are amazing. Very nice, safe neighborhood and easy to get to Hanalei when we wanted to.

Great views of the ocean and the north shore. Easy drive to Hanalei with many shops and restaurants, and a great beach.

The condo was the best equipped condo or apartment we have ever rented. Well stocked kitchen - pots, pans, dishes, glass ware and utensils. Comfortable furniture.

Kauai Vacation Rentals was the best to deal with before and during our stay. We had an issue with the wifi when we first arrived, and a staff member resolved it quickly.

We will gladly stay here again on a future trip to Kauai.

My wife and I had a lovely 10-night stay at this unit in Mid-June of 2024. Situated on a cliff it overlooks the Hideaway beach which is 10 minutes from the property. The views featured on the VRBO website is accurate. In short, it is a gorgeous location. We had a very positive experience working with Kauai Vacation Rentals & Real Estate, they are a reputable and professionally run company that made renting the unit easy and straightforward. Staying at Pali Ke Kua 212 is recommended.

Words can't describe the view from this unit. From the moment that you walk into the unit and see the 180 degree view of the ocean, your pictures and words don't do it justice to your friends that you send these views back to. We were a little concerned about the unit not having AC, but the breeze and the ceiling fans made that no issue at all. And the discovery that we viewed from our lanai, of the "sleeping Indian chief" with it's headdress coming out of the ocean from the mountain range in front of us, as we watched the sunset every night, was awesome. This definitely will be an annual stay.

Living room chairs almost like sitting on the floor. Upstairs loft tough to sleep in with skylight overheard and heat given no a/c. Light in late afternoon in living room is blinding and chases you into your bedroom. Needs a/c.

We loved our week in Pali Ke Kua 212. I selected this condo for the view and was not disappointed -- sunrises, sunsets, every time I looked out.... It takes your breath away every time. The layout of the condo was perfect for our family with two adults and two children. We didn't really cook so I can't speak a great deal to kitchen supplies, but it seemed really well equipped. We also only used the pool once, opting for Hanalei Bay during the day, but it was also great and everyone so friendly. We will definitely reserve this same unit when we return to Kauai! Mahalo!

We have stayed in several of the condos at Pali Ke Kua. Unit 212 has an incredible view as do all of the west facing condos at PKK. The downstairs was nicely remodeled. The upstairs (loft) was not. Overall the condo is every bit as nice as the photos portray as well as being equipped. Kauai Vacation Rentals are always easy to work with, and offer a great value compared to other rental agencies.

Oh, the view! We enjoyed our stay very much! This is a nicely appointed unit with incredible views. A great place to start the day and also watch a sunset after a day of exploring. The management company was extremely professional as they helped us out with an appliance hiccup and would not hesitate to refer anyone to Kauai Vacation Rentals when considering a trip to Kauai. We are already talking about re-booking this unit for a future trip!

This condo has a spectacular view and had the best breeze coming through it in the evenings. It became our gathering place of family and friends at night. The sound of the ocean was also great in this unit. One disappointment was a note on the dishwasher that it was not working and was scheduled for repair. That didn’t happen during our week and made it more cumbersome cleaning the plates and glasses as our gathering place. I would still highly recommend this condo. The cost was higher than the others but that view and sound were really amazing.

Sunset, moonset, waves, breezes and the view. Who could ask for more. We loved the location and the quiet. The grounds and unit were kept up well. We would stay there again.

The view from this property made it just a delight to wake up to every day. We loved that it was an end unit so that we could see both ways. The condo was well- furnished and beautiful. Super clean with every amenity we could want. LOVED it!

Stunning views and well appointed condo. This was perfect for the two of us. One bedroom plus a loft bedroom we did not use. Owners supplied everything we needed for cooking, beach, first aid, etc. no air conditioning, but we didn’t need it with the cool breezes at night and ceiling fans. We will stay here again. The condo was very clean and property management was great. Easy check in and check out.

My husband and I found the rental home to be exactly as pictured and described online. It was so clean and obviously well-maintained. The color scheme and decor is tropical and restful, although the couch and chair cushions are pretty worn down, and should be replaced. We ate our breakfasts and lunches on the high-top table on the balcony...always loving the view to the water and mountains, with beautiful palms and foliage at evert turn. The balcony would benefit from a chaise lounge or two. The kitchen was fully outfitted for our needs; however it was missing a shot glass for our tropical hand-crafted cocktails. The sound of the ocean waves heard at night in our main floor Master bedroom lulled us to sleep in the wonderful bed with quality linens. The bathroom was huge, with soft and luxurious bath towels. We were able to find moderate to fine dining between our Princeville location and hour's drive away. Driving farther south than that we felt was too far. We loved dining at Hukilau Lanai, Sam's Ocean View, Gaylord's, and Duke's. Capt Andy's Sunset Dinner Cruise was breathtaking, and the grilled steak/shrimp dinner was outstanding. We also enjoyed the (adults only) Kauai Rum Safari at the Kilohana Plantation. We picked up Indian food from one of the Food Trucks in Hanalei that was really delicious. Shopping in Princeville, Hanalei, and Kapa'a was diverse and enjoyable. We discovered two beaches that were easily swimmable. Although we did not get down to the more-populated Poipu area, we would definitely come back to the North side of Kauai again, and would also stay in this wonderful rental home. We highly recommend it!

Lovely condo with a postcard views of the ocean and nearby Hanalei Bay. Well equipped kitchen and a particular comfortable bed in main bedroom. Nice access to swimming pool, walk down a path to a slender beach where you can snorkel and dip in the water.

The property was exactly as advertised, had all we needed for cooking, going to the beach, even an umbrella! The kitchen was great and all the views were gorgeous. The location was ideal. Walking path to an excellent beach for swimming or snorkeling was easy and you can also walk from the property to Puu Poa beach, to Hideaways Pizza Restaurant, and to a nice walking path along the golf course.

Pali Ke Kua 212 is wonderful! Beautiful Bali Hai view. Condo was well stocked with everything one could need. Kauai vacation rental even left a welcome package of coffee , water, and cookies. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the pool was clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Our family LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Pali Ke Kua #212!! Perfect location!! Right above the beach and a 6 minute walk to the St. Regis for awesome cocktails!! The moment when you walk in the door and see the ocean from the top of the stairs, it just blows you away!!! I liked the fact that there was a washer & dryer in the unit and binoculars! The main bedroom is cute and very comfy! The loft upstairs is more like a bedroom. It has it's own bath! We loved reading all the different books they had about Kauai. (Very helpful) The pool w/Jacuzzi was great after a long hard (exhilarating) day in the ocean! We can't wait to come back! Pricing for this unit was perfect too! You won't be disappointed! Make sure to walk the backside of the entire property! There are great views everywhere, but we felt that our view was the best!! We can't thank you enough!!

We have stayed in PKK 3 other times, but 212 is our favorite so far. Loved the view and the condo was nicely furnished, stocked and very clean. We will return for sure! Kauai Vacation Rentals was a top notch company. Mahalo!

Kauai was unforgettable, and so were our accommodations. The most perfect view, all the comforts of home, and the location were impeccable! We will definitely make our way back to this beautiful island, and will definitely stay at Pali Ke Kua 212 again! Thank you for helping to make our first trip to Kauai a memorable one :) The view and accommodations were hard to surpass! Loved everything about this experience. The entire 7 days were filled with memorable moments. This is a vacation that will stay with us forever.

We loved waking up everyday to the views of the ocean and the sounds of the birds. Paradise! We loved the new kitchen updates! It's perfect! Kauai is a smaller island, more landscapes and more like Hawaii should be or used to be!
