Princeville is the gateway to Kauai's north shore and a wide range of activities. Within just a few minutes' drive, you can be kayaking Hanalei River or, seasonally, along the Na Pali coast, hiking trails to secluded beaches near Princeville and along Na Pali, horseback riding to waterfalls and deep-sea fishing. Watch for sea turtles, frolicking dolphins and humpback whales (winter months).

The shops and restaurants of Princeville Center are just minutes from the house. It's just a ten-minute drive to the charming town of Hanalei and one of the world's best beaches.

The house was well ventilated, clean and inviting. The dolphin statues in the main foyer was charming and the staircase "breath taking." The 2nd floor kitchen was well equipped and the bags of goodies in the refrigerator were a welcome surprise. The master bedroom was lovely and the king size bed very comfortable. The downstairs was a great place to unwind, read a book or practice yoga. The hot tub was well heated and easy to operate (except for a few jets that didn't work). We loved every aspect of the house and look forward to returning someday.

Perfect for our group

We stayed at this property 3 years ago with our family and returned this summer for the wedding of our daughter. Once again we were extremely pleased with everything about the property. It had been painted and some things replaced. Everything was in working order (We had trouble with the AC last time, but not now!). We love the location, the space, the way the home is decorated. It truly felt like a home for our family. Even though it is mainly a garden view, we loved it and enjoyed mornings on the lanai with coffee and conversation. KVR made the reservation process and check-out extremely easy, much better than our last time when it was handled by an individual. They always responded quickly to any email question, and when we returned, our deposit was very quickly received. Couldn't have been better in any way!

Thank you so much for a very nice, comfortable accommodation. The house was plenty large enough for all nine of us. We enjoyed Hanalei, Inner tubing, hiking in Waimea Canyon, Anini Beach, the Smith's luau, and the Kauai Island Brewery.

Can you be "homesick" for a place you only stayed in for one week? Yes! It's been 3 months since my family (8 adults, 4 kids) experienced the vacation of a lifetime here...and we are all so eager to return! The house is amazing - even better than the pics, the location perfect - minutes from beaches, shops, restaurants - everything you came to the Garden Isle to see/experience! Kauai Vacation Rentals and Real Estate couldn't have been nicer, more accommodating or professional! They are the only ones I will call for future trips!
