Lovely spot on the south coast

We stayed 2 weeks, driving to hikes and beaches around the island. The property was clean with a very well stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. The grounds are lovingly maintained and neighbors are quiet. My son really enjoyed the pool. Ocean waves lull you to sleep. Some slight street noise from passing cars but it didn't bother me. I'd stay again!

My husband I stayed in PK 202 in mid January and it was very nice. The pictures and description are completely accurate. We have stayed in several different condos in the PK complex because we absolutely love the location. It is across from a nice beach for snorkeling and in a nice area for walking/running. This complex is close to the road and at certain times of the day the traffic can be a bit loud but it is so worth it to be so close to the ocean! PK 202 is not a high-end luxury unit but is comfortable and clean. We like to make most of meals at home and while the kitchen is small it had all the tools we needed. Note: the oven is apartment size so it you want to roast a whole turkey plan accordingly :). There were plenty of kitchen/bath/beach towels and bed linens/pillows. There were newer beach chairs, an umbrella and even some snorkel gear. This condo does not have A/C but we never needed it - we just opened the windows and patio doors to get a lovely cross breeze. We spent most of our time at the beach across the road or in the living room watching the ocean. At night we fell asleep listening to the waves. We would definitely stay in PK 202 again.

We loved the location, interior and extras that were provided, incl. beach chairs and snorkel equipment. Even if it's close to the road, there was no disturbing noise during the night. Parking lots (in the garage) are small, can be challenging for large cars. We had an awesome stay there.

The resort is located very close to the beach with one of the best snorkeling sites the island offers. We had a beautiful view from the balkony. The appartment was clean and very well equipped. Even sand chairs were provided. The kitchen was so well equipped that it left nothing to be desired. The WiFi was fast and reliable. You can hear some noise from the street, but that was no problem for us. The resort area is very nice including a pool and lots of blooming plants. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Awesome condo close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Condo was amazingly well equipped and everything inside seemed brand new!! Staff at kauai vacation rentals were awesome. Already looking forward to staying here again!!

This was my first time visiting Kauai. It's a beautiful island with so much to do. You can be active or be a beach bum. It's totally up to you. The condo we had was comfortable and well stocked. It had everything you could possibly need. Great location also.

This property was conveniently located on the Poipu coast with a spectacular view of the crashing waves, palm trees and local chickens. All the pictures on the website were an exact representation of the property. It was everything we imagined Kauai to be and more.

This fantastic condo puts you in one of the best areas of Kauai. Great snorkeling just a two minute walk away. Spouting Horn and Allerton Gardens just down the road. Walk to coffee shops (they're all good but definitely go to Little Fish and pre-order to save time) The shops at the village are the best and a walk away. The condo itself is very comfortable. It is older but that doesn't really matter And having no a/c is no problem with the trade winds. We have been to the Prince Kuhio condos before and will definitely return.

Clean and adequately stocked condo. Couldn’t get the TV to work but decided we didn’t need it. Also the overhead light in the fan in the bedroom would spontaneously come on when the fan was off. Otherwise it is a fine stay.

Prince Kuhio condo is in a great location. Central to Lihue and Waimea Canyon. Condo is in good shape and comfortable. The only negative is the street noise. It is right next to a busy street that dead ends at spouting horn, so I don't know why it's so busy, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The check-in is a little awkward, as you have to stop in Lihue at the office to get the key, and checkout is the same. No problem if you have a car. Walking distance to a few beaches and restaurants/shops.

Pretty place, great location, nice grounds. Would choose a different unit next time but only because we were too close to the road and are light sleepers. Unit 202 was nice but you had to walk through the bedroom to get to the family room. Also wish the pool was heated. I am kind of a wimp when it comes to cold water. Everything else was excellent!

The unit was perfect for 2 people. Great location for walking to the beach, dining, shopping, and sunsets. The complex was clean and safe. Pool, parking, and grill were always available. Laundry service was convenient. Will be staying there again.

The rental is exactly as you see, except, it is smaller. The layout is awkward, however, it met our needs. There is no air-conditioner, but there are fans that do a good job. there is also a sliding glass door in the living room, when opened provides a nice breeze.

We had a great experience here. It was clean and roomy for two. I like traveling with access to a kitchen. The complex is mainly rentals, so there is no issue with management about a short term rental.

It's nice using a professional property management company becuase they are reliable and professional.

We loved our time at this little condo. If you are looking for some beach time and snorkeling, this is a great spot. It is a 2 minute walk from Lawai Beach. It is cozy but has beach chairs, umbrella and a few kitchen supply items like oil, coffee filters and other cooking essentials available. The floors are updated (we saw other reviews that there was carpet) and while the condo itself could be updated, it was just perfect. It provided an ocean view, looks over a historical site and offered spectacular sunrises. Kauai Vacation Rentals were fantastic, friendly and professional. We would certainly go back to this spot. Mahalo and safe travels.

We were on Kauai for a family get together. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the condo. The condo is quiet and has a great breeze that comes through. Being so close to the beach and shops was great. The condo was clean and looked great. We wanted to just get away from the responsibilities at home for a bit. Kauai Vacation Rentals was outstanding with our needs and booking, KVR is perfect for rental needs.  Holo Holo sunset dinner cruise was fantastic! Going through back roads on the North shore and experiencing the wonders Smith Plantation has. Visiting small towns and of couse, Lapperts ice cream. South shore was a must stay Place.  

Would recommend it to everyone!

This condo was perfect for our stay on the south shore. It was very clean and comfortable, and I loved how open and airy it felt. We were able to cook breakfast in the mornings and feel at home versus staying in a hotel. I enjoyed the sunrises from the lanai as well. The location is directly across from Lawai beach where we snorkeled with a sea turtle and beautiful fish! It's also across from the Beach House for delicious cocktails and fine dining. It was easy to walk or drive to grab coffee and other meals. Not a far drive from nearby beaches as well. I would definitely stay in this condo/complex again and would recommend it to everyone! Thank you!

The condo has excellent views, privacy, air flow and morning sun. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the shops. When making and changing reservations, the staff was consistently friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. There was constant communications from them that made us feel they were interested in the quality of our stay.
