We stayed at Wailua Bayview condo #108 that sits on a bluff overlooking the bay. A beautiful site to watch the ocean, surfers, occasional whale sightings and feral chickens just outside our floor level lanai. We have rented several Kauai units, but this one is the best!

Fantastic location. Unit was spotless and had everything we needed to pack up for a day at the beach. Complex appeared to be kept in immaculate condition. Property manager very quick to respond to enquiries. We’ll be back!

We have rented the same condo overlooking Waimea Bay twice and love its views of the local surfers, big waves and local chickens! Comfortable and fully equipped, the condo allows us Hawaiian living within our budget.

Great views from the balcony, the condo was just as described. Laundry in unit, kitchen was fully stocked with all gadgets. We loved walking across the street to the passions bakery each morning. We also had the best surf and turf at Bulls Shed! We ziplined with Koloa company. Luau at the Luau Kalamaku, with train ride!!

beautiful condo with gorgeous views of the ocean! we woke up every morning to watch the sunrise and even saw whales one morning. Great location near kapaa town shops and dining. we loved waking up to the roosters every morning.. if you want to sleep in consider bringing ear plugs!

The staff is great to work with. Their office is conveniently located near the airport. The condo was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had a great view. The location is great as it is half way between everything to see on the North and South sides of the island. Only 10 minutes from the airport. Loved our stay.

This property was prefect. Centrally located to get anywhere on the island. You can hear the waves crashing 24/7, amazing to fall asleep and wake up to.
The beach is a short 2 minute (max) walk down and there’s hardly anyone ever there. The property also had a pool that was very well maintained. Kauai Vacation Rentals had two goodie bags waiting for us when we got there which ended up coming in handy. There’s also plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, coolers and snorkeling gear so you don’t have to worry about buying anything when you land on the island. 10/10

The condo had a beautiful view of Wailua Bay. KVR is a great rental agency but the condo complex could use some maintenance and our particular condo could really use a tune up. Hinges are rusty, some baseboards were warped and need to be cleaned. The slider screen were a battle to get open and the slider themselves did not slide well. The bedroom furniture is tired. The kitchen was updated in the last decade or so but already there is swelling of the cabinet doors.

We did not spend a lot of time in the condo- just at night and before going out for the day so it was fine but I think small improvements could be considered to make it more amazing.

A simple comfortable place to stay with an amazing g view from the lanai. Very nice upgraded kitchen and bath. Walking distance to beautiful Lydgate Beach Park. And central location to go to North and East shore destinations. We had a great time staying here and exploring the island.
Only critique: furniture (sofa & ottoman) could be upgraded.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wailua Bay View unit 108. The unit was recently renovated. The condo was centrally located, easy access to everything. The pool was just a few feet from the front door. The lanai is a good place to have dinner and drinks and watch the wave crashing the shore.

Our visit to Kauai was the last stop on a three-island trip to Hawaii. We had an oceanside condo in Maui that we thought was very nice. However, when we walked into 108, we were floored on how beautiful it was, and there was also a view and the sound of surf. 

We were particularly impressed by the condition of the condo, the very attractive kitchen, (better than at home), higher-end furnishings, and even how the towels (and toilet paper roll) were folded and presented in the bathroom. A washer/dryer combo was a wonderful surprise. The "welcome/starter kit" provided by Kauai Vacation Rentals was an added bonus, as well as the cloth shopping bag and small cooler. It was also appreciated that there was plastic wrap, foil wrap, scissors, and other items provided that you would generally have to go out and purchase for daily lunch preparation or if the need presents itself. Although we only had breakfast and packed lunches during our 5-day stay, there was everything you would need to prepare a full meal. 

To remedy the concern for bugs if trash is left in the kitchen, we suggest keeping a large bag in the freezer and place food scraps in there, and then dispose at the end of your stay. This is what we do at home and it works fine. 

We could not have asked for a better transaction than with Kauai Vacation Rentals. All staff were helpful, email requests were answered promptly, and phone communication was easy. They have set the bar high for our future rentals at other locales.

Talk about privacy, it was all that. My family and I stayed for 3 nights and got the bottom floor. Getting up smelling the ocean, grabbing a cup of coffee, and sitting on the lanai looking out at the ocean, what a sight. Stove, Refrigerator, Washer, Dryer, everything that we needed for a great vacation. Thank You Kauai Vacation Rentals..will definitely stay there again and recommend it to my family and friends.
