| This is a cottage for two, and if you’re in the mood for romance, all the better. Built on stilts, the bungalow rises to meet the tree tops. The view from the deck is enchanting. Perched in this little nest among the trees, you can watch the ocean change from sunrise to sunset. And later, as the moon climbs across the sky, the sea’s restless face will turn luminescent in the light of the moon.

| | The cottage opens into a living area with a kitchen on one end and the doors to the deck on the other. The bedroom and bath are to the rear. It is bright and airy, and Hawaii’s famous trade winds move softly through the air. Vintage Hawaiian and simplicity at its best, this is a place to forget the cares of the world and take time to revel in small pleasures.
