Activities neaby: Seasonal swimming in the bay, snorkeling, diving and sightseeing boat tours along the Na Pali Coast, kayaking on the Hanalei River. 15 minutes from wet/dry caves, Ke'e Beach, hiking trailhead into Kalalau Valley. 10-minute drive to Princeville golf, tennis, athletic club, shopping center, restaurants and horseback riding.

My family and some friends stayed in this house in September 2012. It was fantastic! We loved it!! The house is wonderful, decorated in a tasteful plantation/island style. The kitchen is kind of small but totally sufficient for anything you want to cook and serve. The table outside (and the lounge chairs) are glorious. The lawn is beautiful and my kids loved playing and running there. The beach in front is just beyond gorgeous. So, beautiful. We made a fire at night, and that was so much fun, too. There is an outdoor shower, that is really handy, and there is a closet outside the house with tons of toys for kids, beach chairs, umbrellas, everything you need for the beach. There is some snorkel stuff, also. I would go back there in a second, you will love this place!

We stay at the Avery House every Christmas and absolutely love it! The house is wonderful in every way! We love to sit on the covered porch and eat most meals at the outdoor table on the porch. It is so much better than eating out when you have such a beautiful view of Hanalei Bay! We typically have Dani Felix cater our dinners, which are always yummy. The house has beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas, and most anything you could need while you are staying there. Hanalei Bay is the prettiest bay and beach that we have ever seen! We hope to be lucky enough to continue to rent the Avery house for many years to come!
