a perfect escape in princeville, kauai
We absolutely loved this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat. We were only there for a few days but it felt like a true escape. Princeville is stunning, and this property made the most of every bit of it.
The location was perfect and the beach access was a huge bonus, being able to walk straight out and have that crystal clear water at your fingertips made every morning feel like a dream.
And the views. Honestly, no photo does it justice. Waking up to that landscape every day was something we won't forget anytime soon.

Most excellent view of the Bali Hi. The condo is well equipped and comfortable. No a/c but opening up windows and keeping fans on high seemed to do the trick. The unit is nicely situated on the ground floor so you can interact with the adorable wildlife. This end unit is adjacent to the main road through Princeville. The company was easy to work with. I prefer booking direct with them to using Airbnb, and have done so many times. Pale ke Kua is probably my favorite condo complex, if you choose a unit with Bali Hi view.

paradise on the north shore
My wife and I stayed at this condo for our 50th wedding anniversary. The location was perfect,. and the views were absolutely breathtaking. This is a very nice condo- spotless, with a well stocked kitchen and supplies for the beach.

kauai sunsets in an older unit
Overall A really good experience. A few glitches are probably related to our age.
1. Upon arrival in the evening, the steep descent on the concrete sloped walk required assistance from a neighbor in the next building because the walk was not well-lit. Suitcases rolling down the slope, etc.
2. The bath shower needed a shower mat because the old tile floor was slippery. We purchased one.
3. Because of the kitchen size only one person can effectively work in there.
4. Remember the bed is only a double if you are expecting a queen or king.
Aside from those difficulties the views from the unit are gorgeous and sitting on the lanai is stupendous. The unit is well supplied even with beach accessories.
The furniture is comfortable if dated, You can walk by the golf course or walk down to the lawn outside Hotel 1.
The guy remodeling the unit upstairs has Tourettes Syndrome which made for some interesting sounds and and shouts from above. Morning and afternoon. The nearby Westin Hotel restaurant was really good.
Overall, this unit, which dates from the 70's is really good. But could in the near future stand some updating including a newer washer/dryer.
The rental agency folks are easy to work with. Because you will likely arrive in the evening, I recommend the Kauai Kiss unit stocking service to get the essentials you will need.

wonderful, beautiful, peaceful stay!
We were delighted that this property indeed, has a spectacular view, well equipped kitchen, and although dated furnishings, was quite comfortable for 2 people. Kauai Vacation Rental personnel were very professional, kind, and wonderful deal with.

third time stay
Having stayed on property 6 or 7 times over the years, 3 times in this unit I can say it’s got the best view one could hope for. A view to the mountains out the dining area is that little extra special this unit offers. Nicely appointed, a bed a bit too firm perhaps and no AC if that’s important to you (only one of the three times did I really wish it had that).
What’s not great is the price, it’s become painfully pricey so we are unlikely to rent it again.

amazing view!
This was the third time we have rented a co do in Pali Ke Kua. We like unit 101 because it is the last unit of the property and offers more privacy. The view from the lanai is amazing. The location offers walking paths, restaurants, and grocery stores close by. The unit provides a washer & dryer that is convenient. The only drawback would be the living room furniture—it has been well used and is not comfortable. Some street noise.

beautiful views
The condo was perfect for our one week stay in Kauai. We were greeted by rainbows the first day!. The dining area was my favorite spot - views of the mountains and the ocean. The condo was just as pictured on VRBO. It was well stocked with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay away from home.

return to the garden isle
We owned a home in Princeville for 20 years and keep coming back to stay in different North Shore spots. This was one of the best and the view is outstanding. The condo was very clean and well-outfitted. We would rent there again, but likely choose a second floor, larger unit further out toward the water for a better view of Hanalei Bay.

paradise in princeville
We had a great time at this condo. We didn't cook
during our stay but if you do you'll have everything you need. There were also beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach towels, cooler, umbrella. The only negative thing was no AC. Granted we were there in August. We were very hot during the day. We couldn't even be inside the condo.

amazing views to infinity
This condo's location right on the cliffs of the north shore is amazing. The views go on for miles and it is incredibly beautiful. The condo was comfortable and spacious for a one bedroom. It had most of the items you would need on a beach vacation - chairs, an umbrella, snorkel equipment and more. We did wish there were more beach towels, only one set which was annoying as we had to wash/dry daily. The bed was not the most comfortable, the mattress was very hard. There is no air conditioning which we were worried about. It did get very hot during the day, however, we were gone almost every day we were there and came back at night. It always cooled off at night and was very comfortable. The location of this condo is on the end and it is very private. We met lots of lizards, frogs and Nenes on our lanai while watching sunrises and sunsets. The pool is nice and refreshing and semi-updated. The view makes this place 100% worth it. The condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
