The view from lanai was gorgeous! There was a concrete walkway just beyond the property that went along the shoreline and also led to the pretty Lydgate Beach Park. The location worked out well for our adventures. The only thing I missed seeing in the property description is that there was no A/C--it was quite hot when we arrived. The temp became somewhat tolerable, but not to our standard. The rooms were small, but beds were comfortable. It was convenient to have washer and dryer.

The location was great. Good views of the ocean. Being from the desert, it was a bit of an adjustment not having air conditioning. As they say, it was not the heat, it was the humidity. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

We completely fell in love with this condo and its location. The morning sunrises were spectacular.
We were literally steps from the beach and about a 10 min walk to the lagoons at Lydgate Beach Park . We loved collecting sea glass along the rocks.
There was no a/c but it wasn’t needed with the windows open, allowing for the sounds and breeze from the ocean to cool the condo. There were plenty of fans available as well.
The kitchen was stocked with all the amenities you would need to cook breakfast etc. There’s a Safeway 5 mins down the road for food and drinks.
The washer and dryer were so convenient, the linen closet was full of extra towels along with pillows and blankets. They had everything covered!
Mornings wouldn’t be complete with the roosters and chickens greeting us.
Coconut Marketplace is down the road with restaurants, stores and a farmers market a couple times a week. There’s a disc golf course right next to the property on one side and a golf course on the other side.
The grounds were well maintained and clean!!
We definitely recommend this property to everyone!!

Excellent location with walking beach right out front. # mile walking path out front and the only condo close by. Public golf course next door. Condo is in excellent shape and well equipped. Short drive to all the nice restaurants. Would stay again.

The home is well appointed: you can see the ocean from your living room, walking distance from Lydgate park. Comfy beds and good showers. The washer/dryer is very helpful. All the things you will need for a beach day are available: chairs, umbrella, snorkel kits. Internet works pretty well. Kitchen super equipped. To make this stay perfect, I would suggest AC: yes, we love the modern live things.

Kaha Lani 124 is highly recommended. The condo was in perfect condition. Every detail was accommodated. The view was fantastic and the very short walk to the beach took you to a snorkel pool that had hundreds of fish. Don't hesitate to book this unit.

Our overall experience in the condo was wonderful. The view from the Lani was outstanding and the state park at each end of the condo resort was a plus for the beachfront walk, close to snorkel pond and watching the sunrise.
The condo was clean and furniture was welcoming. With the instructions for the new range in the kitchen it was easy to use and a nice touch. There was plenty of beach equipment in the locked storage room.
All four of us that stay in this condo would rent it again.

Loved the location of this condo, central to almost everything. The condo was clean and comfortable in a very quiet area. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Woke up every morning to a stunning ocean sunrise. The management company was very quick to respond to any concerns or questions. Surprised that the condo does not have air conditioning but being on the east coast we always had a nice breeze. We learned to keep the windows closed at night with the fans on as the roosters roaming the island crow all the time.

Close enough to town, but also secluded. If relaxation, watching beautiful sunrise and listening to the waves crashing, you’re in. The condo is well stocked with the essentials you need, pots pans, glassware, utensils and plates. The view from the lanai and living room are what sets this unit apart. You feel as if it’s just yours. Your view is unobstructed. If I have to complain about something and that’s what I look for in a review, it’s that some of the cabinet doors don’t stay shut. Besides that don’t hesitate with this unit it’s amazing!

We loved our stay! Super roomy, loved our ocean view , and being in the ground level was really helpful with busy kiddos. House had all the necessities. Great laundry appliances too. Linens and beds were comfortable, not the highest quality but still comfortable. Really lovely pool! Walking distance to the lava pools and park at Lydgate and the Bridges. Amazing sunrises too! Would totally stay again! Oh and lots chickens, kitties and roosters. They were not an issue at all. Fun to watch. The Lanaii closest had tons of beach supplies too!

I would love to say it was awful, just to keep others away from this location. But I cannot find a bad thing to say. You can't beat the views from the condo. We watched whales jumping while we had our morning coffee. The condo was well equipped with beach gear and kitchen items (couldn't find a spatula?), but there are no seasonings or cooking oil so keep that it mind when you hit Costco on your way in. The staff was courteous and helpful, check in and check out was a breeze with the app. We were really happy with the location as a homebase for exploring the island and there are restaurants and stores close in Kapa'a. One issue is the guests staying above our condo were extremely loud all night and let their kids throw food to the roosters from their balcony which led to our patio being covered with crowing roosters from very early morning (3 am) until evening each day. I would suggest not feeding the chickens, as tempting as it may be.

Could not have asked for a better location for our 7-day stay in Kauai. Our plan was to be strategically located so as to allow us to hop up and down to the north and southwest parts of the island “relatively” painlessly, while enjoying the great and tranquil views (both the ocean and the roosters) from the condo during breakfast every morning. Mission accomplished! We were short steps away from Lydgate Beach which is both lovely and secluded. We also liked the proximity to many shops and “reasonably” priced restaurants as opposed to other parts of Kauai. Another bonus was that we were only 10 minutes from Lihue Airport and so were able to leave at a leisurely pace for our morning flight home. Only a few complaints but all minor: the footsteps from the upper floor were easily transmitted through the ceiling; the toilet in the master BR was not securely bolted down to the floor; not enough shelf/counter space in both bathrooms; inadequate supply of paper towels and dishwasher pods. However, overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Overall we enjoyed our vacation rental. We loved being oceanfront and enjoyed the private beach out front to swim in the morning. Our rental had a broken lounge chair that the management company quickly replaced the same day - we lounged on them daily. Bonus in closet was beach chairs/cooler/umbrella... beach necessities. Only recommendation would be to replace bathroom towels and rugs / both had strings hanging off which was a turn off.

The location was really fantastic and we loved having the paved walk along the water front for a morning stroll. The property is well represented in the description and photos and the kitchen was equipped with what we needed to have breakfast in every morning. The beds were quite comfortable (and we're picky about that) and we found plenty of beach accessories and towels for our daily adventures to the falls and beaches. Super impressed with the property care and maintenance - we loved being able to hear the ocean all the time (despite the blustery weather we had). We would definitely return here!!

We are surprised about how nice the unit looks. Location on ground floor is ideal. The ocean view and breeze is lovely. Having the kitchen and laundry accessibility was important to us. We have been to Kauai 5 times and love this island. When ever we meet the locals we are always met with enthusiasm and smiles.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Kaha Lani in unit 124. It was a ground floor unit directly looking out to the ocean. We could hear the surf and a wonderful ocean breeze flowed through the condo. Our children loved having the immense lawn to play on every morning while we readied ourselves to head for a day at the beach. The complex was very quiet and clean. We greatly enjoyed our stay at Kaha Lani 124 and would recommend it to others needing a place to stay on the east side of Kauai. It was a great location as a jumping off point for exploring all parts of the island, whether you want to see Hanalei bay or the state parks of Kōke’e.

This upscale 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront ground floor corner unit is located on Kauai's beautiful east shore, the famous 'Royal Coconut Coast'. It is one of the few condos at Kaha Lani that enjoys the best views of the ocean. There is nothing between your lanai and the ocean to obstruct the panoramic view.
You'll find yourself falling into a deep sleep on the new Cal King mattress (purchased 2025) and awakening to unforgettable sunrises every morning looking out over the ocean as you enjoy your morning coffee.

One of the unique and wonderful things about this resort is it's central location on the island. It is almost the exact mid-point between the Waimea Canyon on the west side, and the Hanalei/Princeville area on the north shore…you’re at least half way to anywhere on the island you wish to explore. You’re also minutes away from the airport, shops and restaurants of Kapaa and a Safeway!
At the same time it is one of the only resorts that is private and secluded, located far from the hustle and bustle of the dense condo resort neighborhoods on Kauai. That is because Kaha Lani is tucked away between the acres of Lydgate Park to the north and the quietude of Wailua Golf Course to the south. Very little ambient light dims the view of the star-filled night sky.
In the winter months, your lanai is a "front row seat" for watching the gray whales splash and spout as they reach their winter home of Hawai. For beach lovers, the beach is steps from the lanai and stretches south for 3 miles. For cyclists, walkers and joggers, there is a paved bike path that stretches north for 7 miles. Within a ten minute walk of the resort, you can visit Lydgate Beach Park with its protected swimming lagoons (replete with fish that makes for fun and easy snorkeling) and a short drive to the highly rated public Wailua Golf Course, the Wailua River where you can kayak, Opaekaa Falls, Sleeping Giant hiking trails and so much more.
