This charming, oceanfront condo is attractively furnished with your comfort in mind. Its ground-floor location offers convenience as well as easy access to the beach. You have nice ocean views from your living room and master bedroom as well as from your private lanai. This is a great place to relax to the sound of the surf and enjoy a snack or cool beverage while taking in the beautiful sights.

Located between award-winning, oceanfront Wailua Golf Course and Lydgate Beach Park, Kaha Lani, which means "Heavenly Place" in Hawaiian, gives you convenient access to snorkeling, golfing, shopping and restaurants. There is a huge selection of great eateries in this area from which to choose when you feel like dining out. Or, enjoy preparing relaxing meals at home in your fully equipped kitchen.

Perfect for couples and families, Lydgate Beach Park is a very short walk down the beach from your condo. It has a protected area for snorkeling and swimming plus a toddler's swimming area. Just steps from your door, you can lounge by the swimming pool or play a game of tennis right at Kaha Lani. Enjoy leisurely strolls and beachcombing along a two-mile walking beach next to Wailua Golf Course.

Kaha Lani is centrally located on the island so you can easily drive to spectacular north and south shore beaches, hike the Waimea Canyon, Na Pali and other trails, and sightsee while exploring the beautiful Garden Island.

Activities nearby include: seasonal swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, helicopter and boat tours, tennis, golfing, surfing, fishing and shopping.

Great location, wonderful view, could walk to a great beach that was fun and safe for our kids. KVR worked really hard to get us into a last minute cancellation over Christmas. Thank you so much, we had a great time!

Spent most time outside enjoying the view. Inside was quite outdated, with a primary window boarded up (preventing air circulation and cross ventilation). Also neighbors had 2 adults and 5 children (7 total) and they were not well behaved playing on our patio, and very loud, often screaming.

This location was great! Centrally located and Kauai Vacation Rentals is amazing. The place was very clean but it is VERY dated - could use a few updates. Everthing was great, we had enough towels and didn't discover the beach chairs until the last day. We felt safe and loved sleeping to the sounds of waves.

Unit was very clean. Absolutely loved the unit I was in. Ocean was my back yard. Several windows were not functioning. Only negative review was you could hear the upstairs unit walking Sounded loud but I assume it was poor insulation. Drove my family crazy, me not so much. I

We loved staying here. The view was fabulous. The grounds were very well kept. The king bed was super comfortable. There is no AC but none was needed as you get wonderful crosswinds through the unit. We loved the central location, easy to get north or south. Check in/out were very easy. The unit was very clean. It is not very walkable to shops and restaurants but the rest made up for that. It is a short walk to Lydgate beach and 75 steps out the back door to the water ahead. We absolutely loved it and we can't wait to go back!

The location and layout of the unit were perfect for a family with two children. The unit has some minor wear but was clean and comfortable. The property managers were responsive to minor issues that came up.

Very pleased with our stay. We had all the amenities we needed to enhance our first trip to Hawaii! The location was ideal for us because it was an easy walk to safe swimming at Lydgate Park and we had the pool for late night swims!

This condo is at the front of the complex so you do not have anything obstructing your view or access to the ocean. It is also very close to the pool and the BBQs. It is also just a few minute walk to Lydgate Park/Beach. This is the second time we have stayed in this condo and feel it is the best one in this complex.

We stayed for almost a month at Kaha Lani and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.. our condo was clean, well equipped, lovely ocean views, clean and tended grounds, pool a little cold at first but that was fixed soon after our arrival.

The condo had a lot going for it, so near to the water. Great sunrises! The only problems were jalousies falling out of the windows and lights not working. Some windows were inoperable and we have stayed in this condo before and used Kauai Vacations several times. They are wonderful! The door wouldn't lock properly and one time we came back from our walk and the door was open. Luckily, nothing was taken.

A perfect location for watching the ocean - and chickens. This property is nestled between Lydgate Park and Lydgate campgrounds. Having the oceanfront path easily accessible was a plus. Sunrises were magnificent. Ground level unit was very nice to have for the mobility challenged. Unit 118 could use some TLC. It was clean and comfortable. Very hard to find when we arrived at 8:00pm in the dark. A toilet seat was broken but replaced the very next day when it was reported, yay! Many of the window louvres were either not operable or broken. An unplugged lamp in the twin bed room had no bulb and a wall outlet behind one bed was gutted leaving exposed wires. Just some pretty basic updates could make 118 a joy. I wonder if those things could have been taken care of instead of the cost of the huge 65" TV?

Condo 118 was in a very convenient location . We appreciated the early check in. Condo master bedroom bath was not clean. Living Rm had an area rug with curled up edge that caused a potentially serious trip to my husband Michael. I would suggest having a First Aid Kit in the condo in a visible place. Fortunately we had one with us.
Condo kitchen was well stocked. On site staff were very helpful.Grounds & pool area were lovely . Night quiet time was respected. Stay was Fun & relaxing. Elizabeth & Michael Brown

The condo is in a perfect spot. With greenbelt and ocean view and the pool is very close. The complex is nicely done, clean. Laundry room available. The condo is clean and spacious but a can of paint can go a long way. Time to update some furniture.

Unit 118 is a bit dated & definitely seeing effects of the salty air & humidity with no a/c. The beds were just ok, could use new mattresses. But the grand star is the location of the unit facing the beach with just 80 steps to the sand & waves. This made all the rest forgettable. We were there to relax and definitely accomplished that! The beach chairs & coolers provided in the condo were used almost daily! We only used the pool on the property once. It looked clear & clean, but once we got in realized it needed a good scrub of the tile which had algae growing. We used the laundry facilities on site too & were happy with results. The dryers completely dried our full loads in one cycle. The kitchen is stocked well enough. We cooked several simple meals in condo & used the grills by the pool several times. Kitchen is missing storage containers for leftovers, but we bought ziplock bags & used those instead. Central location makes seeing both North & South sides of the island convenient. Only 5-10 minutes from restaurants & shopping in Kapa'a or Lihue. I love that the resort is quietly situated by itself away from everything else. If you want to be able to walk to restaurants, shopping & entertainment, look elsewhere. But if you are ok driving to those things & are looking for relaxation, listening to the waves & feeling the constant breeze of the tradewinds, then this is your spot!

We wanted to be on the ground floor, with ocean views and wick access to a beach. This rental checked all the boxes. It even had a safe kid beach, amazing playground and a restaurant with great food all within walking distance!
I was a bit worried about no AC, but we didn’t need it. It was extra stormy while we were there though.
The place could use some more kitchen supplies, like baking sheet, new knives... and the couches aren’t great but that’s where my suggestions stop. I loved the condo, the grounds, the location on the island. The agency was easy to work with and the price was reasonable.
I wish I was still there watching the waves crash onto the beach!

PROS: The best feature of this property is the location. The beach is just a short walk from the back door, and conveniences are a short drive away. Very close to the airport. From this location you can be at either end of the island within 30-40 minutes. We watched the sunrise from our patio, and walked on the beach every morning. The Kaha Lani property is a very nice place. Close to the golf course, has a tennis court, and a beautiful pool to enjoy.

CONS: We had to pick up and drop off the keys at the rental office, which was a different location about 5 miles and 10 minutes away. Not ideal. A combination lock would be a much better solution for check in/out. This condo #118 is due for some updating and maintenance. Paint, lighting, furniture, decors could all use some love.

OVERALL: We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay at this condo. But, the somewhat poor condition of the condo and lack of "extra-above average" touches were disappointing. If improvements in these areas are made, I would definately consider staying there again!

We had a wonderful time in this condo. You wake up to beautiful sunrises daily and steps away from a nice walk beach. Yo can take a short walk and be at the beach with snorkeling and swim beach for the entire family. This is a well kept unit with many friendly people on site. This is a very quit and tranquil. Easy to take naps after a day out playing, surfing or shopping. The condo has a fully functional kitchen that we made plenty of in home food and saved plenty of money. The condo is close to the airport but never heard a plane take off or land the entire time we were there. This is centrally located about 25 minutes to the north side of the island like Hanalei Bay for great surfing, food and shopping or about 30 to 45 minutes to the west side of the island to go to the Napoli Coast tours, the spouting horn. The island is challenged to provide great food so if you find a favorite place you like plan on going several times so you are not disappointed with other food on the island. Expect to pay $25 per person for breakfast and lunch and $50 for dinner unless you are eating McDonalds. I like surfing the beach by Dukes restaurant. Dukes was the best restaurant we found on the island after going many places. I would suggest going to Ohanas Smoke Shop by Dukes for vape pens and other treats that everyone is afraid to talk about on the island. I will definitely return and would stay here knowing this is a safe, clean and beautiful unit. The pool is warm and wonderful too. Most of the time we were swimming at the pool alone. Great experience and a wonderful place to stay. You will not be disappointed staying here and may never want to leave. The only thing that needed replaced was the shower head that is worn out.

This was our 3rd visit to Kauai, we love this beautiful island. We enjoy staying on the east side because it is centrally located to everything on the island. We love our close walks to Lydgate Park.

Our stay was short due to a death in our family, we only had two
Days. Condo’s view is to die for, just steps from the beach.
We plan on returning soon. We spoke to a guard at condos
He told us he patrols the complex, so we felt very safe.

The condo was perfect for my husband and myself, and our two young children. It was wonderful to be able to walk the beach in front of our condo in the evenings, as well as to be close enough to Lydgate Beach Park to walk there. We really appreciated the small gestures, such as the shopping bag and cooler with bottled water. We also appreciated the kids beach toys and other beach gear, as it was one less thing to worry about. I was initially worried about location, but we ended up being perfectly center to drive to both the North Shore and South Shore easily, and Kapa'a was a lovely town to be close to, with some great places to eat or have a drink. It was our first visit to the island, and we will definitely return. Mahalo for everything!

It has no stairs and is very close to the beach. Centrally located for exploring North or South. Great views of the ocean and a super walking beach. Quiet and clean.

I took my parents, who are in their mid 80s, here and it was the best place they have ever been, great for getting around, ground level, lanai was perfect to sit out on, furnishing were wonderful and all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend this Condo and will stay here again on a return visit.
