Description

Near the edge of a bluff overlooking the ocean, this ground-floor condominium offers fabulous ocean and coastline views. Bali Hai, the landmark mountain made famous in "South Pacific," is just one of the awesome sights that guests enjoy here.

Relax indoors or on your lanai to take in the gorgeous scenery - boats sailing by, playful dolphins offshore and, during winter months, giant humpback whales. Spectacular sunsets color the sky along Kauai's beautiful north shore in the evenings.

Lounge poolside and take a refreshing swim from time to time at the pool just a few steps away. Beach lovers appreciate the path which leads to sea level and a sandy beach below the bluff. Plan a picnic here or just laze in the warm sun, relax and enjoy the beautiful panoramic vista.

This condo is a comfortable home-away-from-home which is conveniently located near restaurants, shops and activities. The fully furnished kitchen makes it easy to dine at home and, when you wish to dine out, there are many restaurants in right in Princeville and in nearby Hanalei from which to choose. Easily walk to Hideaways Pizza Pub right at Pali Ke Kua which is open for dinner and to Princeville Resort's restaurants just a bit further away.

Guests enjoy the over-sized shower and thought we should let you know!

Activities nearby include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, flightseeing, shopping, tennis and golf.

The condo was perfect for our one week stay in Kauai. We were greeted by rainbows the first day!. The dining area was my favorite spot - views of the mountains and the ocean. The condo was just as pictured on VRBO. It was well stocked with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay away from home.

We owned a home in Princeville for 20 years and keep coming back to stay in different North Shore spots. This was one of the best and the view is outstanding. The condo was very clean and well-outfitted. We would rent there again, but likely choose a second floor, larger unit further out toward the water for a better view of Hanalei Bay.

We had a great time at this condo. We didn't cook
during our stay but if you do you'll have everything you need. There were also beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach towels, cooler, umbrella. The only negative thing was no AC. Granted we were there in August. We were very hot during the day. We couldn't even be inside the condo.

This condo's location right on the cliffs of the north shore is amazing. The views go on for miles and it is incredibly beautiful. The condo was comfortable and spacious for a one bedroom. It had most of the items you would need on a beach vacation - chairs, an umbrella, snorkel equipment and more. We did wish there were more beach towels, only one set which was annoying as we had to wash/dry daily. The bed was not the most comfortable, the mattress was very hard. There is no air conditioning which we were worried about. It did get very hot during the day, however, we were gone almost every day we were there and came back at night. It always cooled off at night and was very comfortable. The location of this condo is on the end and it is very private. We met lots of lizards, frogs and Nenes on our lanai while watching sunrises and sunsets. The pool is nice and refreshing and semi-updated. The view makes this place 100% worth it. The condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the wall of windows and the dining area - a big salad, papaya and a glass of wine - great. The end unit made it seem like we had our own private yard. We eat in a lot so we wanted a kitchen. This unit had every kitchen item we needed.

Simply amazing! The views are perfect from 101... I loved no AC- just leave the windows open and sleep like a baby. We walked to the St. Regis (not to be missed!) and enjoyed morning and evening views. It's about a half mile to the st. Regis- so enjoy the exercise and the view. Thank you KVR. Kauai is stunning... and princeville IS the place to stay.

My wife and I visited Princeville to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We stayed in this condo, which is simply phenomenal. A few non-obvious highlights worth mentioning: first, its a corner unit in the very first building in the Pali Ke Kua community. In other words, you have no neighbor to your left. Second, its a ground floor unit so you can walk right out onto the grass, as well as hose the sand off your feet when you get back from the beach. In the early evening, perhaps 200 yds away and down the street, you begin to see people gathering on a small grassy area. They've come from all over the Princeville community to watch the sun go down. But you need not join them, because you have just as good a view, if not a better one, from the chair you're sitting in on the lanai. Your drink of choice is within arms reach and you have a front row seat to one of the consistently best sunsets on the planet. While the grassy knoll down the way clears, you and yours stay seated and watch the dusk gather and the stars arrive (when we were there, it was a full moon and we therefore got to view a surreal moonset over Bali Hai each morning).

Ten years ago, we had honeymooned in Princeville and stayed at the fancy resort (now the St Regis) not even 1/2 mile down the street. This was so much better, and for a fraction of the cost. The amenities were perfect, the condo nicely appointed, and naps on the couch with just the screen doors in front of us and the sound of the ocean and the cool ocean breeze all over were just outstanding. Final notes -- the owners were very gracious w/ questions etc. when we were booking, and KVR (the property managers) were proactive and highly professional as well. Made everything seamless. There's a grocery store 1.5 mi away, a beach w/in walking distance, and the best scenery in the Pacific everywhere and anywhere you turn. Stop reading this and book the place now. Its impossible to be disappointed.

My husband and I went to Kauai for two weeks for our honeymoon and had a trip of a lifetime. The condo was immaculate with all of the comforts of home - including a washer and dryer and a well-stocked kitchen. The beach supplies (lawn chairs and umbrella) were an added bonus. Pali Ke Kua had a wonderful restaurant and relaxing community swimming pool and hot tub as well. The sunsets were incredible and the views were stunning. We would love to go back someday.
