We absolutely recommend this unit. The location, the views, the peace and quiet, the nightly nene parade, the access to the beach. Everything was picture perfect. Lanai furniture, couch, and bed were all super comfortable. Great kitchen for cooking meals. Beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella were much appreciated!

We had an amazing stay at Pali Ke Kua. Upon arrival, my husband had some issues with the TVs. Although it was after their office had closed, Diane came over right away and helped figure everything out. She was beyond helpful and super nice. She even called a couple of days later to ask if we needed any further assistance. The condo itself was very clean and perfect for two people. We appreciated the newer furniture and appliances and the bed was very comfortable. Although there’s no ac, the ceiling and floor fans were enough to keep it cool. The only thing we would have wished for was different speed settings for the ceiling fans. The location and views are priceless. It’s near the paved path to the beach, right on the cliff. We had some amazing rainbows and sunsets. The condo came with two beach chairs, umbrella and a little cooler. We used them all. When we return to Kauai, we will definitely look to rent this unit again. 5/5 stars!!

After staying at Pali Ke Kua about half a dozen times over the last few years, we probably enjoyed this unit the most. It was updated, featured top quality furniture, and as a corner unit let in a lot of light. Of course, the view is spectacular, like in all ocean front units. We also really appreciated the generous supply of necessities like paper and cleaning products.Thank you!

Access was not as requested or told it was even though we asked multiple time for level entry because of wife's handicap. She was confined a good part of the time because of difficulty of steep incline from parking lot to condo entry. Not truthful about entry even though we were very specific re this aspect of a rental.

The condo is just as listed, quite lovely with a very comfortable bed. I was surprised that the kitchen, which was well outfitted with cooking equipment, did not even have salt or oil so plan ahead and bring any spices or condiments you might want. These things are very expensive in Hawaii. Otherwise it was a great trip and we loved the location. Pool was also very nice. And the staff at the rental agency was very helpful when we called with a question.

This rental exceeded all of our expectations! It was super clean, had higher end appliances and kitchen supplies, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on! We were extremely surprised about how well the unit stayed cool. There were times I dare say - we were even chilly �� The views were unreal and we spent every-single-evening watching the sunset from the lanai. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heart-beat!

Lovely updated unit with some of the best views on the island. Perfect place to watch the sunset every night and fall asleep listening to the waves crashing on the beach below. Property management team was amazing and extremely responsive and nice when reaching out. Only slight knock is the kitchen could use a few more utensils and dishware; we cooked at the unit every night and were a bit limited.

Everything as advertised.Perfectly accommodating for two people. Newer appliances, especially the induction stove, took some time to learn. The ceiling fans kept the unit cool throughout the day. The furniture was comfortable. Finally, an unbeatable view made our stay memorable. I highly recommend this rental.

This is our 2 nd time staying just on Kauai and using Kauai Rentals. They are fabulous to rent from. This time we stayed for 9 nights in Pali Ke Kau112. This 1 bedroom condo sat on the cliffs overlooking the NaPali coast. Specifics: the king bed was very comfortable, the bedroom had lots of space, there was a smart TV in the bedroom. The bathroom had a great shower, I would have liked some more bar soap but we bought some great handmade soap at an art fair so that worked out. Nice soft towels with separate towels for the pool. Kitchen- great pans, minimal extras such as spices. We have been in other places where there are many spices, oils, etc and there was not much here. Tons of wine glasses but not much in the way of storage containers.
They supplied beach chairs, etc.
There is a very steep path to Hideaway Beach which is beautiful. Don’t let the path dissuade you from going down!
Overall we loved this place. Listening to the surf every night was amazing and the views at every minute of the day did not disappoint.
We had a problem with the toaster on the first day and Phoebe from Kauai Rental was right over with a new one. Their app is great with wonderful information, they have check in and check out down to a science, and they are very responsive to any issues. We will be sure to use them every time we return to Kauai!

My wife and I spent 10 days at PKK112. The view and complex are amazing. We really enjoyed the quality of this unit and felt it had almost everything we could have wanted. The grill and outdoor furniture were terrific. The linens and mattress where very comfortable. The renovations were quite nice. We just wish the owner would consider a portable AC unit like others have in the primary bedroom. Yes the breezes are cool...but it's still not a perfect sleep. We will definitely return if an AC unit is added to the bedroom. Great unit we loved our time.

We stayed for our Honeymoon and this was the BEST experience ever! The description and photos were on point. Location was sublime. I was concerned it being a 3rd party rental as we booked through Vrbo however,Kauai Vacation Rentals were on-point, called the very next day and provided a seamless process, We will definitely book directly with them next time to assure they get all the profits as they did everything to make it perfect and deserve it! They even left snacks and a cooler bag that we used the entire week for our outings. We will be back. Thank you KVR!!!

Pali Ke Kua 112 is very nicely furnished and equipped with quality amenities that make it a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed at Pali Ke Kua many times and specifically liked the following features in this unit during our two week October 2023 stay:
1) Location - Hanalei Bay view, sunset view and Hideaway Beach access. The Pali Ke Kua units that face west with a fantastic Hanalei Bay view are our choice for North Shore accommodations.
2) Grill - Lack of a grill has been a negative when staying at Pali Ke Kua so we were very happy to find an electric grill on the patio.
3) Patio shades - Afternoon sun shining directly into units facing west makes the room hot and uncomfortable. This unit has patio sun screens that can be lowered as needed to block afternoon sun shining directly into the unit - perfect for temperature control and comfort! ALL west facing units should have shades.
4) Beach chairs - Tommy Bahama beach chairs with shoulder straps are great! Keeps hands free to carry all the other stuff to the beach.
5) Kitchen - Having a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals is a must for us. My spouse grew up in Hawaii and we look forward to preparing and enjoying local foods not readily found on the mainland when we visit. Much appreciated not listed appliances... Chefman water kettle with temperature control for preparing coffee with our Aeropress. Rice cooker.
One disappointment... I inquired about an additional guest after making this somewhat last minute reservation. Kauai Vacation Rentals told me only 2 guests maximum were permitted because the unit only had beds for 2 people. During our stay, I discovered that the sofa in the living room is in fact a sofabed that can accommodate 2 additional guests.

Pali Ke Kua 112 is a spacious, clean, comfortable, updated Princeville condo with amazing views of Hanalei Bay. We were very satisfied with the condo overall and were especially happy to find a working washer and dryer in the unit. Hideaways Pizza Pub right onsite was an added bonus and very good. As a ground floor unit, however, beware that noisy people upstairs can be problematic as was the case our last two nights there. Only other issue was wildlife in the bathroom. Not sure how a lizard and cricket got in, but there they were. Maybe not unexpected in tropical Hawaii. Princeville itself is paradise but isolated from South and East shore activities. Best for travellers looking for peace and quiet on the North Shore of beautiful Kauai. Would highly recommend Pali Ke Kua 112 for a relaxing vacation ecperience.

Unit 112 is a great ground floor condo for ocean and Bali Hai views. Perfect unit for our friends attending our wedding. Nicely furnished and all appliances worked. Very clean upon arrival. Fans helped move the air but unit was very warm in Oct. A portable ac in bedroom would really help.

We stayed 3 weeks . Property was clean , beautiful, location amazing. Pool area and grounds were beautiful., Since cleaning service was not required or allowed ( covid) we requested cleaning supplies to use during our stay. They were promptly delivered. It was very difficult to leave this amazing place! This is a downstairs unit... it seemed there was more activity in the upstairs unit above us so it could be noisy overhead. Something to consider when booking.

This was my 3rd time staying in the complex - first time in this unit. The view is amazing. We had dinner on the patio overlooking the sunset almost every night. The condo is comfortable, quiet and clean. The bed was on the harder side for my taste but that’s a minor detail. We’ll definitely be coming back here. Aloha!

Great location with amazing views! The rental was clean and easily accessible! We had the absolute best time! Book this ... you will not be disappointed! Important to note and wished we would have paid attention when booking — there is no air conditioning here. Do not let this deter you though as there are ceiling fans and the winds in the evening definitely help out!

Wow! We loved our stay in this unit. From sunrise to sunset, it was hard to beat this view! The condo was very clean and newly renovated! Bed was super comfy. Will be returning to this unit on future stays!

The most gorgeous view of the Bali Hai sunset. although we had a fair amount of rain, the greenery and well manicured property around the condos is amazing.

We loved the large floor plan and the views are unbeatable! Best anywhere on the island I think. Kauai is our favorite destination - "Kauai No Kai Oi"!

When we arrived at our condo (Unit 112), the view exceeded our expectations! We had bought some groceries, but planned to eat dinners out most evenings, however, no restaurant could compare to our views...so we stayed in for breakfast and dinner 12 of the 14 nights! Our room was quiet, clean, and efficient. The pool and surrounding grounds were lovely and well maintained, and our sunsets spectacular! Mahalo

Just the two of you. Off to leave the world behind somewhere on the edge of an endless blue sea. The view must be magnificent, an uncrowded beach within walking distance is a basic requirement, the living space will be clean and attractive - and, of course, you must be totally comfortable and content in your tropical surroundings..Pali Ke Kua 112
That place is an immaculate, one-bedroom condo in a small resort called Pali Ke Kua. Located in Princeville on Kauai's North Shore, it captures that sense of seclusion you're after without the inconvenience of being stranded on a deserted island.
The view from the condo is an uninterrupted landscape of ocean, sky and mountains. That beach you're looking for is at the end of a hiking path along a sea cliff outside your door. The locals call it Hideaway's, and it's actually two sandy coves about 15 minutes away.
Decorated in shades of yellow with touches of orange, this condo features gleaming hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. It's airy and cheerful and a good place to observe the patterns of the day, particularly sunset when the sun falls over Mount Makana, hits the sea and bursts into the last hurrah of the day.
A fully equipped kitchen makes cooking easy, and eating out is no trouble either. There are several restaurants within walking distance, one in the resort, others in the nearby Princeville Hotel. A large market and a number of other retail stores are available in the Princeville Shopping Center, and nearby Hanalei is populated with restaurants, clothing and gift shops and another market. If the mood strikes, there are plenty of things to do on the North Shore including hiking, horseback riding, helicopter rides and dancing.
